Zach pouted, wondering why he always ended up getting laughed at. Rockets, family members, complete strangers...And now pokemon. It just wasn't fair. Well, at least no one had called him a girl since the Rocket...That was a good thing, right?
Zach managed a smile at Bahati, nodding, "Yes, that's right. I would like to challenge you. I'm Zach." Mwenye...He'd remember that...Teach the Aggron a lesson...Huur would squish him.
To bad Huur didn't know Attract. That wouldv'e been funny, and Huur probably would have enjoyed it.

Bahati nodded, tapping her staff-slash-cane against the steel floor. Immediately, a young woman with long black hair, dark skin, brown eyes, and a similar shrine outfit appeared in the room. She held two flags, a green one pointing to Bahati, and a blue one pointing to Zach.
"Challenger Zach versus Gym Leader Bahati!" She shouted, her voice echoing from across the steel room. "This will be a three-on-three single battle. The challenger may switch Pokemon, but the gym leader may not. Earthquake is not allowed, nor are items. Challenger gets the first attack. Go!" And she swung down both flags.
Bahati peered over at Mwenye. "You're my lead, as usual," she stated.
Mwenye nodded, and stomped out onto the battlefield. He grinned at Zach. "<Ready when you are, kid.>"

Zach had the funniest urge to stick his tongue out at Mwenye, but of course he didn't. That just wasn't Zach. (Of course, neither was hugging complete strangers, but who could blame him?) "Well, I'll lead with Huur then." Tossing the pokeball into the air, the Aggron appeared, blinking as she looked at Mwenye.
Zach was fairly certain she had the advantage, except for the small fact she was still stumbling a little bit. She could overcome that easiliy enough by dropping to all four though, and it wouldn't harm her battle style.
"Okay, since I start...Try a metal sound, Huur!"
<Metal Sound...Okay.> She hadn't used that attack before. She didn't know why not, since it was so easy...How could she not have known how to use it? Although, come to think of it, she couldn't remember how to use Roar anymore...And that was just plain stupid.
Whoever created these rules was wierd.
Still, the high-pierced sound soon emanated from her, though she wasn't sure if it was her throat or her entire body doing it.

Mwenye growled as he covered his ears with his large hands. Such a horrible sound!
"Mwenye! Start our attacks of with an offensive. Use Iron Tail!" Bahati commanded, tapping her stick on the metal floor.
Her aggron rushed over to the opposing aggron, turning at the last moment. His tail whipped out, aiming to slam into Huur's side, or something.
Bahati didn't like how slow this battle seemed to go...she almost hoped Huur was one of those fire-attack-knowing aggron, so it would be interesting.

Huur grunted as the other Aggron's tail slammed into her side. He was bigger-but it still wasn't that much damage. It hurt, but it wasn't going to slow her down. Shaking her head, she tuned into Zach's voice as he shouted, "Mud slap, Huur!"
It was funny. The move itself, Zach had always thought of as a beginner move, something that should be replaced with oh...dig, or mud shot, or something. Still...When a level 50 Aggron used it, it was fairly interesting to watch.
Where the mud came from, Huur didn't know. She wasn't even sure if she was on dirt or steel anymore (she was too focused on the battle to pay much attention to the ground she was on) but she knew it wasn't mud. In any case, she twirled around, sweeping up an ample amount of mud and flinging it towards Mwenye with her tail.

Mwenye groaned as the dirty mud washed up against his rocky skin and armor, caking to him. It hurt badly, and got in his eyes! Growling, he rubbed them in a futile attempt to clear his vision. Distantly, he heard Bahati call for an Iron Tail...distantly? She should be near him...
"<Must be in my ears, too,>" he mumbled, wiping some mud off his mouth. Then he lunged, swinging his dully shining tail towards his fellow aggron. Of course, she had a super-effective move...

