General Lab Layout
The lab is made up of three rooms in a row, all connected by three inner doors. All the doors in the smashed lab are locked, but that doesn't matter much, as the doors connecting the rooms have been, well, smashed. There once was a spiral staircase leading up to the second floor, in the left most room, but that has been toppled, and now all that is left is a trap door in the ceiling which is probably locked. In every room there are also trap doors in the floor, which probably lead down to a basement, however they are locked, and even if they weren't, they have had machinery and equipment fall all over them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Left Room
This room is the furthest to the left of the three. The windows are high up, and the bars are bent and twisted while the glass is smashed. It appears that this used to be the research library. Book cases are overturned and splayed across the floor. Moldy books with their pages missing are tossed in uncaring piles, pick them up and they'll disintegrate in your hands.
The remains of an iron spiral staircase are lying all over the lab, ready to stick the unwary.
Near the windows the walls are stained mold green with water damage, and a few seedlings are trying to sprout through the floor boards.
Pokemon from group 3 may be found here. Proceed with caution, as they are a rough and rowdy bunch.
Pokemon
Electrode
Magneton
Raticate (warning: vicious)
Electabuzz (be warned, these guys are the worst when it comes to attacking you on sight)
Pupitar (RARE, you have to know where to find these guys)
Larvitar (Usually making nests under the bookshelves, and almost always grumpy)
Aron (RARE and low leveled, usually group 1 or 2, in fact. They come in to munch on the iron staircase)
Items
Well, that depends on how interested you are in moldy pieces of paper, but effectively none.
Unless you're interested in the above.

Center Room
This is where you will end up when you first come into the lab. It's a fairly open place, as the roof was stoved in here, and through the ceiling, and the roof, the sky can be seen. Funnily enough, for something that was caved in, the spars and plaster are all pointing at the sky, although this is probably nothing. Underneath this hole is a massive deposit of dirt, with grass growing from it.
Just beyond the dirt pile is the screen door out of the lab, but it's locked. How can you get out of here?
Behind the dirt pile are a few tables with former computers on them. A few have been overturned, and some more have been made into camps for the pokemon that roam the lab. The trapdoor to the basement here is slight visible, but another bookcase has fallen on it. However, this bookcase never held books, as there were divets for pokeballs in the shelves, and various types of pokeballs can be found rolling around the central room quite commonly.
Beyond that, and a couple of huge structures made of wire that have been warped past recognition there is nothing more.
All pokemon here are of group 1
Pokemon
Poochyena (they have lairs under the desks)
Cherubi (in the grass)
Hoppip (in the grass)
Elekid
Voltorb
Magnemite
Aron (often found chewing on the computers)
Rattata
Pidgey (up near the ceiling)
Spearow (up near the ceiling)
Items
Pokeballs
Greatballs
Ultraballs
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Right Room
This was obviously once a greenhouse. A sign on the wall says that they were testing the effects of acid rain, and how to heal the environment that was contaminated by pollution here. Sadly, it looks as if pollution got the upper hand.
The formerly neat rows of trestle tables have been knocked around, Pots have been knocked over, broken, and smashed. Please beware of the terracotta shards underfoot as you proceed in this room. And the dirt. And the mud. Which is green and orange in certain places. Yeah, beware of stepping on sleeping grimer, as well.
Plenty of odd seeds and berries do thrive in this muck, so be prepared to find some good stuff. Just don't annoy the koffing bobbing around by the roof, where the sprinkler system used to be.
All pokemon are in group 2.
Pokemon
Grimer
Deformed Sunkern
Koffing (near roof)
Weepinbell (hanging off the sprinkler system. These plants don't look very healthy, though)
Muk (Rare)
Items
TM - Bullet Seed (rare, you'll need help to find it)
Miracle Seed
Pecha Berry
Oran Berry (rare)
Sitrus Berry (common in acidic soil)
