Ash Forest
Basic Summary: After a quick jaunt past the grasslands surrounding Lake Ylpa, you circle around to find yourself back at the bottom of the volcano?! Here an ash covered forest has sprung up at the base of the volcano, and meandering up the other mountain, Kuriblitz. The ashy forest has quite a few bug-types, ground-types, and ghost-types - as well as other Pokemon who can tolerate the ash. The trees look rather peculiar, on account of the strange environment for the forest (which grows well, even though it gets hit by "ashen rain").
Environment: Well...it's an ashen forest, of course! The trees are not particularly tall, and the forest itself is relatively thin due to the trees needing a lot of space to gather nutrients, but the falling ash can still obscure your vision somewhat. Don't worry, though - the path is very easy to follow. Also, the air is quite dry, so it's a good place to practice attacks that don't require water. Even so, fire attacks are hard to use on account of the ash smothering flames and covering burnable material.
Trainers: There are a few scattered trainers on their way between El Dueg and Firefly Village, so you'll see a range of Pokemon. Primarily, however, you'll see Firefly students training if you see anyone at all - they're always happy for a practice battle, though!
Pokemon:
Level range: 19 - 25
Types found: Grass, water, normal, flying, dark

- Burmy (sandy cloak version)
- Spinarak

Rare: (1/20 chance of seeing)
