((No, they're not. But this is the 80th post, and I was going to let you win anyway.))
Roh finally fell forward without getting up. Matthew grunted, returning her to her Pokeball. He then grabbed an envelope, crossed the arena, and thrust it out towards Rain. "2500 pyen. Terrain Badge." Then he stomped off into a back room to heal his Pokemon. Stupid type-confused trainer. Dragons are overrated and diseased creatures; earth Pokemon are much better, he thought sourly. Besides, I doubt she could hold a candle to Corwin when he really tries. Feh, trainers think we're pushovers...I don't like being the must-be-beaten gym leader. We've only had our few chances to really show our power. He jammed his Pokeballs into the healing machine, crossing his arms.
He missed his strong Pokemon (he and Arisa both).

Rain takes the badge and money, and puts them wherever she keeps her badges and money (I never did decide on where they go) as she recalls Hera. "Oh, and Matthew, sorry about the gym," she says as the gym leader heads into the back, and walks out, making her way to the pokemon center to heal.
(Hey, I need experience and stuff for this still.)

((Okay...so... Benny gains a total of 5 levels, putting him at level 23. I'd recommend leveling him up one more level, then letting him stay that way. That way you'll have a fully-trained Group 1 Pokemon. -- Would you like Benny to learn Water Pulse? Lynn gains a total of 4 levels, putting her at level 24. You could just leave her like this, and that's two Group 1 Pokemon at the highest level (unless you want one of them in a higher group.) Hera gains a total of 1.5 levels, putting her at level 19. Sorry. ))

(Okay, yes to the part about Water Pulse, tell me his other attacks again?)

((Finally. You're out of the gym. So, wait, it's okay for Nyaa to end a gym battle one page earlier than it's supposed to be ended, and I get slapped around PM-land by Nyaa for it? -.- Anyway, to help you continue onto Route 3 or 5 Benny's attacks are:
Mud Slap Spark Water Gun Magnitude))

Rain takes the badge and money, and puts them wherever she keeps her badges and money (I never did decide on where they go) as she recalls Hera. "Oh, and Matthew, sorry about the gym," she says as the gym leader heads into the back, and walks out, making her way to the pokemon center to heal. (Hey, I need experience and stuff for this still.) "Should we count?" the voice was barely a whisper. "Nah. Two to start, four to finish," someone whispered back. BAM! BAM! Two gray capsules the size of fists exploded on the ground in front of Rain. Girtty gray smoke filled the air, chocking and stiffling anyone not prepared. Someone cannoned into the trainer and she went sprawling, knocking into the ground with her assailant on top. A second pair of hands lifted her trench coat and grabbed two pokeballs from her clip. "Got 'em, let's go!" The figure on top of Rain pushed herself up, using Rain's back as a practical trampoline. There were four more bangs and the cloud thickened to the point of near solidity. The slap of shoes against pavement indicated that two people were running away. "Where'd that abra go?" someone asked, their high voice muffled by the choking cloud. "She's right here!" And then all noises ceased.

(HOLD ON, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE POKEMON, AND YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT WITHOUT GIVING ME SOME WARNING, ITS ONLY FAIR!)

You participated in the plot. The plot permission thread was your warning. My NPC who deals in pokemon that are kept in their pokeballs is a pair of twins. Two people, two pokemon. Take it up with MF. She wanted to encourage people to keep their pokemon out more often.

(Well, I have another problem, you godmodded! You can't expect someone to have all of this stuff happen, and never try to fight back!)

Really? Where? Show me where and I'll modify. I'm terribly sorry if I have godmodded. However, it is unlikely in the extreme that anyone would be able to fight back if taken by surprise and by an enemy they can't see.

(Your carachters attacked her and left without giving her a chance to fight back, that's godmodding in my book! And about that, suprise yes, but she would've caught on quickly, you don't need the sense of sight to fight an enemy.)

Yes, but you do need not to have them sitting on you. This is their attacking style. It's how they do what they do. This occurred in under a minute. Unless Rain has taken magic ninja technique lessons she has less than 5% chance of having managed to fight back, much less be successful at it.

(How did you know? Well, not as much of magical.)

Where is the magical ninja learning on your bio, Ruin? The admins don't pay attention to anything that isn't on the applications. If you say its hidden in the mysterious past that just means that it never happened to Rain. There needs to be an actual sentence that says: "Rain learned magical ninja moves while learning how to perfect her career as a Mary Sue."
I don't see any form of godmodding here, just realistic RPing. If you don't like it talk to Nyaa, but after giving her death threats, I doubt that she'll be sympathetic.

(I left holes in the profile so her past could be more open, not closed! But fine, I will throw the ninja training in, and yes, she has had it, and its technicaly not magical.)

You should have established this before hand, however. It won't do anything to the post, as pointlessly adding on powers to fit a situation isn't good RPing (although it's an amazing Mary Sue cliche, so you are at least good aty something).

She is one. You write her like one. The only difference between her and an out of the closet Mary Sue is that you won't admit it. For now she's an in the closet Mary Sue. Go ahead, let Rain out. It made me feel so much better when I finally admitted to my characters insane perfection, absolute unrealism, and pathetic lack of personality.

(I REFUSE TO ACNOWLEDGE IT, I HATE THE TERM MARY SUE, IT IS DEROGATORY TOWARDS CHARACTERS AND THEIR CREATORS, YOU SHOULD PUNISH YOURSELF FOR JUST SAYING IT!)

You're right, and I shall, in fact. But that doesn't save your Rain from being what she is.
