Will sighed heavily.

<You know that I own you all!> Cherry, his Cherubi said. Will was carrying Tyro, who was fast asleep in his arms. Lily was on his shoulder, looking around curiously.


"No, I don't think so...because-"Will began.


<EMBAH!> She screeched, Will had to jump back to avoid getting a nasty burn. Then he had to stamp out the fire.


<Is she nuts?> Lily whispered in his ear.


"Be nice." Will said.


<I OWN YOU!> Cherry screamed, jumping onto a rock, Will sweatdropped.

[Terrill]

"<Really?>" A pidgeotto landed next to the berry pokemon, making sure to show off her wings before folding them up. She groomed one feather that she thought was out of place before beginning her proposition. "<So you wouldn't mind if I found you someone to battle for you. I mean, if you're so sure of yourself, then you wouldn't mind give me a show of how you vie against another pokemon. Am I correct?>"

<I COULD BEAT ANY POKE'MON THAT DARED TO CROSS MY PATH WITH MY PWNSOME EMBER!> Cherry screeched, Will frowned. He knew she had an uncommon advantage, but Pidgeotto was a flying type. He didn't think it would be smart to attack a poke'mon like that...

<Definitely crazy.> Tyro said, opening one eye and letting out an enormous yawn.


"Be nice." Will said, he was looking at the Pidgeotto, she looked strong too. And well kept.

[MorriganFearn]

<Good,> the pigeotto smirked, raising her wings again. She was proud of her wings. <Well, then battle me with that oh-so-awesome ember.>

She fluttered into the sky, and then slammed her gorgeous wings together, raising a cyclone of air. The thin twister spiraled madly on it's fine point, and then headed straight for Cherry.

((It's twister, not Gust that she used, BTW ^^))

<Bring it...> Cherry growled.


"Hold on Cherry..."


<Do I have to do this myself?> The grass type snapped, <ATTACK!>


Will sweatdropped, "Uh...use...use SunnyDay then..."


<WHAT? Alright, fine, your the trainer...> The poke'mon growled as she shot a ball of light up into the sky. The sun started to shine with intense brightness.

((Yeah, five turns. Oh, and the Twister had to hit...so I'll be assuming it was critical, then, since you didn't mention the oncoming attack.))

The bird squinted against the now-much-brighter sunlight. It was getting in her eyes...and would such bright sunlight bleach her feathers? She didn't think so, but it was a bit risky...

She then opted for a different version of the attack she used, and whipped up a gust of wind. The cyclone, the Gust attack, zoomed toward the cherubi with frightening speed, kicking up a bit of dust and grass as it went forward.

The attack did a ton of damage to Cherry, and she hit the ground with a loud thunk. Will grabbed his poke'ball but she was on her feet (and panting heavily).

" Right...uh...use Ember then." Will muttered. The Cherubi shot the tiny little flames at her opponent.

As the flames hit the sunlight they grew to the size of baseballs. The large fiery coals peppered the pidgeotto, causing her to shriek in pain, and leave smoldering feathers in their wake. She dropped to the ground, glaring harshly at the grass type. All right, she was going to twister that little thing to death!

Flapping her wings together, her eyes glowing slightly, the pidgeotto summoned a swirling twister, that aimed at the cherubi.

((Ooooh...and Will uses this magical Berry pack with the help of Tyro...heeeey. I just realized! FROST COPIED MY SEEL'S NAME! ~grabs spork~ Oooooh Frost...))

The attack caught Cherry and she spun high into the air. Cherry hit the ground with a thud. Will knew she would pass out any second, what could he do though? Then he felt a nudge at his side, and looked down at Tyro, who yawned. He had the Starter Pack in his mouth. Will rooted through the pack until he found an Oran Berry (?). He tossed it to Cherry, and she ate it quickly, regaining some Hp.

"Right...use Ember again!" Will said, sounding more certain about the battle now.

((Happy Oran! Just hang in there a bit more.))

