((Skate? I would just say her claws let her run on the ice without much of a problem. Raccoons have some major claw action goin' on. X3 ))
Seel groaned as the watching the tail move back and forth made him dizzy. He dove under the water, and it helped clear his head a bit...but not much. He returned to the surface as Arisa yelled for him to use an Aurora Beam, which had a longer range than Icy Wind, on Lotad. The multicolored beam soared through the air to land on the side of Lotad, knocking her off Lapras.
"<Thanks...>" Lapras said in a strained voice - she couldn't move. "<That stupid Lotad...it doesn't do much damage, but I can't move...>"

Hmm, I don't have any electric pokemon, which would really help right, now, but then again... wait, that's it, they're both water and ice, maybe there's something I can do right now, they're eachother's own weakness... Rain thinks and smiles a little. "Lotad, Kansai, new plan, don't attack at all, just start moving towards each other!"

((Last I checked, they both did 1/2 damage to each other. ^_^;;; ))
Arisa raised a blue-green eyebrow. "Okay...um...weird."
She thought for a moment, and saw where her Pokemon were.
If Seel takes a physical hit, he'll probably go down in a few turns...better keep him out of the way, she thought. Maybe if I hit one with the other...but what is she planning?
"'Pras! I want you to use Water Gun! Try and hit both of them!" She ordered, trying to think of a way to take advatange of Kansai and Lotad's close proximity.
Her out-of-water Pokemon nodded, and lifted her head back to gather water. She then forced it out in a torrent heading toward Kansai, hoping that the runoff would hit the Lotad.

(Water attacks are strong against ice pokemon, I checked.)
Here it comes, Rain thinks. "Alright, both of you, duck now!" Rain commands, and while some of the water does brush along the two pokemon, damaging them a little, the brunt of the attack is going in a straight line towards the pool of water. "Now Lotad, go ahead of it and use Astonish on that Seel!"
(I figure that the Astonish attack will get the Seel out of the water.)

((I'd figure the Astonish would just make it sink. @_@ And according to Psypokes, Water does normal damage to Ice, and Ice does 1/2 damage to Water. But oh well, you've done a page...I'll be nice. X3 Just remember, kiddies, mammals have to be careful underwater.))
Seel dove just as the Astonish hit him, paralyzing him underwater. The Astonish knocked the wind out of him, and the flinching didn't allow him to move back up to the water. He was drowning...
"<Arisa!>" Lapras shouted, as she had a better view of the pool.
Arisa swore, and grabbed Seel's Pokeball. The referee nodded, and raised a flag. "Battle suspended," he stated as Arisa rushed over to the pool's edge.
Luckily, the beam went through the water just fine, and Arisa returned Seel before he suffered any effects of oxygen deprivation.
The screen which displayed the status of the battle dinged as Seel was listed as "defeated."
The man raised a flag in Rain's direction. "Seel is rendered unable to battle, Rain Skylark wins the round."
Arisa strode back over to her side of the arena, and grabbed her last Pokeball. "Alright...Xi-Xi! Get out there!"
A human-like Pokemon danced out onto the battlefield, swaying her hips in time to a silent music in her mind. The referee raised both flags and shouted, "battle resumed!"
Arisa focused. Jynx had more powerful attacks... "Xi-Xi! I want you to use Psychic on Zigzagoon! You too, Lapras! Water Gun! I want that thing out of the arena!"

Just as the attacks are about to hit... "Kansai return, and here's a gal you might remember, go Hera!" Rain shouts, and as the pokemon is returned, out comes her Torchic. "Now Hera use ember on Jynx, while Lotad uses Astonish on Lapras!"

