The second tackle sent him flying. The hologram of further forest fizzled as he hit a far wall, and lay there. He twitched a few times, but only managed to curl up on one side, clearly fainted. Jimmy's pokedex beeped.
[You have defeated a level 8 wurmple] [Your Chikorita gained 1 level] [Your Chikorita is now level 10] [Thank you for playing here. There is another foe approaching. Would you like to battle?]
((You also have the option of catching the wurmple (or not) and time warping in order to get your egg to hatch.))

He could not help but feel a slight bit of pain for the pokemon as he curled slightly on his side. The boy pondered on whether to capture it. There were bound to be higher-leveled pokemon but... Velle looked tired and beat-up. That battle was tough for her, him being a bug and all... perhaps he should leave after reaching the next floor. He particularly wanted to reach that floor as he had heard Poochyenas were there and Jimmy rather liked poochyenas...
Jimmy knelt down. "Wanna leave or battle, belle?" He offered, cocking his head at her as she hesitated. yes, she was tired. Yes, she was in pain (the last attack was still a bit stingy) but, the higher-levelled she got, the closer she was to being a meganium. A pretty, sparkling, luscious, strong meganium. There were struggles but if it meant being a meganium... so what? Belle roughly shook her head. +I can take a few more battles!+ She said, panting slightly.
Getting up, Jimmy sighed. "OK." He smirked, picking her up before looking over at the wurmple. He wasn't too fond of taking pokemon from their home, even to train, but this place was holographic. Surely, taking him all over, letting him see the world, was better than a holographic place? Plus, he seemed quite strong... Also, he did need at least one other member on his team. Otherwise it'd be pretty hard going to the first route. Shrugging with one shoulder - his left - he took out one of those special pokeballs he'd been given and chucked it at the wurmple. He hoped the pokeball wouldn't miss its target... that'd be embarrassing.
((I'll also time-warp to the day of the hatching. COuld you do it this time though...?))

((Okay, but time warping has complicated since you caught the wurmple. It gets to stop the time warp to evolve.))
You caught:
Wurmple Name: ? ? ? Gender: Male Level: 8 Moves: String Shot, Tackle, Poison Sting Ability: Shield Dust Personality: Persistent, and sometimes selfish, he is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants. Admittedly, this could be in his trainer's interest, if this guy would only stop thinking about his own comfort, and work with the team.
~ ~ ~
Time warp: 1 day later
The newly caught wurmple slammed once more into the poisoned poochyena. This one had led the other two that he and the walking leaf (alright, the chikorita. She was actually pretty fun to hang around with if he wasn't hungry, and she hadn't lost her temper) had defeated. This was the training wheels off mission where he got to attack the poochyena for all he was worth. As the poochyena tottered, he lassoed it with a string shot to help pull it down. The poohyena went down with a flop.
The big bug glowed with what he could only describe as the feeling of awesome, and sprayed his stringshot into the air as the pokedex recorded:
[You have defeated a level 6 poochyena] [Your wurmple gained 1/2 a level] [Your wurmple is now level 9] [Your wurmple is evolving] [Thank you for playing here. There is another foe approaching. Would you like to battle?]
Indeed, the wurmple was now just a mass of white strings that seemed to be glowing white. A few shifted as the strings continued to pour out of one hole, wrapping around the red bug. For a moment the glow flared, and then dimmed, leaving a bumble of fine silk threads and one eyehole. <Well, that was interesting. Look at me, I can wiggle!> he exclaimed, rocking from side to side, some of the outer streamers leaving silky layers behind.
New Stats:
Silcoon Name: ? ? ? Gender: Male Level: 9 Moves: String Shot, Tackle, Poison Sting Ability: Shed Skin Personality: Persistent, and sometimes selfish, he is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants. Admittedly, this could be in his trainer's interest, if this guy would only stop thinking about his own comfort, and work with the team.
((The time warp can be reactivated by another battle. Unless you catch another early evolving pokemon you shouldn't have a problem ^^; *Hands back control of the silcoon*))

