William smiled, "Right there." He said to the Tangela.
He quickly approached the policewomen. "Ma'am, I really need to talk with you once you are done with the ticket... someone stole two of my Pokemon." He hoped that telling the main event right now would make her listen to him once she was done with the ticket.
At least he hoped that would be the case.

The woman's eyes widened, and she turned to look at him, hastily finishing her scribbling, and slapping the note on the car.
"Excuse me?!" She coughed, trying to sound quieter. Jenta was, well, this kind of place where you knew everyone, right? People didn't often steal, since they'd be quickly caught, and -- well, they weren't poverty poor like Miteinjan. And to steal pokemon -- that was like kidnapping a child, almost. It was -- unthinkable. But she couldn't exactly tell the boy he was crazy or lying, since it was likely that, well, he didn't look as though he was.
"Never mind. Are you sure? No, wait, we need to get to the station, so someone can take down your report," she gestured with her gloved hand. "Follow me."

William only nodded his head numbly, still in shock that he was short two Pokemon, he was trying to not freak out, but being a teenager, it was hard to not go extreme, but he was able to keep it all in his mind.
He only followed the officer, making sure that the Tangela was still following, He wanted to try and get this part over with, so he could go hunt for those that thought that he would be an easy target, he had one thing in common with all the rest of his strange family he realized, He had a determination that when he had a goal, he would work for it at no expense of time, energy, or what ever money he might have at the moment.

The officer lead the way down the street, looking about her in the warm sunshine, as if expecting thieves to jump out at them. She was too new on the squad to deal with this, she was certain. However, the brown bulk of the police station loomed, and she happily thrust the thoughts away, leading Willam through the swinging doors.
They walked up to the desk, and the policewoman alerted the duty officer for the day, who had been peacefully sampling a donut.
"Charlie, this young man would like to file a robbery complaint. Someone has stolen his pokemon."
Charlie's eyes widened, and he quickly searched through his files for the form. "Really? Gosh. Okay, sir, what is your name?"

William stood at attention, he was taking this very seriously. "William Garret Hamlet." he said this with a very serious tone of voice.

"Right," the officer said, filling out the form. "So, I'll need you to describe the pokemon that were stolen, and how you discovered that they were stolen. Did you put their pokeballs down anywhere, and then forget to pick them up, at the pokemon center, say. Because, they might not be stolen, just missing, you know. It happens. Really. I mean things don't always have to be stolen."

William's face hardened and with the voice of someone that didn't like it when people question what he saw he spoke thus. "I would doubt that I would have misplaced two Pokeballs that were taken off my belt, by other Pokemon, while I was frozen in some kind of Physic hold... I could not move, nor barely breath.... and I saw the two Pokemon come up and take my two Pokemon, my only family that I have left." He added in his mind, 'I burned all the other bridges long ago already'

<It's, uhm, excuse me, I'm, yes, me, yes, ummm, what he's saying is true. I saw it happen!> the tangela squeaked, before running to hide behind William's leg.
The officer peered over the desk. "Is she wild?"
<Yes!>
"I see. Perhaps it would be better if you brought her to the pound, if you don't wish to capture her," the young man told William, feeling grateful that he had something other than unsolved, and disturbing crimes. How could anyone steal a pokemon? It just didn't bear thinking about.
<I'll be going back to route two, thank you very much!> the tangela said abruptly. <It isn't as if I'm attacking anyone with a vine whip of fury, or anything.>
"Right. Um well, you still haven't described, sir, which pokemon were -- were -- stolen. I'll need their species, nicknames, genders, relative sizes, and levels."

William blinked. "I thought..." he shook his head, he was too much like some of the professors that he had meet. "One is a female Taillow, name is Sora Level 14. She is rather confident and thinks she can beat anyone. Then their is my Buizel, name is Cheer, He is level 25, and he is very cheerful, looking on the bright side of things, and is not one to sit by and let friends get hurt, so loyal as well."
He looked like it was painful to him, knowing that he might never see them again, and that was what was hurting him the most inside.

"And are they average for their species?" the police officer inquired.
He noted down on the form that two pokemon had been the items stolen. One taillow, level 14; female, Sora. And one buizel, level 25; male, Cheer. Since one of them was fairly far along he decided that to be on the safe side he'd also ask for attack information.
"And move sets, please. If they were stolen with the intent to train, of course, this won't be entirely useful."

William only nodded his head. "Sora had the attacks of Peck, Wing Attack, Focus Energy, and Quick Attack... as for Cheer he had the attacks of Growl, Pursuit, Swift, and Aqua Jet.... oh if they get ride of Aqua Jet... I will be so made, I have so many ideas for that move in up coming..." He stopped as sudden sadness over came him.
"Sorry, just, please, please find them."

