No New Posts First Ring Housing

Most of these buildings are older buildings that have been renovated. They are usually quite large, at least two stories tall, although there are smaller ones. They have large lawns, all of which-even in untenanted buildings-are kept in tip-top shape. These are the homes of the wealthiest in the city.

No New Posts First Ring School

The only school in the first ring, it occupies a place of honor near the very center of the city. The building itself is a spotless white, with a bricked pathway leading up to the door with lush grass in the large school-yard, all of it safely confined behind a security gate that manages to look good. It’s four stories high, is very prestigious, and cost a great deal to get into. There are facilities for nearly every sport, along with the promise that if enough people are interested in a sport that it will be offered.

No New Posts First Ring Hospital

One of the few metal buildings in this area of the city, it’s a shiny steel color, with large windows for the patients to get a lovely view of the pleasant buildings surrounding them, and only the towers in the second ring to mar the sight. The inside is full of paintings and plush chairs to wait in, along with a gift shop with many things to buy to wish one well.

No New Posts First Ring Office Block

A large building that resembles the hospital greatly. The windows are less tinted than the hospital windows, along with being larger. There are a larger number of plants, but fewer pieces of art, and each floor is divided into work rooms for individual person’s, each person being given the option to decorate their rooms as seen fit, so long as it is removable.

No New Posts First Ring Streets

These sidewalks are very clean, the streets aren’t clogged with traffic when there are cars on them at all, and the foliage is very pretty, and very common. The streets themselves are very safe, since it is extremely rare to every lose sight of a police officer, and the parks are large and beautiful. If there isn’t a sub board for a particular place, such as a park or coffee shop, you may make a thread for one here.

No New Posts Second Ring Housing

This is the smallest section of housing. Generally these buildings are found in small pockets all-throughout the second ring. They are usually in the same condition as the better ones in the third ring, or even in worse condition than some of those that are less desirable. Also found here is the apartment building, with identical rooms in general, although one can decorate them as they see fit. A large entry-room, a small side room to serve as a kitchen, two bedrooms in the back and a bathroom next to the kitchen.

No New Posts Second Ring Hospital

The building itself is less shiny, dulled steel being its outside. The windows aren’t as large, and the view isn’t that great anyways. The inside is pretty enough, not as expensive looking as the hospital in the first ring, but still putting up a great show. It even has a more homey feel to it, not so uptight.

No New Posts Second Ring Office Block

A far larger building than the one in the first ring, nowhere near as attractive looking, the jobs pay less, and the people usually share their office with at least one other person, which means that they get less choice in how they are able to decorate. There are a few paintings on the walls in the hallways, and plants around the occasional corner, but it certainly doesn’t pose any cosmetic competition for the first ring business building.

No New Posts Second Ring Streets

The sidewalks often have trash on them, the streets are clogged with cars, and one can go for thirty minutes without seeing a police officer without even thinking about their absence. It is crowded here, and the only foliage is the occasionally tree heroically growing between concrete buildings and ground. Defiantly not somewhere for the unwary to wander, this is one of the more dangerous places to be. Threads such as parks (where foliage is found more in abundance) and coffee shops can be made here.

No New Posts Third Ring Houses

Most people in Newbrook live here, in houses that range from pretty good to pretty bad. Some have yards, some don’t. Few houses are two stories high however, and those that are usually houses where half is rented out to bring in more money.

No New Posts Third Ring School

A public school, it is nowhere near as impressive looking as the first ring school. Most children go here, unless their parents pay for the first ring school. It is a sprawling, ugly affair of dull orange brick that reaches two stories, but stretches in all directions on the ground. There is a football and soccer field, a tennis court, and a track around the eastern building. Four times around the track means you’ve ran a mile-the eastern building is pretty small, and only houses the cafeteria. The security measure consists of a strict dress code-there is a uniform-and the surveillance of camera’s.

No New Posts Third Ring Businesses

Where small business’s that haven’t grown into a large one yet are located. They are rarely larger than two stories, decidedly less impressive than the first or second ring business building, and certainly don’t bring in as much money unless you get very lucky and people are coming to your shop very often.

No New Posts Third Ring Streets

Nicer to look at than the second ring streets, there is still some trash but the people who live here often pick it up and throw it away for their own sakes. There isn’t much grass, but there are quite a few healthy trees and bushes, and the reason for the disappearance of grass is probably because of the incredible number of children who fill the streets and sidewalks and yards. It’s pretty safe here just because of the number of adults watching their children, or because the children are rarely not in a group. They play games as the adults see it-war as the children see it.

No New Posts The Docks

On the western side of the second ring are the docks. These platforms are always crowded, both of trucks and crates, working people and boats. Despite the fact that many of the trucks and boats look to be in bad shape, the docks themselves are kept in very good condition.

No New Posts The River

A somewhat murky river that has been slightly polluted by the city. It is usually crowded with boats transferring goods and people up and down the river, along with the house-boats used by those families who make their living on the water.