The pidgeotto was breathing raged breaths, certain that she had vanquished the uppity cherubi. The sun was still harsh, but she has won, she had -- Fire filled her vision. The embers rose from the cherubi like the little burning coals they were. However, when they hit the sunlight they exploded into glorious flame. One crisped pidgeotto fell beak first onto the the roadway, and lay there fainted.

((Congratulations, you have defeated a level 28 pidgeotto (that level is for old time's sake and the fact that I haven't slept in a while).

Suddenly, Cherry started to glow a pretty silvery yellow colour. Will blinked in surprise as she evolved into Cherrim. She blinked in surprise.

<Well...didn't...I mean. I meant to do that!> She struck a random pose and Will sweatdropped. He then remembered the fainted poke'mon. She learned PetalDance!


"Go, Poke'ball?" He said, chucking the ball at it (pressing the button first. XD, silly Dawn) and waited to see if he caught a Pidgeotto.

((Er, Onna, only 4 moves per pokemon. Cherry has to forget a move for teh petal dance of doom...))

The pokeball swallowed the bird pokemon in a flash of red, and began to rock back and forth at a furious speed. After nearly a minute it binged, hopefully to Will's relief. The stats of his new pokemon were obligingly scrolled across the screen of his pokedex a moment later.

Special Ability: Keen Eye - the rate of low leveled pokemon battles decreases while you are in the group two region with her in your party, and her accuracy cannot be reduced.
Personality: She's very proud of her beautiful wings, quite the beauty queen in fact. Don't ever insult or sully her gorgeous feathers or it will be painful. She also is intensely jealous of shiny pokemon (like Cherry, hmm, coincidence?) and will challenge any she sees to a battle.

((So, Onna, have will walk on and pick a terrain. If you want to stay on the rocky cliffs, that's fine, or you could wander into the plains of route three, or one of the forest-y areas. Whatever is your yen.))

Will picked up the Poke'ball with a slight grin, and then tossed it into the air. His new Pidgeotto appeared to fly at his side. He then walked into the grassy plains of Route Three. He was surprised how drastically the area changed.

The grass swayed gently in the breeze for some time, but then, far away, an army of heads lifted, and cried out to the skies. Then there was a thundering and a trampling, and the grasses bent and vibrated, as five doduo dashed forward. Two were halted by the fact that Will was in the way, and they had to stop, or crash into his little party.

<Oh blast!> one of the doduo glared. <you just messed up the race, y'know!>

Will let out a cry of surprise and stepped backwards. His arms waved wildly in the air in such a comical fashion that Lily and Tyro burst into hysterical laughter. His other two Poke'mon only snickered at him. He blinked in embarassment.

"Sorry." He said, " I didn't realize I was in anybody's way."

<The fields are doduo racing grounds. Of course you're in the way just by traveling,> the glaring doduo remarked snippily.

His companion sighed. <Don't mind him. He's been in a bad mood since he as hatched. What can we do for you people?>

[Onna-san]

Will glanced at his newest member he nodded, giving him a sly look that could almost be a smile. That is, if bird's could smile. He turned to the Doduo curiously, "Alright then, how about a quick battle?"

<You'd be fighting me of course.> The gorgeous Pidgeotto said, flapping her wings.

<What, the two of us together?> the doduo looked a little surprised. <Wouldn't that be unfair?>

<She meant me, you silly ejit!> the more agressive of the two doduo snapped. He hopped to the side a little, sizing up the bird. <All right, beautiful, let's see how good your feathers look floating on the air!> he lunged at the female bird with a peck attack.

[Onna-san]

Gloria felt the pain as the bird's beak dug into her flesh. She gave a powerful beat of her wings to fly a little into the air.

"Right..." Will said, giving an apologetic look to the other Doduo. He sighed inwardly, it was nice to get a Doduo, but the calmer one would have been his first choice. It seemed he had attracted agressiveness for some unknown reason. "Gloria, let's show them your Twister!"

Gloria rose into the air a little more, letting the sunlight sparkle off of her dazzling feathers (At this Cherry snorted and rolled her eyes) she then beat her wings, causing a tornado to appear.