Zach grinned. The way this was planning out, two of her pokemon would be easy to get rid of, this one, and whichever one Singe fought. That left one to either Oakash or Rapheal...Neither one would have a true advantage. Well, he'd worry about that when he got to it.
"Use another mud slap Huur!" He pulled out his pokedex, going through it to figure out what exactly metal sound did. He had a vague idea (his brother had a magneton, after all) but he wasn't absolutely sure.
Huur stumbled back a few steps from the force of the blow, but again it wasn't like it was going to kill her. Pile a couple of those on top of each other and you have another story, but still...Stepping back with one foot, she swung her entire body foward as she stepped foward again, using mud slap without doing the stupid kirlia twirl.

Mwenye roared as the mud caked around his eyes, joints, and everywhere else. He slipped a bit on the wet dirt, sliding into a way-off-target Iron Tail. If he was lucky, maybe the tip of the tail grazed Huur's leg, or something...
Bahati stared solemnly at the battlefield. It would seem that her aggron was having an off-day...had it really been that long since he took a few Mud-Slaps? He was going crazy! She figured she should wait until he calmed down and could take some instructions, for even if she yelled, he probably wouldn't hear her.
And no sense straining your old voice if the one you needed to reach wouldn't listen, hm?

Huur actually laughed at that-Zach grinned. He'd forgotten mud slap sometimes lowered accuracy, but that was certiantly a bonus. "Huur! Use a metal sound, again!" He didn't want to try his luck with mud slap too much. He'd had plenty enough problems with his luck running out if he used a move over and over...Still...Stantler's stomp was just so...amusing...
Shaking his head, he tuned back in as Huur used the metal sound attack, seeming to vibrate with it. He still wasn't sure how the attack originated. He thought that maybe the steel of her body rubbed against each other in such a way as to create the piercing noise. Well, however it was done, he kind of liked the attack. Except for the headaches he recieved.

((And the fact that it lowers special defense rather than regular defense, and is therefore pretty useless with Hurr's moveset, unless you're switching out to a pokemon that knows a special attack. :[))
Mwenye growled, putting his enormous paws over his armored skull, as the sound reverberated through his body. It made his teeth grind together, as the plates of his armor vibrated in sympathetic harmonic, loosening and revealing more open patches on his rocky body. No physical attack could hurt him, not through his tough hide, but with so much exposed he was in danger from any water attack that might come his way.
Bahti was silent on her orders for now, and the aggron snorted through his face plate, wishing that she'd stop trying to figure things out, and start ordering him to attack. He hated playing the waiting game, as Bahti maneuvered her opponents like pieces on a mah-johng board.
"On all fours, Mwenye. Let's see how well this girl can handle sheer power," Bahto grinned, knowing that her older, male, aggron weighed more and was physically slightly stronger than his female counterpart, even though he was slower.
The gym shook as Mwenye settled onto his forelegs, and lowered his head. He grinned at Hurr, and then his back legs pushed off like pistons from the mud smeared steel tile that the was resting on, and he charged at Hurr, ready to take her down.

((So that's what it does! I thought that was it. XD Nehehehehe...I'm not too worried. If Huur doesn't make it, Singe will turn Mwenye into a crisp in no time. And I can always go train again if I lose.
You know, I've never lost a gym battle, on a site? Kind of funny, really. I lose them all the time on the games.))
Huur blinked, and groaned inwardly. Oh dear. This wasn't good at all. < Um...Zach? Now would be a goo- > She grunted, sliding backwards as Mwenye crashed into her, suddenly wishing she'd put on some weight. Wait...No! She liked being slender!
Ohh....But it hurt to be skinny...
Zach winced with Huur as she took the full force of the attack, but she was still up for the count. He'd have to remember to keep her moving. It was harder to hit a moving target after all, and she'd have a better chance of dodging. He hoped.
"Huur, use mud slap again-aim for his face! Then move away!"
Sooo....Huur did. Throwing mud towards Mwenye's face, she lumbered backwards and away from him, and off to the left.

