((I think her attacks are something along the lines of Fake Tears, Vicegrip, Faint Attack, and Sweet Scent. I forget...it should be in your profile, though.
Actually, technically you "don't have" a mawile. Please copy the stats into your profile!))
Finally, since Ame was bored, the sableye fainted. As he did, he phased through the rock wall and out of sight. The ground ghosts weren't too keen on being captured...as that meant direct sunlight ninety percent of the time.
Rain's Pokedex beeped. "Your mawile just defeated a level 25 sableye. She gained 1/2 a level. She is now level 26 1/2."

(I forgot where the stats are.)
Rain shrugs. "Okay, well might as well move on," she says, recalling Lilith as they start moving again.

However, she didn't move far along her path, before a mawile popped out of the ground behind her of her. Well, not really popped out of the actual ground. There was a small recess in the floor a head where the mawile had been waiting, his fake jaw open to the widest extent. He had been hoping for a good meal. What his jaw closed around was the tail end of Rain's leather trench coat, which pulled him out of his hollow, and began to drag him along the floor. Of course Rain probably did notice the heavy weight of the steel type.

Rain stops, and turns around to look at the Mawile. "Why does this always happen to me?" she mutters, before speaking up. "Why are you latched on to my coat?"

The mawile just grinned with the mouth that wasn't attached. The other mouth started to munch.

"Go Ruby!" Rain says, and lets out her Shelgon. "Use ember attack on that Mawile!"
(Rain's coat is fireproof, don't ask why. Also, I know Ruby can't level up any more, but she's the only group two pokemon that knows fire attacks.)

((Who said the mawile was Group 2?))
The mawile smirked, ripping off more of the coat in his mouth, and running far away. The flames barely hurt...what a low-leveled dragon!
((In case you can't tell, this guy is Group 3.))

(Okay, lets go with plan B, but next time, TELL ME FIRST!)
Rain slaps her forehead, recalls Ruby, and removes her coat long enough to give the Mawile a swift kick with enough strength to knock anything down the tunnel. "Never, touch my coat..." Rain growls.
(I know it doesn't sound good, but she really likes that coat.)

The mawile, being a steel type, simply shrugged off the kick and held his ground. Seeing that the trainer obviously was too weak to battle him, he decided to snatch a tiny bit more of her coat with his sneaky fake jaw, and then saunter back down the tunnel to find something more interesting.
Rain's geodude guide rolled his eyes. "<You really can't win with mawile. Anyway, should we keep going, then?>"

"I really need to work on my leg strength," Rain mutters, and removes her trench coat. She puts it in her bag, and takes out another one that looks exactly the same as the one the Mawile tore. "Yeah, lets."

<Actually, I would say that your leg strength is quite strong,> the geodude observed, bounding along. <You just kicked a pokemon made almost entirely out of steel and didn't break your leg. I'm impressed. Now,> the passage way widened and split, one passage going to the left, the other one continuing straight ahead, but rising, <which way will you go?>

"Good point," Rain says, mentaly thanking her 5th grade gym teacher for making her run all those laps. She pauses for a moment, and nods. "Lets try left," she says, placing a marker on the left passage.
(I have no idea why I put that gym teacher thing in.)

The geodude nodded, and they continued left. The path sloped downward, and kept going...until a froglike creature blocked their way. He sneered. "<I hope you're ready to battle, trespasser,>" he trilled.
Rain's guide grinned. "<A croagunk! The only hang out in places really far from the entrances - this is a good sign. Oh, and he's Group 2, by the way.>"

"A Croa-whata?" Rain asks, scratching her head. "Oh, its a Sinnoh pokemon, isn't it? I'm not familiar with that one to be honest..."
(Give me a hand here, I don't know its type.)

((Pokedex entry: www.pokecharms.com/webdex/index.php?Pokemon=croagunk )) The geodude pointed. "<It's a croagunk, and they were introduce in here when they phased in wild Sinnoh-native Pokemon. I'm pretty sure it's a poison-type...I don't remember the other type, though. It's a dual-type. I really need to learn more about the newer ones...>" The croagunk crossed his flippered arms, sneering. "<Poison-fighting, no duh. I hope you're ready to battle me, you pompous idiot.>" Rain's guide rolled his eyes. "<Personality aside...you're training for Botan's gym, right? If you are, he'd be good for it...well, type-wise, at least.>" ((Just tryin' to think of a third/fourth Pokemon for you. A poison-type or flying-type would be good offensively, and if you don't want a pidgeotto or doduo (it seems like everybody is catching them for the gym), then this one might be good. Or you could wait, and see if you get something better. Alternately, you could get a torkoal or sneasel from the Altering Mansion, while they're there.))

"Alright, lets go Lilith!" Rain says, and lets out her Mawhile. "Start with a Sweet Scent!"

The croagunk paused, letting his guard down a bit. The wafting scent smelled so nice...
Shaking his head to clear his nose (which didn't really work), he sneered again. It wasn't so much a sneer in normal terms, but more the standard croagunk expression. He then grinned again before disappearing...
He then reappeared right on Lilith, his flippers encrusted with a black, warping energy. He slashed down his flipper towards Lilith, directing the Faint Attack at her belly.

As the attack started to hit, Lilith was already fading away into her own faint attack. Sure, it wouldn't be as effective against a fighting pokemon, but it would lessen the damage she took.

The fighting-type was thrown back, and bounced off the walls with his powerful legs. He then, with a smile on his face, pulled back his flippers in preparation for a Counter.
Once he got closer to the mawile, he whipped his flippers forward, turning the damage he took from Lilith's attack back at her, double-power.
