Character Applications:
Fill this out to participate in the organized roleplays on Tejan. Create a new thread to put it in, also. Then sit back & wait for a mod or admin to accept the profile.
-Currently, we are NOT accepting Pokemorphs-
The Various Regions:
All right, Tejan is our "stress free" region. It is just a simple journey with easier level gains, and hopefully more fun for everyone. This region is for every aspiring trainer (and from the way it looks as though it's going, every aspiring breeder, too).
Jenta, the other main region, is a little darker, thanks to the plot. People will steal your pokemon, and you will never see them again if you don't do anything sensible about it, like talk to a police officer. Also, Jenta applications are weighted towards those who can write, and write well.
The Differences in Play
- Jenta has a much more complex "Group System," which involves getting 3 starters, and allows you to challenge the gyms in any order you're interested in.
- Jenta has a plot which involves characters having pokemon stolen from them, animal experimentation, and quite often mutation of your favorite pokemon. Usually it's for the better -- but if you don't ever get your pokemon back, that doesn't make it better, does it? This plot has caused major stress with members in the past, and is pretty much why we brought Tejan into existence.
- Tejan is plot free! Stress free. There are no big problems on the island. It's just a nice region to journey in. If the plot didn't sound like your cup of tea, then you should probably skip over to Tejan.
What to Do:
Once your character is accepted into Tejan, a mod will move the thread to the Tejanese subboard. Once that happens, it becomes your character's profile. You are responsible for keeping it updated as soon as it goes in the profile area.
Character Limit:
Character Limit: UNDER DISCUSSION! Rules that apply shall be posted shortly. It may be possible to travel with two characters under one account beginning their journeys at the same time, but Mod permission must be received.
Also, if you complete your journey in the region it might be possible to move your character to another region, and start a new journey there. The mods will have to approve, but don't be afraid to ask.
Example: Carra completes Miteinjan and becomes champion and wants to travel to Jenta because she's heard so much about it. MorriganFearn, her controller, would PM Nyaa-Neko, and ask if Carra could start in Miteinjan. Nyaa might say: Yes, but you can't use pokemon that you've trained above the level caps for the number of badges that you have, so keep them in the PC until you do, and you'll have to resubmit Carra's profile to Jenta, AND be accepted.
The Applications:
The form below is for Tejan, and should be filled out if you want to apply for Tejan. There's a form for Jenta in another thread, don't be scared, go check it out, too.
You may add anything to the form that you feel is needed for your character, but these are the basics:
Application for Tejan
Name:
Age:
Hair Color:
Eye Color:
Personality:
Favorite Pokemon: (yours or your character's, preferably both)
In Tejan, although we're pretty lenient, there are some things that we just will not accept into the forum, period. If your application to ANY region looks like this:
Expect this as a response (Please note that this is a MorriganFearn response, and MF is very scathing. Nyaa-Neko is nicer):

Application denied.
This is illiterate (I do not see one complete sentence here), and does not have anywhere near the detail that we look for in trainer applications. Since you have obviously skipped over the rules, for some reason, here are the ones that you broke while making this application:
The three sentences minimum rule applies to the "Other Description," "Personality," and "History" sections of the bio application. Also, capitalize the start of every new sentence (why didn't you learn this in second grade with everyone else?), and use periods. None of the admins here like reading run on sentences.
In case you missed the lesson on punctuation and spacing in elementary school, you are supposed to put spaces after all punctuation, including colons. I suppose that your utter lack of comma knowledge is a can of worms that we could get into at another time.
I believe that this is self explanatory. We want profile applications to be detailed. At the moment your application looks like an example of how not to do it.
I am assuming as of reading this second application that you are either lazy or just haven't been able to graduate from kindergarten. It's obvious that you haven't read the rules, as well, but usually the only people who try to apply without reading the rules (rather hard to do as the first thing at the top of the boards is a reminder that you should read the rules...) are lazy and incompetent.
- Read every single thread in the Rules and Terms board. You absolutely have to read the Rules thread and the C-Box Rules threads (and you really should read the thread about the group system), but the other threads are optional. However, it is strongly suggested that you read them.
Take the advice, it's free.
Personally, I do not believe that you are capable of lasting in an RPG that actually has standards about the literacy and writing ability of its members. I would suggest if you do not feel that you can type at least three properly punctuated, correctly spelled sentences per post that you should find an RP that is NOT text based and have fun there.

X) This is a LITERATE forum. You really need to post with proper capital sentences. You don't have to be an amazing writer, but at least try. Posts really should be three sentences minimum for most of the time. If you always post with two or fewer sentences...that's really, really, really bad.

XIII) Your character application needs to be full and detailed. If you want your character to have a mysterious past, that's fine, but that means that you have to figure out how to reveal what skills they learned in that mysterious past without giving the actual past away. If you are lazy and just write "this character has a mysterious past" then nothing happened in that mysterious past. They learned nothing, they saw nothing, they had no friends. They did not exist until they stepped onto Jenta. You don't want to do that to your character. This rule is here to keep realism in check. If your past is so unrealistic that no one would swallow it, then the mods can tell you how to change it to make it better, which would hopefully make you see how to make yourself a better writer in turn.
I believe that this is self explanatory. We want profile applications to be detailed. At the moment your application looks like an example of how not to do it.
- Please use correct English. If English isn't your first language, or you have a disability that makes it hard for you to type correctly, please say so! Otherwise, the mods are just going to assume you are lazy and immature (or, even worse, don't read the rules).
