(Good idea, should I keep training, or go back?)

((I don't know))
However, at that moment. A Rattata came into the clearing sniffing around, she was looking for food most likely, she would stop, sniff the air, then continue onward... she soon found a nut and began to gnaw on it. Totally ignoring the Trainer.

"What's with me and finding all these Rattata?" Rain mutters. "Uhh, hello."

((Rattata are common.... I once had a route in my game and all I saw was rattata and it was at least ten encounters... so yeah... also, I didn't read all the posts, only the last three.))
The Rattata looked up and quickly hugged the nut in her paws. <MINE!> She whined, her voice showing to be a rather young Rattata. <You can't have it.> She looked to be scared of the human.

"And why do I seem to attract the crazy pokemon..." Rain mutters. "Okay, I wasn't going to take it anyway."

The female Rattata while watching the human, began to gnaw again upon the nut. The Pokemon it seemed was focused still on getting food to eat.

"Okay, I'm just going to continue on my way, enjoy your nut," Rain says, and keeps walking.

The Rattata continues to eat.
The path remains clear up ahead of Ruin, no pokemon, espessially no crazy Pokemon waiting the bushes or trees or tall grass, waiting for the next trainer to pass by them.
((You may move to the next town if you feel your ready to go up against Pokemon ranging from level 9-11 in the gym. Or you can stay and train some more.))

Rain shrugs, and walks out of Route 1, making sure the Lotad is behind her as she enters Saphire Town.