((I'm assuming that Hera got hit with the attack that should have hit Kansai.
Oh, and to keep you from Mary Sue-ing the entire thing...at least one (if not two) of your Pokemon should probably get knocked out during battle...Hera would seem like a likely target, since she's going to get ganged up on. X3 ))
Jynx howled as the flames licked her hair, weakening her greatly. Glaring at the chick, she growled, "<Alright, 'Pras, we're bringing this thing down.>"
"<With pleasure,>" her friend sneered, releasing a torrent of water upon Hera. Jynx, meanwhile, focused her thoughts into a psychic energy, which she then blasted into a Psychic barrage on Hera's mind and body.
Lotad, meanwhile, mumbled, "<hey, they're ignoring me,>" before jumping at Lapras' tail. She bit down, but failed to cause Lapras to flinch...and was instead knocked into the ground with a simple tail-flick. On her back, breathing deeply, Lotad groaned. "<Rain,>" she called in an annoyed voice. "<I think they're wise to the Astonish trick. If they move while I bite them, they don't flinch. Can I please switch to a different attack now?>"

(I thought that if the pokemon was switched, the attack would fail, but fine.)
"Good idea, use Absorb on that Lapras!" Rain says. "Hera, use your ember attack again on that Jynx, if we can beat it, the attack won't be as effective, in theory."

Arisa blinked. "What attack do you mean?" She wondered. "If you beat my Jynx, all of her attacks will be uneffective...because she won't be able to fight. You're a pretty weird non-dragon-using dragon trainer."
Lapras growled as Lotad jumped up and bit down on one of her flippers, sucking out some health. Smacking the Pokemon into the floor, she tried to shake her off...but the duckbilled Pokemon was wise to that trick as well. She let go, and jumped away from the floor, scampering over the non-icy part of the floor away from the larger Pokemon.
Arisa nodded. "That Lotad isn't doing much...'Pras, just be aware of where she is, and you'll be fine. Meanwhile, I want you two to do the same two attacks on the torchic. See if you can't shove her into the pool, if you do, she'll go down right away."
Jynx focused her mind again, using something akin to psychic vectors to pull Hera towards her (and the pool). She focused her attack on just hurting Hera's mind, where it wouldn't do much physical damage, but pull her toward the pool.
Meanwhile, Lapras, blew another Water Gun, this time from an angle, attempting to push Hera toward the pool while doing a large amount of damage.
((Wheee, group beat up...))

(How the heck am I supposed to win this?)
"Lotad, use growl, Hera, try another ember attack, and then duck!" Rain commands, and Hera uses ember attack, and ducks as the water gun passes over her, which does hit her just slightly, but again, keeps going towards the Lapras' partner, this time Jynx.
(Gotta cross my fingers on this one.)

Jynx dodged quite easily, swaying her hips to make it look choreographed. She focused, and was able to escape the effects of Growl.
Lapras wasn't quite so lucky, moaned as the awful sound entered her ears. "<Stupid lotad...>"
"You should know that rarely works," Arisa drawled with a flip of her long hair. "Xi-Xi is powerful and smart, she won't get hit with a measely runoff-Water Gun from my own Lapras. And 'Pras' attacks aren't affected by Growl...alright, same thing! I want that horrid fire-type off my battlefield! Psychic and Water Gun!"
Jynx held out her hands, and focused on stopping Hera's mobility. The other Pokemon bowed her head, and sent a low-running stream of water at the torchic, eliminating the tactic of ducking.
Lotad paused, thinking. Hera's going to go down soon. That'll bring our side down to two, matching hers. Um...what can I do...oh!
She then got up and scampered by Lapras and Jynx, both of whom ignored her and focused on Hera. She reached Rain, and began to whisper a possible course of action. "<Rain!>" She hissed, trying to keep Arisa or her Pokemon from overhearing. "<I have an idea! Let Hera lose, it's inevitable. What you need to do is trick Lapras into going into the pool. They're trying to knock her in anyway...if Hera stands at a part around the edge where Lapras is, Lapras might push her in with her own body. I can handle fighting in that water, I can swim and move around much faster, if I need to. If we can get Lapras out of commission, we can try pushing Jynx in. I think the answer lies with the pool.>"

Rain wasn't sure, doing so would put Hera at great risk, and she didn't like putting her pokemon at risk, but she had no choice at the moment, everything else had failed. "Hera, move to the edge of the pool facing Lapras..." she says, trying not to waver.
(Uhh, what do I do with Lotad?)

