((Okay, so I know it's been just under a year since the last broadcast, but real time =/= plot time! So in the Jentan world, it was 'bout a week or two weeks, 'kay?))
Lydia: Good evening, Jenta! This is Lydia, broadcasting to you live from our stations in Sapphire City. This special report is due to the fact that, after days of waiting, we have received another letter from the missing trainer, Hamako Yamamura! Here to read it to you all is her shuckle, Iwaou, and hopefully demystify some of the puzzling words she used.
Iwaou: <Alright, here is the letter from my trainer. It's written on really crumpled paper that looks like it was sort of wet, as if she was crying. I think she's been under a lot of stress - I mean, more-so than just being kidnapped. She doesn't give very much explicit information, but I hope some of it helps bring her back to me and Mushiko. Anyway, here is what it says; it's pretty short:
Dear Mui,
I'm so sorry about not sending you anything before. I know you must be worried about your friend, but we're fine. I got over my flu, and I'm doing quite well considering everything that's going on.
Vael and I started talking again. This only happened, however, after Zahir came back from shopping with him. Oh, and he came back with hair dye, and Zhilan immediately got to changing my hair. First she cut it real short, like just below my chin. It's not "boy short" or anything, but it's a lot shorter than it was. Then she smeared the hair dye all over my head, and put tin foil or something on it. I had to sit awhile, and then Vael looked at me with a funny look in his eye. He didn't say anything, but then he started laughing. After awhile, Zhilan took the foil off, and ran my hair through water, then dried it off.
And then she gave me a mirror, and I looked at my hair. It's sort of purple-red now - magenta, maybe? Dark, I guess. It looks really different. Then Vael told me I looked like a freak.
Oh well, I guess it's something. We talk more now, anyway, but not much.
Um, then some stuff happened...Zahir took me to a place I can't talk to you about. It was near where a lot of normal people go, though. I got really sick from what I saw there - I didn't have the flu, either.
There were a lot of dead bodies there. "Lab rabbits". (I hope you understand that.) They "failed".
It was horrible. They barely looked like how they used to. There were ones that were still alive, but I didn't see them. Zahir took me out because I got sick.
Please remember this. It's important. There was a battle I used you in. We drank water after youwon.
I love you so much. I'm so sorry - if anything else happens, more stuff I can't tell you about, I'm so sorry.
Your trainer,
Hama -
She didn't finish writing her name - I think she was rushed to send the letter. The abra that brought her said she was in a rush.>
Lydia: Yes, the letter has some potentially disturbing information. If anyone has any information at all about this trainer, remember to call the missing trainers hotline or the police. Tune in later for a more in-depth deciphering of the letter and it's cryptic clues.
