Type of area: Bridge/City
Name of area: Cendel Bridge
Theme of area: The theme of this area is bicycling as well as electric pokemon.
Description of area: Cendel Bridge is a bridge that goes about five miles over a large lake. It is made of metal. In random places there are energy conductors that send bolts of lightning through electric types that can be found there. This way they can heal pokemon and harness any extra power for energy. Its also a city with various buildings. The west side of the city is full of burnt building. The south holds the Element Dome among-st other things. The city is electric themed because of all the surrounding pokemon.
History of area: This area was built by William Cendel sixty years earlier so it is fairly modern. Shortly after the city was built it was attacked by wild electric types, thus being the reason why the town implanted energy conductors throughout the city. Soon many people came whom had a love for electric types to move in. The western part of the city was burned down in a flash fire one day about twenty years earlier. The remaining buildings weren't rebuilt due to the fact that no one would live there after those horrible events.
Environment: Cendel Bridge is surrounded all around by mountains and lakes. Due to all the air and water, it is a moist climate.
Natives: Electric pokemon such as Pichu, Pikachu, Magnemite call this city home as well as humans. Most natives welcome those people who come to the town but the Pikachu don't like outsiders. Overall it is a very friendly place. The pokemon live out in the streets or in peoples' homes, depending on what part of the city you're in.
Obtainables: There are items you can get yes. Items such as heal balls, dusk balls, net balls, potions, antidotes, repels, and revives can be obtained here. You can also catch Pichu and other electric pokemon if you're good enough in battle. The only way to obtain items is by battling for them since the city is a poor city. The reason you can only get stuff by battling is because it brings in money by tourist paying for tickets to watch your battles.
Things to do: Cendel Bridge has many things to do. You can battle, trade pokemon and items, paint pictures, or play the electric safari maze game. You can trade or battle with either venders, people in the city, or other people. Items won from battles come from Kanto to support the city.
Gym-like-things: The only gym-like are is the Element Dome. There are six different gems you can get there such as the Ice Crystal, the Fire Ruby, the Water Sapphire, the Air emerald, the Earth diamond, and the Light Candle gem. Obtaining each gem is different. For the Ice gem you have to get out of a cave full of falling ice shards and breaking floors. The fire ruby is gotten by escaping from a volcano filling with lava. The water sapphire is buried under water that is freezing and that you must get. The Air gem can be obtained by fighting off a Salamence. The Earth gem can be gotten by finding a random berry chosen by a number generator. Lastly the light gem is found by getting out of a cave with twisting mazes.Once you have at least three gems, you win either a pokeball or a potion. In terms of rping you go in, choose an element, and roleplay out the challenge.
