PokettOnline -- A virtual reality Pokemon game.

[Yuri]

An online virtual reality game was finally introduced after lots of good response Pokémon received from all the Pokémon games, this new game that was introduced was called PokettOnline. Standing for Poketto-online, which means 'online pocket'. And soon, like the other Pokémon games -- This too became very popular and well-known all over. People from all over the world started playing it and it eventually created a big hype.


Now the game is simple, you join, make a character (customize him/her however you want to) and then choose your one and only Pokémon that you would use throughout the entire game. Unlike the usual games, you don't give commands to your Pokémon to fight, oh no. This time it's different. Usually, the Pokémon you choose are very miniature, the size of an average human-hand. They have wings (If the ones who didn't have already.) and they prefer to fly around their trainers instead of being captivated in a Pokeball. In this game, they're known as 'PokeSprites'. Each of them having their own distinctive personalities and taste – Which is totally random.


Usually, when you're about to go to a battle your PokeSprite fuses with you and you become a PokeDemon. Instead of the usual Pokemorphs, you don't get Pikachu ears and a thunder-shaped tail, your character's features just get altered with the Pokémon’s. And yeah, their powers are also transfer on to you during the fuse and you're the one that fights other PokeDemon in this world.


What do you actually do in PokettOnline? You just explore the online world, play around various side quests and meet up and battle with lots of various other people online. Be aware though, some players tend to make fun and kill off newbie players.


Although, even with all the success of the game, nowadays there has been a rumor going on about.


A rumor about how people log in, but.



They can't log out.

Yuri’s quite gullible and naive. He’s not really exposed to the ‘real world’ and he has a good life, so he’s not worried or sad about anything. He’s quite childish and at times does act immature, the complete opposite of what an almost teenager is suppose to act like – Atleast that’s what his parents tell him all the time. He’s quite stubborn and when angered, he’s pretty scary. Yuri doesn’t back down when given a challenge and he likes to win at everything.

Yuri has messy auburn hair that spike up at all direction randomly and he has a few bangs hanging down from his forehead. He has a pale complexion with gray eyes. Yuri stands out an average height, and he’s quite skinny. You would usually see him in some loose quarter-pants, a hoody, and some boots. In his PokeDemon form, he has long red hair that goes up till his shoulders and lots of big spikes that stand up straight from behind. He had golden eyes with dark eyelashes, and has those tiny Croconaw fangs. He has various cream-blue spots in his chest and all over his body.

Vincent is the kind of guy who people know has a goal in mind, but they're afraid to ask what it is. He's always occupied with something, usually something involving the server. There have been a number of modifications to his character, namely the semi-transparent screen and keyboard that he can seemingly summon at will. When things get dull, he tends to use this ghostly computer. He doesn't like to speak of his goals or about himself. In fact, no one is even sure if any of the information on his account is true. The only thing one knows for sure is that he intends to do something, and it most likely won't be good. He prefers to work alone and if he absolutly has to work with others, odds are he'll do to them whatever he sees fit, be it using them as live bait or leaving them to die.

Vincent has long white hair that reaches about the top of his shoulder blades. He wears an outfit consisting of a black hooded jacket with the sleeves torn off at the shoulders and a pair of denim jeans. His jacket has two pins, one, a skull and one modeled after Gengar. His PokeDemon form alters his body in a few simple ways. His entire body becomes made of a strange substance that allows him to easily slip through any one's grasp while keeping his form. He can also expant himself to a certain limit. His body gains a black tint and he gains a visible purple, gaseous aura. His tongue becomes abnormally long, not so much so as a Lickitung, but still long. His hair turns to a black-violet mix and is lifted slightly.

[ Yeah, whatever. Let's just go ahead since we're probably the only ones active.. ;O ]



Yuri flew and came in contact with the surface at a distance as he was pounded away by a girl with large bubbly blue eyes. She was short and carried a tubby face with wavy cotton candy colored hair that reached till her waist. The girl obviously had a Jigglypuff for her PokeSprite.


The dark haired boy got up and wiped the dust off his pants, cursing the girl under his breath. The girl gave a smirk and decided to stick her tongue out in a teasing fashion. Yuri groaned. Annoying Jigglypuff person. He too stuck his tongue out in return and then quickly stood in his fighting stance for his next move.


Both of them were currently at a dungeon, looking for treasure chests that contained various items. Usually people visited the dungeons to find rare items that are packed in a treasure chests, finish quests that they might have encountered, and fight other people to become stronger. Everything was going well until both of these players set their eyes on the same treasure chest and started claiming it's theirs. And yeah, that's basically how the battle started.


Yuri narrowed his eyes and ran towards 'Loli', the girl with Jigglypuff as her PokeSprite and did a Water Gun attack. A blast of water erupted from his mouth, his sharp fangs glistening as his mouth sprayed at the girl.

[Ukesagi-tan]

A man chuckled to himself as he easily sneaked past the two. He did have a Gastly PokeSprite for nothing... He'd set his eyes on his own goal, and hoped his luck would hold true. "Three parts down..."

He kicked the chest, causing it to pop open and reveal the treasures inside. "Gloves... Boots... Some Potions..." He read through an imaginary list as he tossed the items out, inadvertently causing a bit of a scene. "Not here, either..."

[Yuri]

It was now the pink haired girl's turn to be smashed to the ground at a distance. Loli got up, clenching her teeth as she wiped the water and the dust from her mouth.


"That’s it! You asked for it, Water-boy."


She immediately started bloating her cheeks to begin her Sing Attack but stopped because she noticed the treasure chest opening itself? Wait, was this Yuri person doing this. But no, he wasn't a telekinetic PokeDemon.



Then...?



