Information you need to know to roleplay here.
You have to know a little bit about Pullman’s books, and this is all it is:
))Alright, in Pullman's books each person has a daemon. While you are a child, your daemon can change into practically any animal, but when you enter adulthood, your daemon 'settles' and stays in one form for the rest of your life.
Most daemons can't go far from their human partners. It literally causes both parties pain. In fact, only the witches really have the ability to go far from their daemon's-most of whom, if not all, are birds when they settle.((
Alright, the way this works with pokemon:
Every child has a ditto, meaning they're pokemon can change into absolutely anything. When it settles, it chooses a form that fits best with the personality of their human counter-part, no matter what evolutionary stage. I will choose a pokemon from your list of 5-10 that I think best fits your character. No matter what your daemon/pokemon will be the OPPOSITE gender of your character.
Pokemon have balancing natures to your character. If you have a character that is very rash and does something before thinking, the pokemon will think before acting, and slow your character down. This isn't to say that the pokemon is the complete opposite-he/she is just less likely to rush off and do something. If your character is very shy, their pokemon may be shy or outgoing. You know your conscience? That's probably what you should think of daemon's have.
You pokemon will settle around the age of 12-15, anywhere in that age range.
Most people start to acquire a single attribute of their pokemon-to be decided by me-in their middle ages. If these are abused, your characters will be removed of their abilities, and you’ll just have to do without. If there is still a problem, we’ll just get rid of this all-together.
Children “wage war” against those in different rings. Even the second ring children stick to their own, which causes quite a few problems in school. It isn’t a good idea to go into another ring on your own, as you might end up with some bruises and mud in your hair.
Rules
Jenta rules. Follow them.
You don’t command your pokemon. They protect your by attacking the other people’s pokemon, if the other people’s pokemon are attacking you. However, unless it is a very serious fight, your pokemon won’t aim to knock out the other pokemon, and the pokemon’s level is equal to that of your age.
