William was smirking at a private joke that he was thinking about seeing how his Pokemon were going to be fine... but his smirk dropped right away. "Stupid, Stupid... IDIOT... Never ever think of jokes in a lab experiment, now add that to gym battles." He muttered to himself, he realized that the anger in the ladies voice was due to him.
"Sorry." he shouted, "I couldn't help but remember my silly brother's joke just now." He of course realized that now the Pokemon were hit, one was shoaked and the other was having a headache.
"Okay... Lilly, Use another of your Families Moves... only bring up the rocks again from the water. Edison, use another Low Kick and make this one count NOW!" he didn't like how he got sidetracked by this. He was a scientist, not a full fledge Pokemon Trainer.
Edison, well, he let his rage out and attacked Xi-Xi the best he could, while Lilly took the rocks on the bottom of the small pool and brought them up again upon Lee. <Thank that cold stuff.> She muttered with ice in her own voice William knew that all three of his pokemon would be tired and worn out by that battle.

Arisa raised an eyebrow, glaring at the trainer. Whatever he said...it was still annoying, though.
Xi-Xi, however, soon took her attention as she took her final attack. The Low Kick slammed into her stomach, sending her flying across the field. She tried to get up, but then all forms of consciousness left her head, and she fell.
The referee held a flag up in William's direction. "Jynx is unconscious, Mankey wins the round. Score stands at 2-to-1, Challenger William leading."
Arisa gritted her teeth as she returned her jynx, then focused on her seel.
Lees had neatly avoided most of the rocks, but was panting in the middle. He had been out for the duration of the whole battle, and was tired. Arisa sighed. He'd be going down soon as well...
"Surf!" she ordered, looking at William's two Pokemon. As long as Lees was in the water with nobody else, he would be okay...and Surf could hit both Pokemon on William's side.
((Basically you have two ways to go: one would be to let Lily go in the water, since she can swim. Her attacks would be more effective that way.
The other way is to use the revive (you still have it, right?) on Wynn, and let Wynn Thundershock the pool. That would be the quickest and most effective way to take Lees out.))

((Revive is gone... why did you think I skipped a turn without attacking? I used a potion and a Revive in one turn.))
William looked at Edison, his scientific mind was wondering to odds of the Mankey winning in a type disavantage, but he shook his head, he could find out in a trainer battle, not a battle like this.
"Edison, return... Wynn come on out." William shouted as he held one Pokeball, sending a red beam of light to return Edison to his Pokeball, before he clipped the said pokeball upon his belt and then threw Wynn's Pokeball out into the battle field.
"Okay... Wynn, you can't attack right now, but next time... I tell you what to do... But nothing more, rather top secret my boy." He smiled as Wynn only nodded only looking at the pool of water out of the side of his eyes, he could guess only what he needed to do.
Okay Lilly, I know you are not too strong from that last surf attack... but I know that you can do something more...Let's use the mud that has been forming on the bottom of the pool and use Mud Shot."
Lilly only smiled and walk up to the edge of the pool, and picking up slushy cold mud and began to fling it upon Lee.
William was impressed on how long Lee had stayed in the fight, but he knew that the fight was soon over... hopefully in his favor. He however was frowning, not at his Pokemon, but at his own inapt attempt of being a trainer, he really felt that he should just pick a place and become a scientist and not travel around so much.

LeeS squeaked as the mud swirled all around him, stinging him most painfully.
Arisa gritted her teeth. Surf wouldn't do as much now that there was an electric-type... "Icy Wind!"
Lees nodded, sending a cold gust of wind toward Wynn.
((Bad...post...>_<))

Wynn shivered from the attack but quickly recovered from the attack... He only growled and ran up to the water before sticking his tail into the water, he turned his head to look at William for the command.
"Good, you figured it out without being told, that is using that head of yours.... now, use Thundershock and give Lees a good wake up call, it must be cold in that water after all." He made the joke because the Icy Wind had chilled him as well to the bones, even though he was wearing a nice warm jacket now.

Lees shrieked as the electricity surrounded him and closed in, frying his entire body. He floated up to the surface of the water, unconscious. Arisa returned him with a hmph, then went about extracting the needed winner's envelope. The referee held up the flag in William's direction. "Seel is defeated! Match goes to Challenger William!" Arisa walked around the arena to William, handing him an envelope. She let him see the contents, a snowflake-shaped badge and a few bills. "Here's your Freeze Badge and winnings of 2000 pyen." William's Pokedex beeped, indicating the level gains for the match. ((LEVELS: Arisa's level 9 seel was defeated by Wynn, Lily, and Edison. They all gain 1 level. Arisa's level 10 lapras was defeated by Wynn, Lily, and Edison. They all gain 1 1/2 levels. Arisa's level 11 jynx was defeated Lily and Edison. They both gain 2 levels. Current levels: - Wynn (Pichu): level 12 1/2 --- Moveset: Thundershock, Charm, Tail Whip, Thunder Wave - Lily (Wooper): level 14 1/2 --- Moveset: Ancientpower, Water Gun, Tail Whip, Mud Shot - Edison (Mankey): level 14 1/2 --- Moveset: Scratch, Leer, Low Kick, Focus Energy --- --- Would you like Edison to learn: Covet? One move needs to be deleted to make room for Fury Swipes. --- --- Would you like Edison to learn: Karate Chop? One move needs to be deleted to make room for Karate Chop. YAY! You win. ))

