Coast Village:
Mostly just a ramshackle group of shacks along a rocky cliff coast. There are tall redwood trees scattered around the town, and the town itself only has one cleared path out of it - Fog Path. Why don't you see if you can get yourself a Pokemon before you leave?
Professor Kauri's house:
Agatha Kauri owns the largest house in Coast Village, where she runs the Miteinjan starter program. Unfortunately, she only gets about 10 or fewer Pokemon at a time - they're either what she can scrape up from around the region, or get as a donation from mainland Jenta. She usually has some water- or grass-types, but other than that, you really just have to check. She also gives you 5000 pyen and a status checker (they don't have Pokedexes) when you start.
Current starters:
Total: 7
Geodude: 2 (2 female)
Ponyta: 1 (1 male)
Lotad: 1 (1 female)
Snorunt: 1 (1 male)
Wurmple: 2 (1 female, 1 male)
Also...
If you'd like, you can ask her to see if she can find one more starter. On most days, there are other scientists and breeders she can easily call up to see if they have an extra level 5 Pokemon to contribute to the choices. Keep in mind that you only get one more Pokemon added to the list, and it's completely random.
Coast Village Bank:
Another large house, but this one houses your things. If you have more than six Pokemon, they go here. If you need to put some items in your PC, they come here to your safety deposit box. If you have money on your account, the real bills are here. You may come here to check it out - sometimes you walk away with something.
Storage shed:
The shed right next to the entrace to Fog Path. There's usually an elderly woman sitting by it, asking if you'd like a free item. Nobody knows exactly how she gets all her items, but maybe you should get one before you leave?
Breeding center:
One scientist studies nincada and how they breed. They kill two birds with one stone by selling some of them off to trainers - they make some money and can study them in different environments (the nincada are all chipped). Would you like to buy one? They're certified breeders, so nothing to worry about.
Nincada
Gender: either
Level: 5
Price: 2000 pyen
Adoption center:
One of the shacks, owned by a middle-aged husband of a middle-aged scientist, houses an adoption center for Pokemon found around the village who can't stay in the wild (but can go with a trainer). Maybe you'd like to buy one? They usually have two or three on them at any time.
Current adoptable Pokemon:
Plusle
Gender: female
Level: 4
Notes: She accidentally overpowered her electricity glands when she got tangled in some power lines (nobody knows how she got there). She is still a bit slow from the shock, and has a bit of a speech impediment.
Personality: Nice, calm, but a bit of a space case.
Price: 1250 pyen
Ralts
Gender: female
Level: 8
Notes: She was found muttering to herself on the border of town with no clue as to where she was. She claims to be from Hoenn, and nobody is sure how she ended up in Coast Village. Suffers from mild schizophrenia and panic attacks.
Personality: Pleasant but often disoriented, prone to panicking under pressure, hears voices (should be monitored for violence)
Price: 1750 pyen