Mwenye growled, skidding to a halt and wiping the mud from his eyes. However, the stupid stuff still stung...stupid mud! Bahati tapped her stick to the metal floor. "Try Iron Tail before she jumps away again." She wanted to see how well the slightly-arrogant Mwenye would deal with impaired vision...losing a Pokemon early in the match wasn't so much of a problem. She had Imamu, her psychic powerhouse, after all. Growling, he lunged forward, spinning on the not-muddy area more towards Zach. However, he overestimated the distance between him and Huur...and ended up spinning down a tunnel. Grumbling, he pulled himself out, muttering about stupid tunnel-builders and potholes. ((Blech. Spam-mod post. ))

Zach squeeked, then sighed in relief when it was apparant he wasn't going to become a human pancake, squished between Aggron and floor. That would not have been pleasant. In fact, it would have been decidedly unpleasant.
While Zach squeeked, Huur giggled, which was a most amusing sound when it came from a fiercesome Aggron. Huur dropped to all fours as well, in the next moment, although hers was just because of a rather cut-off "Headbutt" command from Zach. Who was busy trying not to laugh at Huur's laugh. The girly sound just didn't sound like it belonged to her.
Taking a lesson from Mwenye, she kept an eye out for tunnels and other such traps. She had the advantage of being able to see clearly, which certiantly improved her success.

Mwenye gave a disgruntled "<oof!>" as Huur slammed into him...which didn't hurt a whole lot, on account of the 4x resistance to normal-type attacks...
But why'd she have to hit him (IN THE STOMACH) just as he was clambering out of that stupid pothole? So back in he went...sliding down in a dejected manner.
He just hoped she wouldn't dump mud on him, or something.
Bahati coughed. Mwenye wasn't performing so well today...perhaps he needed more against-his-own-species training? "Iron Defense, Mwenye, in case she does Mud Slap again."
There was a shimmer from below the top of the tunnel as Mwenye apparently upped his defenses...of course, it couldn't be confirmed, since he was out of sight, but one would assume the glow meant the Iron Defense was successful.

Of course, once that was thought it just had to happen didn't it? The oppurtunity was too good to pass up anyways. And now that iron defense had been used, Zach was pretty sure that mud slap was the only way anything useful was going to happen. Unless she had the oppurtunity to knock him into a tunnel again.
"Mud slap, Huur. Fill the tunnel with it!" A sort of backwards dig attack, sure, but hey. Let him clamber his way out of that. Unless he knew dig (which Zach didn't believe he did. Surely he'd have used it by now, the way the battle was going), there wasn't a chance of damage being done to Huur while he did dig himself out. At least, none that Zach could think of, but to be safe, "And then move away again!" That ought to get her out of the worst of it. Although it did make it far harder for her to attack.
Huur purposefully turned around and kicked mud into the hole with her hind feet, before moving away from it at a lumbering walk, returning to two legs half way through. Her stomach was beginning to ache from the earlier head butt attack-a bruise maybe? It wasn't enough to impede her, but she knew that she was going to be complaining later. After the battle.
After.

Mwenye rolled his eyes before they were covered with mud. Yeah, yeah, stupid trainer...
And now he was covered with mud. Stupid, wet, slippery mud, slowly filling up the hole.
Bahati sighed. Her aggron was having an off-day...there was no way to win now, since he wouldn't really be able to get out, or anything. Plus, if he was somehow able to scramble out of the slippery-sloped tunnel, he'd be so caked with the accuracy-reducing mud, he'd never be able to get a hit in. Basically, all that was left to do was have Mwenye keep Iron Defense-ing until Huur got tired, and could then be desposed of by Mchumba.
"Iron Defense, Mwenye, let's see if this kid can keep his own aggron from getting tired," the old woman ordered, narrowing her eyes in the gloom of the gym hall.
There was a muffled "<mka>", which one had to assume was Mwenye grunting an "<okay>". No shimmer could be seen, since the mud was so thick (it was beginning to spill out from the top...), but there was a good chance something was going on underneath the muck. However, although a new sheen of iron would expand over the rock-and-steel-type's body, the mud would still seep in...
And continue to cause damage, even though it would be slightly less.

