(Hey, if I should decide to leave and return, should I just go back to my previous route thread and return to this one?)
Upon entering Florak Town, Law was greeted by the smell of flowers and... Something else. Something... Repulsive. Something... Like a Vileplume. Sure enough, a trainer nearby was battling with his Vileplume. A Vileplume with an unusually sickening stench.
"Ugh, I could never stand that odor," Law commented as he passed. "Now where's the Pokemon Center..." Pulling out his Pokedex, he quickly flipped through the different options. Pokepedia, status checker, move checker, dex mail, an option to switch on or off messages that your Pokemon have leveled up, and the like until he found a map of the town. "According to the map, it shouldn't be far..."
A grin spread across his face. "Maybe there'll be a cute nurse there..." The grin quickly faded into a frown. "Then again, there might be another uninterested intern..." He sighed and moved on.

((Go back to your original thread, please. It's neater that way.))
The pokemon Center was only a few yards from the main road and could be easily accessed by walking across the square. When Law reached the center, the door fwooshed open thanks to the electronic security systems. A large chansey behind the counter saw him, and turned to the little door in the back. <Viola! We've got a customer.>
"What?" a lovely young woman came out, adjusting her nurse's cap over her purple hair, and the tight skirt of her uniform. "Rose, silly girl, that's a trainer -- see his pokedex? -- they get healing for free. So, young man, how can I help you?" she flashed Law a cheerful smile.

"I'd like to get my Pokemon he-" His eyes drifted from the Pokeballs on his belt to the nurse behind the counter. He immediately noticed two things: She wasn't an uninteresting intern and she wasn't Nurse Joy. "Hello, my name is Lawrance Govan, Gym leader-to-be. After the rough travel down Route Three, it's nice to see such a lovely nurse waiting to tend to the battered and bruised Pokemon that are led here by their trainers. Truly, you must have a heart of gold."
He placed his Pokeballs on the counter, mentally kicking himself for sounding so horribly corny.
(Woo, horrible post!)

Viola looked non-plussed, but then smiled brightly. "Well, I suppose so. I'm just starting my residency here -- I've always wanted to be a nurse. Healing is a wonderful profession. Anyway, take a seat, your pokemon will be ready in a few minutes."
She picked up his pokeballs, and put the in the machine. After a few musical beeps, she took them out again, and called Law back over. "There you go, Mr. Gym Leader-to-be. I hope your training goes well. I'm surprised that you haven't caught a bird to go up against Botan, but all your bug types should be useful."

He approached the counter, still grinning like an idiot. "A flying type, huh?" He commented, grabbing the Pokeballs and placing them back on his belt. "There are some flying types in Route 3... Thanks for the tip!"
He was about to bolt out the door, but paused for a moment. "Bugsy, come on out." He tossed two balls into the air, releasing his Pineco. "Bouncy... Where are you?"
A portal opened right in front of Law and dropped his Jigglypuff from it. "<I saw things... Horrible things...>"
"Wow... Bouncy, you've been lost in Abraspace all this time?" He dug into his pockets as he spoke. "Man, I feel sorry for you." Law pulled out five Rare Candies and a TM. "But hey, have some levels and a new move." He tossed the five candies and the object to Bouncy.
Bouncy inhaled the five candies and examined the disk. "<How am I supposed to use this?>"
"I... I don't know..." Law commented, pulling out another three, which he fed to Bugsy. "I guess you put it in the Pokeball and it transfers it to the Pokemon?"
Bouncy handed the disk back to Law. "<I can't tell which one's mine,>" she stated as she handed the orange-colored disk back to her trainer. "<You do it.>"
"Alright, Bouncy," Law said as he picked a ball off of his belt and slid the disk into the back of it. "There."
The effects all seemed to happen at once. A beam of orange light fired at Bouncy, who learned both Doubleslap and Fire Blast and forgot Pound and Sweet Kiss. Rest, sadly, was passed over. Bugsy grew a bit stronger and skipped over Payback. It's a wimpy Counter, anyway.
He then recalled Bugsy and picked up Bouncy. Law turned back to the nurse. His idiotic grin returned. "Actually, we're not quite done here. I'd like to put away my Azumarill." He placed the ball on the counter.
(I saw all that was coming up. I'm down to zero candies, I need to update the move sets and groupings, and Bouncy is now group 2. RUSH'D!)

"Of course," Viola smiled, taking the pokeball, and placing it in the PC's pokeball holder. "Is there anything else I can help you with? If not, I hope to see you again -- er, that is, not because your pokemon are injured or anything--," she trailed off, thinking about her basic training in "customer service" from school. Exactly why had her teachers encouraged her to use that phrase? Of course, as a nurse, the only reason she would see any of the trainers again would be if their pokemon were badly injured. She wasn't about to wish that fate on anyone.

"With any luck I will be back here." It took him a while, but he realized what he said. "Not because my Pokemon are badly injured..." He began backing away slowly, trying to avoid looking more like an idiot, but it wasn't exactly helping his case. Upon this realization, he ran up the street, turned a corner, and slid to a halt in front of the counter in the Pokemart.
"Seven potions and three great balls." He spoke quickly. He wanted to avoid running into the nurse and looking like a moron again.

"Well young man," said the little old lady behind the counter, "let me see. Seven potions. Each potion is 200 pyen. And that makes them 1400 pyen, if you want seven. Of course you want seven. And three great balls. Mmm. Mmm. Those are 600 pyen. Each. So that's 1800 pyen. Naturally. And all together you owe me, 3200 pyen. In cash, dearie."

Lawrance handed over the money and grabbed the items, taking off running at a speed that could match the strongest super freak. "I'm making great time. With any luck I'll be out of here without even seeing her again," he thought to himself.
Indeed, Route 3 appeared ever closer... And so did that sign. It kept getting closer. And closer still. Man, it was getting really close. In fact, it was so close, the route was completely obscured by it. Perhaps because Lawrance's face was now embedded in it.
Muffled speech came from the sign. "Why must signs be my consistent downfall. This wasn't even a gym sign." He pulled himself off the back and looked at the front of the sign. "Ha ha, take that you sign-destroyer," Law read aloud. "Curse the inventor of giant signs..."
With that curse to an unseen force, Law was on his way back out into the multi-featured world that is Route Three.