Kneeling - well, squatting - down, he fondly stroked Bell as she ran over. "That was great Bell, just a little more practise and you'll be a meganium in no time!" At this, Bell jumped for joy and looked around excitedly for any more foes.
About to go over to his wurmple - who he had yet to name - he froze when he noticed the wurmple glowing. Excitedly, he knew what this meant; evolution. At tha, he had excitement dazzling in his eyes at which way the wurmple would. Would he be a Silcoon or a cascoon? Personally, he didn't mind either way.
"Oh nice, you're a silcoon!" He exclaimed running over. At that, he noticed another opponent was coming.
Pointing out to where he expected the next foe to appear, he shouted, "Let's do this!" And there we're outta here when I catch this poochyena!
Nodding, his two pokemon got ready. Examining him over, Silcoon felt this would be the last pokemon he'd want to fight and darn heck he'd defeat it! Rocking a bit, he still felt joy at the feel. It was fun to rock from side to side!
Glancing over at her partner, her leaf distinctively swayed the other way, opposite the side Sill lay. Rearing to go, if not feeling a little tired, Bell let out a wannabe snarl. It sounded cute and unthreatening, even though she was trying to make it quite the opposite. ((crap post. And sorry for the wait xD))

Another poochyena rushed out of the "grass" growling. He glared at the two pokemon, sizing them up. However, he saw the limp from of their earlier battle foe, and the blue eyes narrowed. <That was my sister, jerks!> he squeaked, clearly a little younger than the previous poochyena. Planting his feet he dipped his back, trying to make his light tan pelt bristle angrily. <You'll pay! I'll take ya both on! C'mon! Rarrrr.>

<Your sister?!....> The silcoon exclaimed, glancing over at the fainted figure. <I thought that was a boy...> He muttered, smiling sheepishly.
Nodding, Jimmy glanced over at the fainted Poochyena. Hmm... I was given there he figured, cocking his head. And it would mean no separations. Scratching his arm quickly, he said, "Look, we didn't know it was your sister! And we're sorry!"
<Pfft, I'm not,> The silcoon muttered, rolling his ruby red eyes.
Bell glanced at him and then back at poochyena. Stamping a foot, she started running head on, yelling a defiant cry, as she shook her giant leaf from side to side, razor leaves bolting out at the opponent.
At that signal, the bug tried to move but found, without any signs of legs or feet, was unable to properly move. Instead, he rolled one step awkwardly towards the poochyena. Once on his stomach again, he sent out furious poison stings at the poochyena.
((Hey MF, can I catch the female even though it wasn't a proper fight?))

((Seeing as I force modded you for it, sure, but *cough* I would read the little brother's description very carefully. And possibly look at some sprites for confirmation. www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/261/all <--- Again, read the description. I played a bit of a Neko trick on you. ^^ ) The Poochyena barked angrily, before yelping as the leaves whizzed through his fur, leaving long cuts in his skin. He stumbled, falling flat on his face, his eyes watering in pain. The brave defender of his sister wasn't able to last long, as just after he fell to the leaves the poison stings pricked him with their burning fluid. He struggled to raise his head, whining in the back of his throat, before lying on his side, unmoving. ((Bell and the silcoon defeated a level 4 poochyena Bell gains no levels (at level cap) The silcoon gains 1/4 of a level The silcoon is level 9 1/4 You may catch the two fainted pokemon. But would you like to time warp? Or would you prefer to battle again? Be warned that you can only warp for one day because of the silcoon's level cap.))

((O...Kay? 0_o *whispers loudly: I'm confused * ....... Oh wait Oh wow, shiiinnnyyyy All ending in quick seconds, he watched the pokemon faint. By this time, the two pokemon had noticed he was a shiny but didn't mention it. They were waiting for their trainer to catch on....
As the limp body fully lay on the floor, only was it then that he noticed. "Oh wow! A shiny! yeah, I'm so not going to catch that!" Rolling his eyes, he got out his remaining special pokeballs and chucked them at the fainted poochyenas; pokemon he'd always wanted.
Turning to his two pokemon, he got out his pokeball and returned Silcoon, saying, "Fantastic job!" before scooping Belle up and putting her on his shoulder - she seemed to enjoy it up and they seemed to all do it in the movies...
After the poochyena were caught - together again - he ran over to elevator and punched the button. "Let's leave. Now!!"
~1 DAY LATER~
As he left, leaving a fainted sentret on the floor behind him, he quickly jammed his thumb against the elevator button. Glancing back, he felt a bit gutted that they didn't allow more than three pokemon to be caught. Oh well - poochyena were better in the long run. Still here, despite trying to leave for over a day, he had to camp in the strange hollographic forest - not a nice way to spend the night! Sliding open, he darted into the elevator with his pokemon. "Soon, we shall the see the OUTSIDE!" He gasped, looking down at his two pokemon; Silcoon and Belle. Well, bell was on his shoulder but whatever.