Zach frowned in thought. So it was going to be a battle of endurance, huh? He ran over the battle in his mind, and came to the conclusion that Huur most probably still had the most strength. The attacks that had landed on her hadn't been very effective, and they were fewer than the ones she had landed on Mwenye.
Huur returned to the edge of the mud pit, staring down at it with intersting. If she had a long stick she would have poked it into the mud, in the hopes of stabbing the other aggron in the eye. However, no stick was laying nearby, so she couldn't do that.
Zach sighed, perplexed. Another mud slap? It was kind of useless to use that when there was already so much mud. Yet, she couldn't use anything else. Right then. "Use another mud slap, Huur." He hoped she had the sense to use a small one.
She didn't. The aggron was completely over the edge. Dead to common sense.

There was a muffled "<mmmmpppppth>", then a few coughs, then Bahati sighed. She knew Mwenye was either unconscious or about to be. Not only was he taking the full brunt of two large Mud Slap attacks, but he was taking smaller amounts of damage every second, since he was surrounded by the runoff of the previous attacks.
And that was a lot of Mud.
So Bahati simply took a few steps forward, taking out her Pokeball. "I forfeit Mwenye...unless he's already unconscious, in which case you would win the round anyway." She stopped in front of the hole, and tried the Pokeball. It didn't work. Sighing, she pulled out another Pokeball. "Imamu, come out for a moment," she ordered, releasing her metagross. The large, four-legged beast looked down at the hole in an amused manner, but said nothing. "Use Psychic to get Mwenye out," Bahati stated.
There was a glow around the other steel-type's head, then suddenly, an unconscious Mwenye appeared on the steel just outside the hole. Bahati nodded, and returned both.
She walked back to her side of the playing field, and took out a third Pokeball. "You will fight Imamu last...for now, see how you like Mchumba!"
A gigantic, steel snake appeared in front of her, grinning at Hurur with her wide smile. "<Heeey! Another steel-type, cool!>"
"Let's see how she'll take your Rock Throw! Crush her, Mchumba!" Bahati ordered with a flourish of her stick.
"<Will do, Bahati,>" Mchumba chirped, slamming her large tail into the ground. Immediately, large boulders began to pour off the ceiling, falling down towards Huur.
((Dunno how else a steelix can throw rocks. @_@))

Zach gulped, stepping backwards. Rocks bounced, if they fell fast and far enough. He didn't want to be in the way of one. Because that would really, really, really hurt. He had the slightly inkling of an idea that Huur probably wasn't going to make it too far in this match. Rock throw was certiantly better than a headbutt or iron tail attack, in terms of hurting the opposing pokemon.
Huur stuck her tongue out at Mchumba, < You're funny! > Before realizing that there were falling rocks all around her. And that one was right above her, and would quite obviously knock her out if she kept standing beneath it. So she scuttled foward, which ended in her back being hit by the rock. Still, that hurt less than having it land on her head would have.
She continued to race back and forth in an attempt to avoid rocks, but it was simply impossible to avoid that many rocks. Finally the flow of them stopped, and with a cautious look upwards she was rewarded with a rock the size of Zach's fist dropping between her horns. Not enough to give her headache, but the rest of the rocks had certiantly left bruises all over her. She ached. She could almost imagine the steel plates of her body creaking as she moved, she ached so much.
Zach decided that he'd have to get Mchumba ready for the next pokemon, so that the steelix went down fast. He only had two pokemon that were really any good against Bahati's steel types. Huur, and Singe.
Singe had to be strong for Imamu, which meant that a Rock throw could not be allowed to happen. So Mchumba had to go down with the first Flamethrower.
"Use metal sound!" So it was time to make Mchumba so weak against super-effective types, that the steelix would fall with the first.

Mchumba winced, the sound ringing throughout her head. It really hurt... "<Oh, yeah? Take THIS!>"
And without another word from Bahati (though Bahati would have said the same thing), Mchumba slammed her tail down, and more rocks fell.
((And Ame can't write...))
