((This is basically a travel-through-the-cities-in-Hoenn-and-get-badges RP, with no real plot...unless I feel like it, or something. Just a way to...well, RP.
There are a couple rules for this...one, you may use any character, approved or not. However, any and all Pokemon you catch here do not affect your Jenta character.
Second, no godmoding. That's obvious...just...don't do it.
Third, your character will be starting with wherever the group is. Please adjust levels accordingly. However, no matter where you are, your character cannot start out with more than three Pokemon. It has to be one, two, or three. No more, no less (obviously). They do not have to include a Hoenn starter.
Fourth...post a mini bio of your character on your first post. It must have the character's name, age, and hometown, and post what Pokemon they have along with each Pokemon's species, gender, level, and nickname (if they have one).
So...please join the pack and travel through the Hoenn cities!))

Asako smiled as she exited Littleroot Town, the wind playing with her dark blue hair. She had gotten the Torchic she wanted...
She blushed as she remembered what she named it...Kentaro. Why in Mew's name had she done that? If Ken found out that she NAMED her first Pokemon after him (after making sure she got the fire type to match his fire type)...ugh, that would be embarrassing.
Opening the Pokeball, she squatted down. "Hello there, Kentaro."
The Torchic looked at her, and peeped happily.
"Ready to travel?" After she got an affirmative answer, she stood up, and stepped into the tall grass, Kentaro behind her. "Hey, Kentaro...I wonder if we'll meet up with any other trainers," Asako mused, half to Kentaro, half to herself.

Deus left Littleroot not even two minutes after Asako, a Growlithe at his side.
"Well, boy, looks like we're finally gonna see Hoenn." he said, looking down at Flame. "Can't wait to tell the others back home what we see."
He grinned and walked off into the tall grass, Flame right behind him.
"Can't wait to show Blaine all the fire Pokèmon I catch here..." he said to himself. "I might even be a better fire Pokèmon trainer than him..."

Kentaro peeped, glancing behind Asako.
"Wha-" Asako began before she saw a boy and a Growlithe come up to her. "Oh...hi. You like fire types also?" The blue-haired girl asked, glancing down at his Growlithe. "They don't live in Hoenn...where are you from?"
Her Torchic peeped, a little miffed.
Asako smiled a bit. "This is Kentaro, by the way. I just got him from Professor Birch...it's really sad, I've never had a Pokemon before, even though I've lived in Violet City for a little while. I never even got a Plusle, or even a Minun or anything when I lived in Fiore."

Asako blinked, then thought for a moment. "Do you have a Pokedex? If so, I could just simply trade you Kentaro for a moment, then trade back. We could do the same thing for me, so that I could get all of your Pokemon. Or you could take a picture..."
Kentaro just shrugged.

Asako blinked. "Oh, okay." Inwardly, she wondered why he didn't just add Kentaro right then and there, but she didn't voice her opinions. "I guess you could take a picture, or something..."
Kentaro peeped, then ran ahead.
"Right...we should go, huh?" She started to walk forward. "Does this mean we're traveling together?"

Asako raised one eyebrow. "Uh, yeah..."
Kentaro snickered, almost falling over...
And slamming right into an angry Wurmple.
He peeped warily, then rather angrily when the Wurmple collided with him in a ferocious Tackle.
Asako blinked, then realized this was, in fact, a Pokemon battle. "Kentaro, use Scratch!"
The Torchic nodded, lunging at the Wurmple and brandishing his talons. He sliced down on the bug, luckily doing a critical amount of damage because of his angle.
His movements slowed as his adversary shot a large amount of sticky string at him, but one more Scratch (ordered up by his trainer) brought the Wurmple down.
The girl smiled softly. She had defeated similar Pokemon before at school, but never with her own Pokemon, and certainly never on an adventure.
Triumphantly, Asako grabbed one of her empty Pokeballs. "Now I'll catch-" Unfortunately, another Wurmple came along, angry at Asako, and dragged the unconscious Wurmple away by a rope of string. Kentaro peeped angrily, threatening the already-gone Wurmple. "It's okay, Kentaro." Asako mumbled sadly. "There are better Pokemon to catch."

Admitted. It was late for a nineteen year old to start off on a 'great pokémon journey', but Tyler didn't really care. It was really just a new start, off in another league. To get away from Team Rocket and all (They really were an annoying bunch, at times), but he hadn't been able to just bring his old team. Nooo...Because he wanted to start in Oldale Town, where he had some relatives. To get there, though, he had to go through Littleroot. Because Oldale was convientely not on the water.
He had, however, been able to bring a pokémon of his own choice. None of the water/grass/fire stuff for him. He'd stick with the good old electric-type. Just like always.
So he had Magnet, a pokemon he had just happened to capture with his own Magneton, Matre. However, Matre wasn't able to come with him. So Magnet had.
And there were absolutely no good electric pokémon in sight.

((Abra can't learn Confusion ever. However, you can breed 'em to learn all three of the elemental punches...I think you should pick one of them instead. I would recommend Fire or Ice to take care of Bug-types...and Ice to easily win against the first gym. Is that okay? Ice Punch? Upon evolution, which would probably be before the second gym, he would learn Confusion...))

Asako looked up as a boy walked up to her. She had long since lost her other traveling partners...but here was somebody new. With Kentaro at her heels, she walked up to him.
"Hello there," she greeted in a soft voice. "Are you a new trainer here as well?"

Looking at the girl with a torchic by her side Jay replied with "Yeah I am a new trainer and this is my pokemon Abra, sometimes I call him Flash because sometimes he is here and sometimes he is gone' as Flash then teleported to a nearby tree then coming back onto Jay's shoulder. 'Like that.' Jay replied.
"So What is your name? My name is Jay and I think I want to be an excellent Pokemon breeder and I learn by battling and taking mental notes.' Jay said as he didn't want to give to much away.

Asako smiled shyly, though her mind was a mess from Jay's rapid talking and thinking. "I'm Asako Fujiwara...I'm from Fall City, but I go to a boarding school in Violet City." She bowed in greeting, then pushed her blue hair back as she pointed to her new teammate. "This is Kentaro, my torchic. I just got him." Kentaro peeped in greeting, ruffling his feathers cutely.
She then walked along the route with Jay, every now and then pausing to battle a wurmple. After beating three or four, she sighed in frustration. "They always get carried away by another one before I can catch them!" She huffed as Kentaro rolled his eyes. He fought hard, yes, but he felt he could take any Pokemon...it's not like they NEEDED a dustox or beautifly to defeat the gym leaders!

Jay randomly sighed as he decided not to capture any pokemon. It was quite a sight as Abra had been using an Ice punch on the Wurmples. He had also been teleporting out of the way then using a Ice Punch on the stupid worm pokemon. 'I am a very picky trainer, I don't really take much pokemon unless I have a fetish over them'.

The defeating-of-the-Wurmples ended as soon as Kentaro noticed the town ahead. He peeped at his trainer, and she pointed at it.
"Oldale Town," she noted tersely. "Let's go."
They stepped into the town, and Asako headed for the Pokemon Center. After a quick healing of her torchic, she checked out the map. "It's due west to Petalburg City...then we need to head north-northwest to Rustboro City. There's the first gym there," she explained to anyone who was listening.
