In the muddy shallows of the shore, some barboach wriggled, getting warm in the sun, yet staying wet and moist with the surrounding mud pack. The two nearest Rain grinned, attempting to poke each other with their antenae. Finally the one on the left got hit in the eye, and reared up, sniffing huffily.
<I don't wanna play with you any more,> she huffed, before seeing Rain. <Look! There's a trainer, I'll play with her.>
with that the snake-like fish pokemon began to eel toward Rain through the mud.

I always get the weird pokemon... Rain thinks to herself, before giving the Barboach a polite smile. "Hello."

<Hello!> the barboach said happily. <Would you like to play? I can play anything you like. The Poking game, Mud Splashy, Ulltimate Magnetude Roulette, anything.>

"I honestly don't know how to play any of those games," Rain says. Interesting pokemon,, lets see what she wants to do, she thinks. "I'll let you pick."

"Well, Ultimate Magnetude Roulette is the easiest," the barboach replied. "You use magnetude on the beach, and whoever creates the biggest wave wins a berry. If it's a tie, you have to battle it out. Since magnitude is so random, you never know what you'll have to do."

"Well, I'm human so I can't really do anything like that..." Rain says, and then shrugs. "But I do have someone who can help, go Benny!" She says, and lets out her own Barboach, who looks at the other mud fish.
<Hi...> he says.

<Hello,> the new comer smiled at Benny, and eeled up to him to poke him playfully with her antennea. <Are you ready to make a magnitude? Or should I go first, Mr. Benny?>

Yeah, I encounter the craziest pokemon... Rain thinks, and shakes her head.

<Right then!> the barboach reared up, and then flopped down int the mud. Contrary to normal expectation the ground rumbled, and a wave of water shot out into the lake, growing larger and larger for a minute, and then getting lost in the swell. <All right! A magnitude 4!> the female barboach exclaimed excitedly.

"<Not bad,>" Benny says, and turns to look at Rain.
"Alright Benny, lets give this a try, use Magnitude!" Rain commands, and another wave of water forms.
(No idea what magnitude.)

((Well, if you want to battle the barboach, I'd suggest a magnitude 4, since ties have to battle. When RPing you can choose any magnitude between 1 and 10. Just try not to hit the high numbers constantly.))

Rain sighs recalling Benny, she continues walking along the beach. Her watch beeps quickly, and she presses a button revealing a message. "Missing trainer could impede plan, send reply quicky, from Angel."
Rain glances around, and types a message before shutting off the messanger option.

Although it had absolutely nothing to do with what just happened, the egg in Ruin's bag ((OOC: she has some sort of bag, right?)) began to shake...
It rolled out of the bag, thankfully not damaging itself anymore than the Pokemon inside it was, and shook more. Cracks appeared all over the brown-and-cream surface, and a squeaking was heard inside. The egg rolled a few times, large shards of the shell breaking off every second.
With one final "vee-rp!", the creature inside poked his egg-slime-covered head out of the shell, and gave a look around. Heavy black eyes fell on Rain, and he simply assumed this was his master.
((Aaaaaand...in case you couldn't tell, the egg hatched into an eevee. I'm really sorry about it...but I needed another eevee in Jenta...I apologize. -_-;;; Here are the stats, anyway:
Eevee Gender: male Level: 5 Group: 1 Nickname: you choose Ability: Run Away - can escape from wild battles Attacks: Tackle, Tail Whip, Helping Hand Personality: kind of has none. He has a problem - he cannot feel emotion. He cannot feel happiness, sadness, loyalty, anger, love, embarrassment...nothing. He just takes whatever sort of orders he gets from Rain, carries them out, and moves on. He doesn't say anything EVER, either, though it is not apparent if it is because he just doesn't, or if he actually physically cannot.
Sorry...it's the plot. Blame the plot. -_-))

(An emotionless Eevee, maybe I'll name him Seto.)
Rain looks down at the newborn pokemon in amazement, she had honestly never seen a pokemon hatching in her life, why, we're not sure. "Wow, an Eevee," she says, and bends down, lightly petting the newborn Eevee. Hmm, nicknames, nicknames...

((^_^;; The horrible thing for you is that since he can't feel emotion, he can't evolve into an espeon or an umbreon (since he can't even like Rain, much less love her or feel loyalty toward her...he just follows her orders). -_-;;; Anyway, I think Mori-chan had the modding thing for this thread under control...so I shall take my leave...))

The barboach that had been being poked by his female compatriot saw the egg slimed eevee. Now he knew that coming out of an egg was a messy experience, but the trainer wasn't even cleaning her pokemon off? Poor thing. He could remedy that, however.
The snake-like water type reared above the mud. He felt water fill his mouth, and then he propelled it at the slimey little eevee, trying t do his good deed for the day. Of course, this barboach was a little slow, and didn't realize that this would probably look like an attack.