William blinked and stood there in silence as he looked on in shock. "I won... A scientist won for once... that is nice." He smiled, pleased that his team won the battle.
He looked at his stats for Edison... "I think I will replace Leer with Karate Chop... and Scratch with Fury Swipes." He talked as he worked on his Pokedex.
He looked up and nodded his head as he took the envelope.... "Thank you for the envelope and badge... thank you very much."

Arisa shrugged, then left the arena to go heal her Pokemon. The referee smiled kindly at William, muttering his congratulations before skidding after her to fill out the needed paperwork (and give her a target for the standard after-battle glare she always had).
((You may go to the Pokemon Center to heal, now! Then it's off to Route 2 with you, young man! ^_^))

William returned his two tired Pokemon and then turned around, and promptly slipped on a small patch of ice. But he quickly got back up and began to limp to the entrance.
He was able to exit the gym and then limped down the street to the Pokemon Center, he limped up to the counter and then placed all his Pokemon onto the counter. "I would like to heal my Pokemon Ma'am." He was holding back Hawkin's pokeball... he planned to let her out, feed her evening dose, seeing how the sun had began to set now, and maybe try and get to understand her some more.

The woman nodded, and took his many array of Pokeballs. She slipped them one-by-one into the machine, then scanned them in. Glancing at the computer screen, she told him the verdict. "Oh, just routine healing for all of 'em. They're all doing fine, nothing serious." She then pressed a few buttons, and the machine began the healing process. The woman scanned the group, then looked back at william. "Alright, so right now you have 4 Group 1 Pokemon, 2 Group 2 Pokemon, and 1 Group 3 Pokemon on your active team, as well as one with a disability permit. The...espeon? Leafeon? aside, you currently have 7 Pokemon with you. Would you like to deposit any of your Pokemon before you leave for Route 2?"

William looked at the women. "No I do not... I don't trust those machines to hold Pokemon, what if a hacker gets into the system?" He had one strange fear... if he got attached to a Pokemon... which was so far, every single one of them. He wouldn't dare put them into the computer system. "The more they make things complicated, the more they can be bypassed." At least that was what he father said, and he tended to believe what he dad tells him. To a certain degree.

"Alright, then," the nurse said as she handed back all the Pokeballs. She pointed out the door. "If you want to stop by the Poke Mart, it's down the street to the left. If you just want to leave for Route Two, go out the door, go right, keep going for three blocks, then turn left at the bakery - it has a hot pink roof, you can't miss it, go straight for two blocks, take a left, go for one block, then take a right. You should see the exit for Route Two straight on ahead."

William hamlet only nodded his head. "Right... I think I will go to the Pokemart."
He then walked out the Pokemon Center, with his Pokemon clipped to his belt and walked until he reached the Pokemart and entered the building, right away he began to see what items were for sell and at what price.
((Uh... do you have a list of what is for sell here?))

((Uh huh. I should probably make an information thread for all the towns...basically this:
--- Pokeball - 200 pyen --- Potion - 300 pyen --- Antidote - 100 pyen --- Paralyze Heal - 200 pyen
You can get a larger selection in the Bazaar of the Nishihara Building.))
The clerk looked up as William walked in. He blinked boredly, and stared at William. "Can I help you?" he drawled.

William Hamlet looked over the selection before smiling. "Okay, I will take... five Pokeballs. Three Potions. Along with two Antidotes... and one Paralyze Heal." He knew he had enough money at the moment, so he should stock up on items now.

"Alright," the clerk muttered, taking out the items. "That will be 2300 pyen," he grumbled, snatching up William's money. He glanced at the cash register, and then handed William his receipt. "You have 1700 pyen left in your account. Thanks for shopping. Bye now."

"Good bye to you as well sir." The clerk he felt was a little short on words. But then again he was most likely seeing hundreds of people over the course of weeks, so it would become a repetitive job where they are just talking.
He exited the Pokemart and soon was heading towards route two.

William reentered the city, but this time, for a more dire reason, he was looking anyone that might be a police officer he was keeping a hand hovering much closer to his Pokebelt to make sure that his pokemon were not stolen any more, or lose one by accident.

The tangela from route two followed him nervously, looking around at the big buildings with awe. She would occasionally squeak nervously, as a car passed them on the main streets. <Do you know where the police men stay?> she inquired curiously as they continued along.
On a curb not to far in front of William a policewoman was leaning against her bicycle as she wrote a ticket for a car near an empty meter.
