Fog Path:
Fog Path is a seaside footpath along the coastal cliffs in the south. Fog Path goes along the south coast of the island, taking you from Coast Village (on the southwest corner of the island) east towards the beach house settlement closer to the eastern edge of the island.
The path itself is almost always enshrouded in a thick ocean fog, with the exception of around noon-to-one-ish to three-to-four-ish in the afternoon (it varies on weather, though). Sometimes it gets heavy rain, but usally it sort of mists. The visibility on the route averages from two meters in front to twenty meters in front (when the fog is set). There is a thick railing keeping you far away from the cliff face, and the path itself is far enough away to begin with (so no worries - you won't be falling to your death any time soon).
The standard groundcover is seaside moss, small plants such as pickleweed, and bare (wet) rock. Please stay on the footpath, which is "paved" with sandy tanbark, since it's less slippery. There are redwood forests in the distance to the north, but you can't really get there.

Pokemon:
Mostly wingull, but you'll see quite a few other small grass-types and water-types. There are a few scattered, hardy normal-types as well.
The level range is 3 - 12.
Common: (50% of the time)
Wingull (1-50)
Uncommon: (10% of the time for each pokemon)
Paras (51-60)
Seedot (61-70)
Wooper (71-80)
Krabby (81-90)
Rare: (5% of the time, each)
Rattata (91-95)
Spearow (96-100)
People:
Most of the people on this route are people walking to Coast Village from the beach, or vice versa; however, you will rarely (if ever) get challenged to a battle. Since it's such a well-traveled route for young, usually foreign trainers (with money), some people wait along the side of the path to sell things. Luckily, there are very few pickpockets, since it's hard to get away with things in such an open area. There might be a scammer or two on the side of the road, but you should feel pretty safe. Just be wary of the prices, as sometimes they get marked sort of high to compensate for the region's failing economy.
The offered goods usually change pretty often, as the sellers sort of come and go during the day and the week.
Current "shops":
Pokeballs
- Price: 500 pyen for two
- Location: around fifty meters from Coast Village
Potions
- Price: 400 pyen each
- Location: midway to the ropes
Bidoof (level 7)
- Price: 750 pyen each (you provide the Pokeball)
- Location: around ten meters past the woman selling potions
