The Shelter
The seventh floor is the haven for abandoned and rescued/mistreated Pokemon. There, kind staff will make sure they are adoptable, then place them in good homes. This is also where trainers who can't care for their Pokemon can leave them...no questions are asked, and there is no abandonment fee.
Or you may choose to volunteer or foster some Pokemon. There are a few Pokemon who aren't quite adoptable yet...and need a little more human interaction to bring them up to good personalities. Feel free to visit them and help out!
Procedure - Abandonment
The staff understands - not all abandoments are because the trainer is mean. Some Pokemon/trainer relationships just don't work out, the trainer might fall ill or be unable to care for a Pokemon, the Pokemon may have a condition the trainer can't handle, or the trainer may decide to quit but let their Pokemon keep training. (So if you want to ditch a character, feel free to leave your Pokemon here.)
All you have to do is make a thread, saying you want to leave your Pokemon here. They will be in the best of care, and don't worry...the staff assures you that they will get placed and WON'T track you down and kill you.
Abandonment is free of charge...all you have to do is supply the up-to-date stat form (which you can just copy + paste from your user profile...or just include a link, or something). The staff will take it from there.
Procedure - Volunteering
Just come in and interact! Not much to it...just have some fun and spread some good attitude. It's a GOOD thing for the Pokemon to get used to all sorts of people...and who knows, maybe you'll fall in love with one.

If you want to adopt, look at the list of adoptable Pokemon we have! All you have to do is ask to see them, then fork over the cash, really...not many questions are asked, though it is required that you meet the Pokemon. Some of them do have badge requirements, but that's only a few...
You may adopt one Pokemon per week (or until your cash flow runs dry). The only exception is if the Pokemon in question cannot be adopted alone. If that is the case, and you are forced to adopt more than one, you have to wait the number of weeks equal to the number of adopted Pokemon if you want to adopt another.

However, she thinks baby Pokemon and humans are cute. Go figure. She was dropped off at the shelter by her trainer who had a small crisis at home that she needed to deal with, and now her goal in life is to find another trainer.

His favorite days are overcast. He used to be a pokemon of a trainer called Mark, but Mark decided to go back to Cinnabar, and so left him here. Sen understand the reasoning behind this perfectly, and is okay with it.

Paranoid of everything is a good description, as well. Although he liked his trainer, since Mark decided to quit he's paranoid that any person who adopts him will do the same

She will try to savage people who "pity" her, or mention Mark. She'll need a few visits before she's ready for human company.
