GYM LEADER
Name: Bahati
Age: 61 (Birthday: July 8)
Hair color: a sort of dusty charcoal grey
Eye color: dark brown
Description: Bahati is a wizened old steel-trainer from a set of islands in the far south. She has rough, dark brown skin, and her long, thick grey hair is usually pulled back in a messy braid. She usually wears a large dark brown shirt and baggy, pleated black pants styled after the Shinto priests from ancient Johto. For some reason, she thinks it helps her move around the moutains. Her shoes usually are some form of hiking boot, though, and has a modern black Pokeball belt and flashlight.
Battle style: single battle in the dark center room of Nga. Her steel-types are used to moving around underground, and often disappear into tunnels leading out of the room to launch a surprise attack. Their speed is their weakness, but their high defenses allow them to take a hit before launching a heavy onslaught of physical attacks. Bahati usually does one of three things: outlast the opponent with defense, disappear to use a digging attack from below, or grunt force.
Tips: Use type advantages to your...well, advantage. Their special defenses are very low, so attack with water and fire attacks as often as you can.
Type: Steel
Badge: Ore Badge
Pokemon:
Aggron (Mwenye) (m)
-Level: 49
-Attacks: Take Down, Metal Sound, Iron Tail, Iron Defense
Steelix (Mchumba) (f)
-Level: 50
-Attacks: Harden, Rock Throw, Iron Tail, Crunch
Metagross (Imamu)
-Level: 52
-Attacks: Scary Face, Psychic, Iron Defense, Meteor Mash
Gym layout: The cavern the gym is located in is lined with a natural steel formation, holding it up. You are advised to NOT use Earthquake, since the steel isn't THAT strong. There are many tunnels and crevasses in the steel, so you can dive into them to use moves like Dig and surprise attacks. The lighting is dim, and lit by natural crystals in the ceiling. The steel that lines the room also acts like the steel-type of Pokemon, so you can use that however you see fit.
Trainers with the Ore Badge (if you need help, ask them for advice):
