A stampeding ryhorn can't be stopped, or moved from it's course very easily. Roh didn't even bother to try to dodge. Her thick plate-like feet pounded through the layers of rubble and dirt, leaving flat crushed rock in their wake. The water gun hit her face on, jetting onto her horn, but spraying outward, barely hitting the rest of Roh's body. Then she was past the stream of water, and her large horn, glowing from the power that she was pouring into it, rammed into Benny.

"Benny!" Rain shouts, as the Barboach goes flying, and is knocked out. "Okay, that's not bad," she mutters, recalling Benny. "Go Lynn!" Rain says, and Lynn is let out again. "Lets start with a Nature Power!"

((I don't think Nature Power is the move you want to use...look at her other moves, look at the type chart, and then pick a different one. This could end really soon or not-so-soon...))
The rhyhorn simply shrugged off the attack - it barely hurt her rocky exterior.
"Horn Attack again!" Matthew called.
"<Right-o,>" grunted the placid Pokemon as she charged back down the arena towards Lynn, horn pointed and ready.

(I know, I made a mistake there.)
"Alright Lynn, lets use a growl attack to start things off!" Rain commands, and her Lombre lets out a growl. Okay, lowering its attack is a start, but I've got to wait until the time is right to go on the offensive, Rain thinks.

((Ruin...you NEED to write about your Pokemon getting hit and what they do to minimize the damage. Don't make me make you take out Lynn, too...))
Roh felt a little weaker offensively, but charged in again for another Horn Attack.

(Uhh Nyaa, I meant that to be while the attack was heading towards Lynn, and then we'd use absorb after the attack hits, before Roh could move away.)

((Nope. You can't auto Roh, and I didn't see that anywhere. You used Growl, so there was no real obstacle (like pain) to keep her from moving away then coming back again. Carry on.))

(I wanted the reaction, then I would... never mind, she got hit, but she doesn't have lowered defense, so its not nearly as damaged.)
"Lynn, use Absorb!" Rain commands, and as Lynn gets hit by the attack, she latches on to the Rhyorn and starts to drain her energy. Okay, strategy time, if I've read Matthew like I think I have, there is one thing I can try, but it will be risky, Rain thinks.
(Here's what I suggest if you want it to end quickly, have Roh try to run at a wall at full speed, with Lynn still attached, since its not technicaly an attack, I can have Lynn jump off, and Roh will, in theory, run into the wall at full speed, and that should be enough to temporarily stun her, perhaps giving Lynn enough time to finish her off.)

((One: Roh has rock head, which if it negates recoil damage it certainly won't mind running into a wall. Two: the sides of the gym are sand, so it wouldn't hurt Roh to run into them. Three: Who is to say that the wall could take the abuse, since ryhorn can level small buildings with their tackles, according to 'dex data. Four: Why the heck should Roh run into a wall anyway? Ryhorn are amazingly strong (their tackle can supposedly level small buildings), and could knock Lynn, even as a lombre (she's only 32.5 kg, not even one third of a ryhorn's wieght which is 115 kg), flying by shaking her head. I mean, Matthew's an all out offense guy, but he's not stupid enough to waste his pokemon's energy (especially if it's being drained by absorb) by having her run around more than she needs to.))
"Shake her off Roh!" Matt called out.
The ryhorn seemed to think about it. There was a lot of pain, and she was feeling much weaker. Perhaps it might be best to take his orders. They appeared to have been considered with the utmost care. Her massive armor rattled as she began to shake all over. Soon enough, the Lombre had been vibrated off.
"Horn attack!"
Roh backed up, glad to hear the attack called. It was her favorite attack. She then rammed forward, bearing down on Lynn with 115 kg of ryhorn behind her armor.

(Okay, bad idea. And how much is 115 kg in pounds? I'm bad at conversion mathmatics.)
"Lynn, use absorb again!" Rain commands as the ryhorn bears down on Lynn, who cringes, but uses absorb again to raise her health back up. Come on, just gotta last just a little longer... Rain thinks.

((Somewhere around 250 pounds, I think.))
Roh grunted as more of her health was sucked away. She felt lightheaded and anemic, and only heard Matthew's order for a Fury Attack in the background as she stumbled farther away from Lynn. She took a few deep breaths to steady herself, then charged again, jabbing her horn forward 4 times.
((This is the 70th post...I'll probably let you win no matter what before 80...))

"Lynn, use absorb again!" Rain commands, and after the attacks hit, an injured Lynn starts to drain Roh of energy again. Its only a matter of time before one of us gives in, and even if Lynn doesn't make it, I can try Hera, as a last resort, Rain thinks.

((Luckily for you, Lynn should be replenishing at least a fair amount of the health she loses per turn. )) Roh spun a little, then turned back around. She glanced dazedly at Matthew, trying to get him into focus. "<Head...spin...>" she muttered, her tongue feeling like rubber. "Try Fury Attack again," Matthew ordered, frowning. He hated losing. So the rhino-Pokemon charged again, this time only jutting her horn out three times. Major fatigue was not something she liked being afflicted with.

She's losing focus, we can win this if we attack now, Rain thinks, as the attacks hit Lynn . "Alright Lynn, use Absorb again!" Rain commands.

Roh was able to sink a bit to the left (not on purpose - her legs just felt a bit too weak just then), so she managed to miss a large portion of the attack. However, she could barely keep a straight image in her eyes, and opted to just to a Horn Attack from the nearby location. At least then she wouldn't have to run...she knew she was close to losing - why bother with the running? (Especially since it was impossible for her to win - Rain had another Pokemon, and she knew she couldn't defeat the lombre AND another Pokemon without going down beforehand.)

"Lynn, lets try another Absorb attack!" Rain commands. Lynn realizing that Roh was possibly too disoriented to attack straight, drains some more of the Ryhorn's energy, though Roh does get in at least a minor hit with the Horn Attack.

Roh fell back, but managed to get up. She was breathing heavily, trying to replace all the lost oxygen-in-the-blood-stream the stupid dancing duck kept taking away from her.
She fell forward, jabbing her horn out in another Horn Attack. The whole "charge-then-stab" thing was too much for her now-jelly legs.

(I'm not going to like doing this very much, but I don't think she can take another absorb attack, and Hera needs training.)
"Lynn, return, go, Hera!" Rain shouts, recalling her Lombre, and her Combusken appears in a burst of light. "Alright Hera, use Double Kick!"

Roh rolled her eyes, and stumbled to the left a bit. The kicks hurt...a lot...
She pictched forward at Hera, throwing all her wait into one Horn Attack.
Meanwhile, Matthew rolled his eyes at Rain. Stupid type-confused water trainer, he grumbled mentally.

"IF YOUR THINKING I'M A WATER TRAINER, STOP RIGHT NOW, I'M RAIN SKYLARK, SOON TO BE THE GREATEST DRAGON TRAINER THE WORLD'S EVER SEEN!" Rain shouts, and Hera shakes her head.
As the horn attack gets close enough she gets hit by the attack, but shrugs it off, and gives Roh two more kicks.
(Normal attacks are weak against fighting types.)
