The professor nodded, and left the room with the blue Pokedex in hand. About five minutes and thirty crashes/shouts of "ow!" later, he reemerged with a lumpy brown package, two Pokeballs, and his hair and lab coat looking even more disheveled. He handed all three of the items to Tommy, and attempted to smooth his wild hair.
"Now then, boy, inside this package is your starter set. You'll find five empty Pokeballs, a bag of assorted berries for the road, a wallet with 5000 pyen, the blue Pokedex you picked out, and a Pokeball with your Group 2 starter inside. Now this Pokeball," he pointed to the red Pokeball on the right, "is for your Tyrogue. This Pokeball," he pointed to a mostly-white Premier Ball, "is for Sentouki, your Porygon."
The man nodded, and pointed to a map on one of the walls. "As you can see, there are three roads leading away from this lab, and you can take whichever one you want. Route 1, the one going east, will take you to the ice gym in Sapphire City. You will go up against Group 1 Pokemon along that route, but since your Tyrogue is young, I wouldn't recommend taking it yet. The second choice, Route 3, goes south to Florak Town. Botan, the gym leader there, has a grass gym, and the route and gym both use Group 2 Pokemon. Your third choice, Route 5, will take you up north to Sunstone Tunnel and the Settlement of Nga. This area is rich in Group 3 Pokemon, and my old friend Bahati, the steel-type gym leader of Nga, would be happy to fight you."
He then opened to door for Tommy to leave to the route of his choice. "I wish you luck on your journey, and don't forget to call to say how you're doing."

Personality: Calm, loyal, serious in battle, polite out of it...but a complete fashion freak. Always tells Tommy what to wear, what he SHOULD be wearing, and how he should better improve the appearances of her teammates. She always makes sure she looks good.

Nickname: Sentouki
Notes: Oooh...so shiny!
Item: Sitrus Berry
Ability: Trace: copies the opponent's ability during battle
Attacks: Psybeam, Recover, Tri Attack, Recycle
Personality: Mischevious, rowdy, hyper, prankster. It loves to...do...just that. Pranks. Tricks. Laugh at people. Always taunts or makes fun of its opponent, even if it knows it will lose.