((Someone posted while he was wayyyyy too sleepy, VT. You add "e" on the end of words when you're not awake ^^.))
"All right. Now, you didn't see the attackers, because they held onto you with some sort of psychic grip," the man said, biting his lip. "We'll have an all points bulletin out on two theives with psychic pokemon within the hour. I just can't think how this would have happened."
"That's because if you could you'd be a criminal, corporal," said another man from, coming in from the door behind the counter that led from the booking area to the rest of the police station. "Sergeant Cranesbills," he nodded at William. "Look, this is exactly what I've been saying about psychic trainers all along. They're bound to snap," he addressed the desk jockey. "We'll contact the gyms -- ask about any trainers who've been seen with psychic types. And we can at least set up a road block in a couple of towns to check in coming trainers for psychic types -- Sapphires a bit too big to block off more than the main arterials, but Florak, Wyvern Village, Li Jing, and Iikagen -- well maybe not Iikagen. Nga has all those d*mn*d teleportation pads --, but we could check at the end of sunstone tunnel."
"But sir!" the traffic cop who had led William to the police station looked shaken, "I thought that these were regular thieves we were dealing with."
"What would a thief want with such ordinary pokemon? They don't sell well. My bet is that we have a pair of psychic trainers who went absolutely crazy. It's the perfect cover. Steal some pokemon, and then go back to normal lives as trainers. Now, remember, they're working with psychics, so the squads at check points need to have dark types with 'em. Poochyena, houndour. Have the K-9 units been training with those recently?"
"Well, we've always concentrated on growlithe," the duty officer who had checked William in mumbled.
"Time to switch it up, then," Sergeant Cranesbill said. "Off with you, young man. We're putting our best people on it."

William was a little scared now of the crazy cop, he seemed a little worried about his view of pysics. "But... what if they are not a one type trainer? They could have other Pokemon, I don't know... but from what I read, I might have experienced Ghost Pokemon nearby... the temperature went colder then it should have, and then it warmed up when I was unfrozen... I would have said that, but I got distracted by other questions." He was trying to remember more, but then shook his head.
He then took out a scrape piece of paper. "Here is my phone number, and if I could... can I have the number for this station, so I can report anything else? Or will this report be sent to other stations as well?"
He looked rather worried now, having left out something like that... could result in fines or cell time he thought... he just hoped that his correction of the error wasn't too late.

"The report goes to all stations," Cranesbill replied siomply. "And psychic trainers use mystic ghost types all the time. But you've got a point. We'll have to check anyone who comes through with either a psychic, or a ghost type. Officer Jennifer will give you our number, so call if you can remember any more information."

William only nodded his head. "Thank you so much... I will report to the police station in the next town, just in case they target more then Pokemon, I will keep you apraised of anything I learn or hear, and please... tell me if you find any information, I just got my dex mail update a week ago, so I can receive e-mail now... It is amazing how much information is now going into these small things."
He had while talking programed the police phone number to his phone section, and put it on a speed dial option so he could contact them right away.

"Right then, so, where are you heading, so we'll at least know where to expect you?" Cranesbill inquired, leaning on the counter. His pen tapped a stucco beat on the fake wood covering. "Look, I don't want to get you down, but I gotta say -- things ain't looking good as far as getting your pokemon back. It's not impossible, mind you -- but our police force just isn't equipped to deal with serious crime like kidnapping. It's really difficult to wrap our minds around the idea that trainers might not be who they say they are."

William pulled out a small handbook. "It appears that the next gym is in Iikagen City, so that is where I plan to be going. I do not know how long, since I like taking my time in routes, to study the flora and fauna on my journeys, I plan to be a Pokemon Professor, and each Professor in their younger days went on Pokemon journeys, I can see why, they can better understand what a trainers life is like, and help them when they are older." He smiled as he pulled out his book.
"Would you like to see my notes on the previous routes?" He asked, showing that he was, well, somewhat eager to share his knowledge with other people.

The three police officers shared a glance. "Jennifer's probably interested in that sort of thing. Since she's a beat cop," the two men said quickly.
Jennifer's expression could have stripped paint, and she turned it in the direction of the two without mercy, before looking at William. "Sorry. You know what? Why don't you show be once you figure out where the period went in your special box of punctuation. We've all got our jobs to do. Perhaps I'll see you again once you come back to Sapphire City."

William looked confused. "Wouldn't you mean me instead of be, right there?" He asked, seeing how he couldn't understand the sentence because of some type of mumbling.
He only smiled and nodded his head. "My apologies then, it's just... I guess I am trying to... well, I am not sure anymore... I thought it was a good idea, anyway... I will call you in the next town."
With those words he left the building, he just hoped the tangala got back to her route safely and without incident.
((I shall go to my old route now if you do not mind that at all.))