((Use Astonish on Jynx. It should do more. And if you haven't already, check the giveaway thread. You have both luck and a good number...))
Arisa grinned. "Idiot! Xi-Xi and 'Pras! You guys know what to do!"
Smirking, Lapras, who happened to be next to the pool, drawled, "<Why bother?>"
She shoved herself against Hera, pushing both herself and the chick into the water.
Jynx, meanwhile, hadn't noticed Lotad sneaking up behind her. "<Gragh!>" She wailed as the small Pokemon bit down on her hand. This time, Astonish did a bit of damage...as well as keeping the other Pokemon from moving.
((You can scratch the idea of Lotad trying to beat Lapras in the water - you've got a Thunderbolting Kansai now. Though I'd still try to do the same thing for Jynx, if she doesn't tire out in a good amount of time.))

"Hera, I'm sorry, return. Time for round two, go Kansai!" Rain says, and recalls the Pokemon, at the same time letting out her Zigzagoon again, Rain, in a discreet manner, had taken the oppertunity to use a TM on the pokemon. "Now use your Thunderbolt attack on that Lapras, Kansai, Lotad, use another Astonish on Jynx!"

As Kansai's electricity coursed through the entire pool, Lapras screamed. Kansai's attack, while weak on it's own, gathered power by reaching every part of her body while keeping its power constant.
Arisa frowned as she returned her unconscious Lapras, nodding. "I see you learned something from your previous battle. Dragons and fire-types will only get you so far. Remember this battle, okay, kid? I've beaten Corwin more times than I can count with the Pokemon your zigzagoon and lotad just brought down," she lectured.
She glanced at her remaining Pokemon, Jynx. Jynx was able to keep from flinching and looked to Arisa for a battle plan. "<We're outnumbered, it seems,>" she noted.
"<Hahah!>" Lotad giggled, proud that part of her plan worked.
"<Shut up,>" her foe snapped. "<Arisa, should I use our Last Resort plan?>"
Arisa waved her hand carelessly. "Yeah, sure, go for it."
The dancer nodded, looking at Lotad. She lifted her hands, concentrating her psychic vectors as up. Lotad's expression grew wary as she felt herself being lifted into the air and her mind clouding.
"<RRRRRAGH!>" Jynx grunted, throwing Lotad towards Kansai.
"<AAAAAAAAAAAAH!>" Lotad screamed as she flew through the air toward her teammate. "<WATCH OUT!>"

The attack hits Kansai, but she manages to recover long enough to use a tail whip attack on Jynx. "Lotad, if you can, please use Absorb!"

"<Absorb on an ice type...riiiiight...>" Lotad mumbled sarcastically before jumping at Jynx. The said psychic dancer, who recovered from the Tail Whip, held out her arm so that the oncoming Pokemon wouldn't hit anything vital. She bit down, but didn't cause much damage or recover much health.
"Psychic! She's at a close range!" Arisa shouted, seizing the opportunity to use one of Rain's Pokemon's attacks against them.
It took her a little while to focus (she was getting tired), but she pulled her mind together, and blasted Lotad.
Screaming in agony, the lily-pad-headed Pokemon fell to the floor, a crumpled heap, and Jynx kicked her when she didn't get up right away. She limped over to Rain, mumbling about stupid psychic Pokemon and having a headache.

"Sorry Lotad," Rain says. Kansai on the other hand had used this chance to move behind Jynx, and use a tackle attack.
(You suggested we get that thing in the pool, well lets do this then!)

((Jynx wasn't facing the pool...Jynx still has a few posts left in her, I'd say. Gym battles shouldn't be short...-_-))
Luckily, Jynx was facing away from the pool, and was merely knocked forward. However, it knocked the wind out of her, and she struggled to get up again. She glared at the Zigzagoon, who went behind her...and dangerously near the pool.
"<Stupid...raccoon...>" Turning her Psychic attack vectors to forward, hoping to push that infernal furry thing into the icy waters.

(In that case, neither was Kansai.)
"Lets use another Tail Whip!" Rain says, as Kansai is pushed a little bit, but not towards the water.
