However, Rain had been one step ahead, and recalled Ruby. "Go, Lilith!" She says, and lets out her Mawhile (lets just say she used one of her Revives). "Now use Faint Attack!"
(Faint Attack can't miss...)

The diglett groaned as the mawile slammed into him. "<Owwww...>" He groaned before digging under the ground.
((I don't know if Faint Attack hits during Dig/Fly/Bounce...does it? I don't think so...))

(Lets just say it hits before the pokemon starts the attack or something, crap, I forgot her other attacks.)

((Actually, I'll say it hits, but is weakened because she has to go through solid ground to hit the diglett.))
Suddenly, as the mole was burrowing around, Lilith appeared on top of him, gnashing at him with her fake jaw. However, she was underground, and he had a type advantage...
He then used the ground he had mushed up from the first part of his Dig to cave in the tunnel on the mawile. Since he could easily deal with cave-ins, this was no problem for him...but he'd seen mawiles have difficulty with them in the past, since they had a type-weakness.

"Lilith, if you can hear me, try using Faint Attack to get out," Rain says.
(I figure that since the pokemon technicaly dissapears to use Faint Attack, she should be able to get out.)

((Yeah, but the attack needs to hit...and you never said she got out. You just said Rain ordered her to get out. And ground-type attacks are super effective against steel-types...and don't you think being UNDER the ground would make it do more damage?))

(I really don't follow that logic, I just wasn't sure if it would actualy work.)

((Wait...what weren't you sure that would work? And did that sentence I typed make sense, cuz I dunno...^_^;; ))

(I don't see how a steel pokemon, who is weak against ground I'll admit that, would be weaker underground if she used a Faint Attack, which is a dark attack that is unhindered by the ground.)

((Because she'd have to pass through the ground, and then would be in a tunnel built for a diglett, which is considerably smaller. I figured being in the tunnel would hinder her movement, and cut the power a little.
Oh, and where is your mawile right now? Still underground, or above ground...being caught in a cave-in, I would expect underground, or weakenen on top.))

(Weakened on top, is that better?)

((Yeah...please describe what happens to your Pokemon, otherwise it's harder for the moderator. -_-;;; ))
The diglett popped up out of the ground, and burrowed in a circle around the steel-type, kicking up mud in a ferocious mud slap.

Rain, realizing the problem, switches pokemon out again, this time sending Ruby out. "Now use psychic!" Rain says, and the dragon blasts the Diglett with a psychic blast.
(I would use Queenie, but she would need water to move about.)

((That, and the diglett is Group 3. While the level is a little fuzzy, they're the group of whoever they go up against first.))
Finally, the diglett just went down.
The Geodude grunted. "<Your two level 26 Pokemon each gained a level,>" he said lazily. "<Let's go, it's just straight, it seems. I can't see a fork, at least for awhile.>"

(You mean level 2, and I think Ruby was level 27, so she's level 28.)
"Okay," Rain says, and they continue on.

((If she was level 27...then she'd only gain 1/2 a level. The diglett was level 26. So yar...sorry. I was too lazy to look at your profile. -_-
So if this was how it was before the battle:
Ruby - 27 Lilith - 26
Then this is how it is now:
Ruby - 27 1/2 Lilith - 27))

(Yeah, that makes more sense. JUST 2.5 MORE EXP UNTIL SHE EVOLVES!)

((Hahah.))
Suddenly, a Geodude dropped from the ceiling (don't ask how it got up there), and aimed for Ruby as he fell.
"<Watch out,>" Rain's guide pointed out, as if it weren't already obvious.

"How did it... never mind, Ruby use your psychic attack!" Rain commands.

The Geodude was blasted upwards, smacked the ceiling, and fell down onto the floor. It rolled over, showing swirly eyes. Rain's guide shook his head. "<An embarassment to my species...anyways, he was three levels below your bagon, so she gained 1/2 a level, if I'm correct,>" he explained, staring at Rain's only-slightly-minute and hip-heavy dragon. "<How do you keep that thing on your shoulder? They weigh close to 100 pounds!>" ((Sorry, but it's been bugging me...>_< They're 2 feet tall. -_-; )
