Hoping for Jenta...
Neh, I didn't know if he kept his pokemon if he was accepted or not, so I just sort of didn't put them...
Name: Zach Rellen (Once more the family has yet another name...I can never remember their last name. 0.o)
Nickname: Very, very, very close friends sometimes call him Zachy-Whacky. Don't ask.
Age: 15
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Light Green
Other Description: Zach is a short boy, and a thin one. He's spindly. Not slender, not wiry, spindly. He has long hair, hanging to his waist and nearly always braided. He usually wears khaki pants, although sometimes he'll put on a pair of black slacks. He owns only a pair of black tennis, and his shirts vary. Usually simply a t-shirt, he does own a dressy one or two.
Personality: Zach has a personality that fits rather well with his size. He's afraid of many things, mainly the dark and ghost pokemon. He also has a fear of Gyradose's, and Charizards but they at least have a story behind them. He's very partial to his hair, and is quite vain on that matter. He's follower, preferring to let other people lead, but he does seem to have a talent for pokemon training. Perhaps his only talent. For all of his fears, however, he is a loyal friend, if you manage to get him to be a friend. So loyal as to go for a ride on the back of your Charizard, even, though you may have to drag him up there.
History: Zach grew up in Kanto, having been borning in Viridian City, just a short stretch from Pallet. However, he didn't travel to the nearby starter city when he came to the age to train pokemon, convincing his family to send him to Johto where he could get the starter pokemon he wanted-Chikorita.
Although his father was unsatisfied with that, being as Zach was his only son at the time, and he had been hoping with something a little more...well, masculine. It didn't help that the first pokemon he captured was a rather feminine female hoothoot. For the entire first year of his pokemon journey, his father refused to write to him, until the mysterious disappearance of his older brother, Tyler. Then, he wrote in order to have Zach help with the search, for he was, surprisingly, the only one of the family in Johto.
The search continued, and for four years Zach searched for his brother, but no sign showed up. During the third year of his search, Zach himself went missing to the dismay of his parents, although he showed back up shortly before his birthday. Turned out that one of his friends, an older girl around eighteen years old named Myra, had convinced him to help her look for Missing No, a mythical pokemon she believed existed.
Unfortunately, it did.
They found Missing No., but the glitched pokemon teleported them to its own world, where another victim, not completely taken over by the pokemon yet, warned them that they had but two days to escape. To get out they had to get to a portal...On the other side of the ocean.
They were able to walk across it, because for some odd reason their unglitched molecules didn't sink through the glitched data. However, they were starting to sink, as they were slowly converted to data, by the time they reached the other side of the ocean, and barely found the portal before their two days were up.
And, half way across the ocean, they found Tyler. Zach's missing brother. He was half drunk at the time, which had led him to finding Missing No. in the first place, and also led him to tell Zach what he had been doing.
Working for Team Aqua, for the team had kidnapped one of the powerful electric pokemon Tyler was so fond of-his very first pokemon, in fact, Rai the Raichu. Tyler had been set to finding rare pokemon and attempting to capture them, and Zach was unable to convince his brother otherwise. Tyler's bond with Rai was too great...And he was sober by the time they made it out of Missing No.'s realm.
When Zach visited his parents (the first they had heard of him since his disappearance), he told them what he had learned, and his mother decided that Tyler probably wouldn't stay in Johto, so Zach should go somewhere else. In case Tyler did stay, Ryki would be heading there soon anyways, and so Zach was detailed to go to Jenta. The family would continue to search for their wayward son.
Favorite Pokemon:
Mine: Oddish, Jigglypuff, Ninetales
Zach: Chikorita, Meganium, Noctowl, Sandslash
Plot Willingness: Yup, good with me.
RP Example: This will be with Tyler, not Zach. Because Zach would just walk away and come back later, which isn't a very good post.
It was an absolutely beautiful day, bird pokemon of all sorts were singing their hearts out, only a few fluffy white clouds marred the clear blue sky, and the sun wasn't beating down harshly, but instead just warming the land beneath.
Tyler didn't notice any of it.
His hands were shoved down into the pockets of his slacks, his chin nestled down into the collar of his jacket, and a frown was on his face. The nearly twenty young man absolutely detested being sent to Jenta. He'd been required to leave all of his pokmeon in the PC, and for what? Maybe finding a legendary that had come over here, or maybe even a new one.
Just what would Aqua do with a legendary pokemon? Except for Kyogre-and we all know how that went-the legendaries didn't much care whether the land was covered in land or water, or if they did, they didn't have the ability to change it.
What was more, the lab was empty, when he got there. He'd even knocked-no kicked-the open the door in the hopes someone would appear.
No one did.
Then, an absolutely wonderful thought came to his mind. He could just be an unregistered trainer...It wasn't exactly illegal either. Plenty of kids caught a pokemon by pure luck, instead of going to a lab, and if he was lucky there would be a fairly common pokemon over there that would serve as his 'lucky catch'.
He'd just register at the next town he came across, like all those little kiddies, if he absolutely had to. There was absolutely no reason to go through all the trouble of waiting for the professor, speaking with him, dealing with him...
He'd just take a pokemon.
So he grabbed the first pokeball, and released the pokemon inside, then stumbled backwards. Not because of fright, or even the size of the thing, but because a small furry thing had flown straight at his chest and attached itself there.
It turned out to be a Meowth, and Tyler deemed it possible he may have caught it...or gotten it in a birthday present or something, since he did come from Kanto, and therefore just might have family there-which he did, unless they had moved.
So, he walked back out of the lab, returning the clinging Meowth to its pokeball. Not an electric type, but he didn't want to stick around and try the other pokeballs, in case the professor came back. Did this count as stealing?
He was, after all, just going to give them out.
...Had there been cameras?
