The Rental Team Arena:
This arena, another standard indoor arena, is where any and all trainers can fight each other with randomly-assigned teams of rental Pokemon.
Rule 1: Godmoding = automatic loss
Moderators, unless they are challenged, will only check on these battles every once and awhile to make sure nobody is godmoding. So please be kind to your fellow member, and treat it as an actual battle between two normal trainers (unless it is set up differently with approval of a mod, or something). Failure to do so will result in an automatic loss.
Rule 2: The Battle Room is for BATTLES
Any logistics for the battles must be decided beforehand through PMs or in the main board of the Challenge Arena. Any boards here looking for challengers will be moved. Likewise, OOC comments should generally be shorter than the battle description...or, even better, moved to an OOC battle discussion thread in the main board.
Rule 3: Lack of a conspiracy theory
The teams are randomly assigned by a number generator. Unless they are otherwise planned (like having all Pokemon have a water type, or some other theme), the Pokemon are completely random. The mod (usually me) is not going to give you a team that will lose to your opponent on purpose. Likewise, don't complain about your teams. It is up to YOU AND ONLY YOU to think of a way to use them to overcome whatever obstacles they come with.
Rule 4: Any and all trainers means any and all trainers...within reason
You don't need to use your Jenta character for these battles, you can use any trainer as long as it's on THAT YOU DESIGN. So that means no use of canon characters, no use of Jenta NPCs, and ESPECIALLY no use of another person's character. Please post at least a sentence or two (or, better yet, a bio) of the character in the thread where you set up the logistics.
Rule 5: Prizes
As these are not Jenta RP team battles, the Pokemon you use don't gain any experience. However, you may still wager money and items that your Jenta characters have on the battle for prizes. No matter what, the loser of the battle receives a consolation prize of 250 pyen for their Jenta character, and the winner receives 500 pyen for their Jenta character.
