Nickname(s): Nyaa, Neko, NN, Ame

Modding Duties: Everything...I'm head admin, so I run the site. I'm first and foremost in charge of any and all behind-the-scenes work, I write the plot, I designed most of the region, I mod anywhere that needs modding, and...I'm...head admin. I also do the whole affiliation thing (and make buttons for people) and keep the site running. Basically, I am the evil mod overlord.

Modding Style: Sort of wordy, but I tend to go more for character development and dialogue rather than intense, action-oriented scenes. I also like to make up quirky characters, and even the Pokemon you defeat in a couple attacks and ditch get some sort of personality quirk.

I also try my hardest to make sure you win your first two gym battles in a timely manner. The gyms are the one thing I can't exactly speed up...I don't like it when a year goes by and you still don't have a single badge when one hour of playing in the video game can easily get you one. So if I feel you've been waiting around on a route, expect your Pokemon to suddenly get a boost in levels.

Also, I give out rare candies a lot...use them, please. It makes it interesting for me if you aren't on Route 1, Route 3, or Route 5 for your entire life.

Pet Peeves: Oh, I have a few.

First: People who don't give their Pokemon ANY personality or dialogue or anything. POKEMON CAN SPEAK AND BE UNDERSTOOD! (Unless they're mute or whatever.) There is a reason for that! I expect you to avoid having plywood characters. If I see your characters turing plywoody, expect me to exact revenge on you by: a) making all the Pokemon you encounter have plywood characters (no point in spending time on character development if you don't do anything with 'em), b) evil Pokemon who will never like you, or c) making sure you nevernevernever get the Pokemon you actually want.

Second: People who consistently cannot write three sentences in an RP Post. Come on, people, it's not that hard.

Third: People who godmode or don't write about their Pokemon getting hurt. Luckily, we've managed to work our way around this: if you don't write about your Pokemon getting hurt, it is assumed that the oncoming attack was a critical hit.

Fourth: People who use legendaries on their teams (this is more of a video game thing). It just bugs the heck outta me!

Fifth: Mary...Sues...must...die...

Talking Points: Oh, I dunno...many things, I suppose.

I like cats. I have two kittehs! Kittehs are awesome! So I like to talk about kittehs.

Pokemon. Um...duh?

Anime/manga/books/TV/movies...sure...but I might not know what you're talking about. But I will always have something to say if it's something I know.

Fanfics, I guess, but I have no more time to write! So sad...

Erm...I can do minor artsy things on Photoshop, and I'd be more than happy to take artistic requests, but sometimes I procrastinate. If it's something simple like an avatar or a button (look at the bottom of the page), it'll only take me a little while.

Also, for online comics...I usually only like ones that have full-page layouts, have pretty art (usually in "manga-style"), a PG-13 rating at most, and I hatehatehate "American superhero" art style. However, I can get addicted to online comics...cuz...they're free. :3 So if you say "Nyaa! Look at this comic!", and I don't respond for an hour or more...that's cuz I'm reading it. >:3

Nickname(s): MF, MF the Effie-kun, Effie-kun, M. Fearn

Modding Duties: I work the lab threads with Nyaa, and specifically mod for Route Three and Outer Island. Other than that I pretty much roam around modding where ever. Sometimes, if I think another mod is going somewhere with your thread, I won't mod for you so I don't screw things up, but other than that I'm pretty open as far as modding goes.

Other than that, I help draft warning PMs with Ninetails and try to keep people from breaking the rules. If Nyaa was a totalitarian dictator, then I would be her secret police. As it is, I'm her not-so-secret police.

Modding Style: I'm big on good writing. I tend to get tetchy if, after I've given you three paragraphs of mod post, I get two sentences in return.

I'm also very fond of writing action filled posts. I tend to be very tough in gym battles because of this. Even though Nyaa says that you're suppose to be guaranteed to win your first two gym battles I will send people back into the wild to train more if you didn't prepare for the gym.

However, I will try to work with you to help you find wild pokemon to help against the gym leaders, and I will try to get you battles against pokemon that will level yours up quickly.

Pet Peeves: When it comes to modding I really, really HATE it when people can't stick to the "three sentence rule." It says it in the thread that you supposedly read before joining, 90% of your posts should be three sentences or more. Personally, if I was running Jenta, I'd force five sentences, but that's neither here nor there. If you want to keep on my good side and not make me go into commando mode post three sentences.

Also, I will brutally mock people who don't know what a space bar is for, or slept through the lesson on capitalization in second grade.

Along with my enjoyment of good writing, and utter hatred of bad writing, I agree with Nyaa-Neko about people who are too lazy and/or stupid to give their pokemon personalities. If you have a hard time giving pokemon personalities tell us and we will mod your pokemon for you so that you can interact with them. Just please, please, please don't turn them into mute, dumb creatures -- or worse, imagine that they are going to be loyal to the death when you don't talk to them.

If you do that I will retaliate by:
1) having all the pokemon that appear for your character have no personality whatsoever, in case you catch them. This is to make it easier for you, because everyone knows that it's oh so hard to RP.

2) or I might make certain that you can never catch the pokemon that appear for you to battle.

3) Also, you want a certain pokemon very badly? As far as they're concerned you might as well have sprayed repel all over yourself.

4) if you've really annoyed me beyond all common sense, any pokemon that you might be allowed to have will hate and dispise you and try to savage you at every turn.

Talking Points: I love to talk politics, if I see a thread in the "General" category I probably will post in it. However, keep it out of the C-Box.

I'm also a huge manga and anime fanatic, and I will talk about almost anything in that area.