"Yuri! Look behind! I think someone is stealing the item in the treasure chest!"


The red-head immediately turned around. " -- Whaaa?" He didn’t get what was going on, the young boy started shooting Water Guns aimlessly hoping it would hit the target. That sneaky person. Trying to steal the items Yuri deserved.

[Ukesagi-tan]

"Relax, guys..." He rose from his position, kicking the items to the side. "They're all worthless to me except the potions. I'd suggest leaving it alone, though, Croc," he commented as he flicked Yuri's nose. "These items are restricted to Oddish-family PokeSprites. Might fetch a nice price if that's what you're after, though."

He gestured to the items on the ground. "Your's to take, if you want 'em."

[Yuri]

Yuri pouted. He didn't like his nose flicked.


Yuri nodded and took all the items that the white-haired person offered, forgetting about the girl behind him. He could probably sell them and get some gold. His PokeDemon form vanished automatically and was replaced by his normal form. His Croconaw became a PokeSprite and decided to fly around and circle his Trainer's head. Yuri had become annoyed whenever his PokeSprite had done in the past but he eventually got used to it.


Yuri looked back to share some items with the girl but he found nothing. It was like she teleported or something.


"..."


Oh well. More items for him.


"Soo~ You a treasure hunter?" Yuri asked as he turned to look back at the boy. Yuri checked his username.


Vincent.

[Ukesagi-tan]

"More or less." A screen appeared from nowhere. "Yo Zard. You gave me bad info, man. I'm starting to doubt your sources. Three out of ten isn't good. You've got one more chance before you're deleted."

A voice came from the small screen, accompanied by the image of a charizard-like face. "Vince, man. Can't you pick better times for these things? I'm under attack here!"

"Zard, you're ranked Elite. Just wipe 'em!" Vincent appeared to be growing more and more aggravated as his conversation drew on.

"I tried that, they're Elites, too. But they're all Water. Warp the Thunder and I can probably handle 'em."

Vince held a stone with a lightning-shaped mark on it. "Thunderstone transfer." He shoved it into the screen and it disappeared. "Now handle 'em, get back to town, and give me some good info on the Dusk."

"Alright, boss." Zard's face disappeared from the screen.

The screen followed suit shortly after as Vince turned his attention to Yuri. "Report me and I'll delete you." A rope dropped from the ceiling of the dungeon. "You're in it now. Thunder server, Cerulean. Remember it." He grabbed the rope and disappeared from the dungeon.

[Yuri]

Yuri just stared blankly as the boy teleported himself somewhere else. Yuri must get those rope thingies later on. Honestly, Yuri didn't even get a single world of what the person said. Well, except for the last bit when he mentioned the Thunder server, Cerulean. So he guessed that’s where his next destination was. He was bored anyway!


"Alright!"


Yuri happily made his way to the Thunder server after he found one of the teleporting orbs. Croconaw bit Yuri's left ear and clanged onto him, he was really scared of the orb. Yuri yelped in pain but ignored the PokeSprite. Maybe he should have chosen a PokeSprite with not-so huge jaw.


He went ahead in the Orb and picked his destination: Thunder Server, Cerulean. The orb glowed and it teleported him to another orb in the Thunder Server. Yuri also noticed that the orb cured his lost HP from the battle earlier and he wondered where that pink haired girl had gone off to.


"Let's seee~" Yuri said to his Croconaw who was still clinging to his ear. "Now, where could that weird person be?" Yuri just stood beside the orb, looking around.

[Ukesagi-tan]

Vince was... A tad preoccupied. He had an orange-skinned man slammed up against a building for some reason or another. "Listen up, Zard. This is your last chance. You saw what I did to Tori and Ura, right?"

"Y-yeah, boss. Don't you think you're a little rough, though?" The man, apparently named Zard, seemed about ready to wet his pants.

"Listen up, we've got Fire, Leaf, Thunder, and Water. We need that Moon," Vince growled, the purple aura now surrounding him grew larger.

"Right, boss," Zard was just getting more and more freaked out as time passed. "I overheard some people talking. They said that Jigglypuff and Clefairy Sprites are actin' funky around the Mt. Silver area here on Thunder server."

Vince threw the man aside, sending him past Yuri. "You better be right." His aura was now spreading off into various tendrils. "Or you'll be deleted and I'll personally run the code to seal you off." As he turned to head off, his aura disappeared. "Stick close and don't ask what I'm doing." He was obviously talking to Yuri. The only other person there was about to wet himself.

[Yuri]

Yuri's eyes widened as he saw a person thrown away like yesterday's laundry right before him. He then turned his attention to the other person who's expression wasn't so great and then looked back at the Vince person. Yuri pouted and crossed his arms. Was he some kind of bully or a player killer or something!?

He was probably up to no good. That's it. Yuri opened his mouth to retaliate. "He -- "


"Stick close and don't ask what I'm doing."


.. Nevermind. Yuri just sighed and decided to follow the boy. He hummed and did a little dance as he did so. He’ll just question him after he finds out what’s going on.

"As you can see, my name is Vincent. That was Zard, he's not a player." He rounded a corner quickly, looking back to see if anyone besides Yuri was following. "I'm what you might call a rare treasure hunter... Specifically, extra code." Another corner rounded. "I look for completed bits of code that were put in, but inaccessible."

Another corner and another look back. "If they found out I knew how to access these things, it wouldn't be pretty. Not for me or anyone I know." A floating orb appeared around the next corner. "You've probably heard about the Bad Egg code. The system admins use it to freeze accounts by turning the PokeSprite into an egg. No one can get around it, so even if you manage to get back into your account after it's locked, you still can't play." He turned to the orb. "Thunder server, Mt. Silver," he stated just before warping off.