Once they got down to the first floor the receptionist waved them on, before looking at Jimmy strangely. "Dude, your bug is glowing."

Looking down casually, he looked back up, about to say, 'so?' when he realised glowing was a good thing. Looking back down, he watched the shape form into a butterfly creature. Within moments, it flew up, letting a long, slightly deeper than usual voice; Beeaaauuutttiiifffllllyyyy which was basically, +Yaaaayyyyyy!+
Jimmy smiled. "Niicceee! Urm, I'm calling you Silkie." He said, grabbing one of the pokeballs and returning his newly evolved beautifly.
Looking down at Belle, who had an expression of many mixes; envy, jealousy, awe, wonder but it was mainly envy and jealousy. Glancing up at her owner, Jimmy picked his chikorita up, plopping him onto his shoulder and walked out.
Blinking, he rubbed his eyes a few times and blinked heavily and violently until his eyes adjusted to the sunlight. Bell had to do the same. Looking around, he headed off into the crowds of the place, people blending into one big blur. No faces. No taking in people. Just unnamed, unfaced people in a town that was a dot on the face of the planet. A weird way to look at it but whatever.
Heading into the Pokemon Center, he walked up to the line. Rolling his eyes, he let out a small but annoyed sigh, Great. A line. Leaning to the side, he counted how many people there were. Four. A small line but still. A line. As an older girl walked away from the counter, very laid-back, it seemed, the line now fell down to three people.
Eventually, it was his turn and he popped the pokeballs and Bell onto the counter. "Heal my pokemon, please." He said, finishing with a big grin.

"Of course, dear," the nurse smiled at him, and took his pokeballs. "It will just be a few moments, you can sit down it you like."
She waved her hand at a selection of padded chairs scattered around two square tables with magazines on them before putting Jimmy's pokeballs on the machine. A small boy was sitting at the table with a psyduck and a ralts, playing patty-cake. He had been at the head of the line when Jimmy got in there, and he waved tentatively as Jimmy looked over.

Jimmy, being polite and all, smiled back and gave a quick, sharp nod. "Thanks miss," He said in his childish boy voice. Casting a quick glance at Belle, he turned around, looking for a place to sit.
It wasn't long until he spotted the waving hand of a familiar looking boy. Hesitating, the ten year old quickly realised the boy had been at the front of the line when he had joined the it. Eyeing his pokemon, he felt envious at the boy's luck: he had always wanted a ralts. Walking over, he sat down, grinning at the boy.
"Hey." Was the first word to start it off.

"Hi," the boy replied. "I'm Jeremiah of Petalburg. I just got here, really. Do you know where the professor is? I've tried reading the street map, but there are just -- so many buildings," he sighed, looking at his feet.
The psyduck, broke off the game to brandish a map in her trainer's face. <The way is clearly marked. With an arrow! I used crayon, for goodness sakes!>
"Sorry, Mackie," Jeremiah cringed. The tiny, green helmeted psychic type did as well. Jeremiah looked at Mackie, seeming slightly annoyed now. "Mackie, you're making Beno unhappy. Stop scolding."
Beno hummed, sounding nervous. He didn't like the idea that Jeremiah and Mackie were fighting. Mackie could be scary, because she knew everything!

Jimmy raised his eyebrows at the name. Jeremiah was quite a unique name... About to answer the question about the professor, he turned to the Psyduck as she complained.
The small boy watched argument break out and the nervous Ralts. He wished he had a ralts... looking at this team, he couldn't help but be glad about the team he had. Even though he hardly knew the Poochyenas.
Guessing this wouldn't get far, he weakly intervened, "Urrmm, I think it's somewhere on the outskirts of this town?" Shrugged, he sat back.
A tiny smile was formed at the memory of them arguing. Why he enjoy arguments, even tiny ones, so much?

Jeremiah broke out in a grin. "Really? Thanks."
Mackie just rolled her expressive eyes. <I told you on the map,> she sang to her trainer.
Jeremiah brushed her off. "Whatever. Now we know, c'mon--"
A call from the nurse's counter distracted the young, would be trainer. "Jimmy? Is there a Jimmy in the center? Your pokemon are ready."
"Oh, hey," Jeremiah exclaimed, realizing that he must be looking at a bonna fide trainer. "Hey, um, when you get your pokemon back, do you want a battle?"