This should probably be under the fandoms category (and it is) but you can get me talking for HOURS if you bring up X-Men. Ask Ruin and Yuri. I once went for about two hours on Quicksilver in the comics vs. Quicksilver in "X-Men: Evolution."

Fanfic writing is another big thing with me. Writing in general, but fanfic do's and don'ts will get me talking. I love to talk bout Mary-Sues, parodying them, and AUs in particular.

Favorite Pokemon:

1) Mewtwo: Hands down, it's been my fave since I first got into pokemon. I know it's a ledgendary, and technically shouldn't be allowed within ten miles of a favorites list. However, I can't help but love the Machiavellian, evil, psychic, anorexic kitty.

2) Sneasel: Love this speedy evil demonic cat/weasel. It's just so odd looking. And evil.

3) Persian: Evil, lazy, arrogant kitty. With a jewel in its forehead. How can I not be in fan girl death throes?

4) Quilava: It's a ferret/cat with fire on it's back! And it actually looks like a real ferret cat, rather than zangoose which is waaaaay too tubby to pretend to be part ferret (not that I love it any less)

5) Gyarados: The coolest dragon ever. So what it's not an actual dragon type? It evolves from a goldfish to become the terror of the seas! How cool is that?

6) Victreebell: I like this entire line, but the massive pitcher plant of doom is my favorite grass type. You can't go wrong with carnivorous plants.

7) Togepi: I have a lot of good associations with this pokemon from the GSC games. It's my favorite little spike ball. And in my world they're all named after stormwings from Tamora Pirce's Tortal series.

8) Tangela: I empathize a lot with this pokemon. It is a hidden forest hermit, basically, which is very similar to the life I lead. Only I'm not lucky enough to be covered in vines or have cool shoes.

9) Sandslash: They are desert hedgehogs! How cool does this make them? And up until gible they could also double as sand sharks ^^.

10) Zangoose: As if you haven't noticed a pattern to my favorite pokies -- if they are evil or agressive or have feline qualities chances are that I will like them. Zangoose has all this and insane claws of doom!

Other Stuff: I do graphic art stuff on Photoshop by request, although not always in a timely manner.

This is for all who know what X-Men is: Do not support Emma/Scott in my presence. It won't be pretty. ^^

Modding Duties: Mainly Route one... and the forest. Along with hanging around the random RP thread.

I am also the second in a duo for writing warning PM's... However I am also the more sound mind in seeing the views of the other person. But I am also one the read and watch the C-Box at times as well.


Modding Style:I try and stick to nice detailed posts, but also I love giving Pokemon different personalities and well, they can be insane at times.


Pet Peeves: Okay... I guess I don't have a pet peeve... well mainly one, Do not spout conspiracy theories around me... I hate them.... So if you do, I will be poking holes into them left and right.

Talking Points: Okay... Like anything else, I will go on and on about Politics... but only if it is a civil conversation, meaning... well, no foul language.

I am also one to talk about History and what ifs.... like what if Pirates golden age survived.... or a different outcome in WWII, things like that... But also Sci-Fi, I am big on that.

Cats, that is another thing I can talk about, especially Siamese

Along with fanfictions... I am a writer of fanfics and am always willing to talk writing with people. Like MF, I love writing and if I get into a certain mood, well, watch out for nice long posts.

Favorite Pokemon:

1) Ninetales Okay... this is always on my top ten list... the others change and move... but Ninetales and Vulpix, which is tied at first will remain first.

2) Squirtle... the First Pokemon I ever picked from oak... and is now a level 100 Blatoise... he is a good Pokemon, and will remain in a special place in my heart.

3) Blatoise... To me... Awesome show of water attacks and cool design

4)Furret... Okay, I admit, he looks cute and cool at the same time... besides, who else can you find that can learn almost all the elemental punches out there?

5) Mew... What? I like Legendaries, I love the way the show had hinted at a mythology surrounding them and... well, I love mythology. So, why not have Mew in here? She/He having the DNA of almost every single Pokemon in the world?

6)Ho-oh... Yet another Legendary... MF, don't blow a brain cell on me. Ho-oh... because yet again, the mythology I have seen surround her is also sheer brilliance... Besides, it is the symbol of new beginnings right? And so, since every day is a new beginning in a way, I like Ho-oh

7)Lugia... Ho-oh can't go anywhere without Lugia, and with Pokemon 2000, I must say that Lugia would be awesome to see in action, he is a great Pokemon in a team as well... espessially using Aeroblast.

8)Flareon... An Eevolution, I know... but once again, when I have a Flareon, it is all good for me, He is a good Pokemon, a great one indeed.

9) Shuppet... okay, this one comes from my RPing life... but still, Shuppet is a good Pokemon and one that is good to be used in teams... I like Shuppet.

10) Rattata... He is purple and a rodent, enough said.

Modding Duties: ...I need to mod more. Although I'm top mod of route 1 and 2, I usually mod places where I kinda know what the other mod was thinking. I try not to mod threads where special things are happen. ( Like when a NPC is traveling with the character or when the Pokemon they're battle seems to have a difficult personality for me to copy. )

Modding Style: The shorter and more informative it is, the better for it is to me. I try to find words that give a precise touch so I don't have to write a lot of filler words. (like I would use lax instead of lazy) I'm big on dialog when I have more then one character to control.

Pet Peeves: Don't have a lot of these, but I do hate when people don't space out their words and don't use spell check.

The Scarlet Letter... that book was so boring because it was nothing but descriptive words with a little bit of dialog.

Talking Points: Nothing! ;D I'll randomly add things to a conversation just to put in my two cents, but I don't take lead in them. I tend to be the shadow that lurks around when two or more people talk.
