Name: Robin Adea
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Physical Description: The most remarkable thing about this girl is her skin, which she paints green -- or blue if she can only get her hands on woad. She says she does this pro practical reasons to blend into forests and find rare pokemon that way. However, it's more likely that she just wants to be shocking and weird, and this is how she is going about doing it.
Once you can get past her skin her dark brown hair is cropped short, since she isn't always near shampoo and showers and thus tries to minimize snarls and tangles. Her eyes are brown as could be expected, and she typically tries to wear a pointy witch's hat, and the tattery shawl of a hex maniac. Everything else changes at random.
History: Robin is from Triple Towers Town in the Delmara region. She attended the local primary school, and then went onto the pokemon tech program in the Triple Towers high school. It was there that she decided to become a hex maniac. However, there was one problem: she found ghost pokemon very boring and predictable.
Always an "outdoors" kind of girl she spent most of her free time in the Redwood forest, sitting still, and trying to concentrate on her supposed latent psychic powers. The only thing that she has ever been able to do that is remotely psychic like is give people headaches by staring at them too long.
Anyway, she hung out in the woods probably more than was healthy for her. It certainly wasn't all that great for her homework, which started to develop moss stains when left on rotting logs in fits of absentmindedness by Robin. When her big test of her pokemon catching skills happened at the end of her first semester she just wandered around the forest until she ran into a seedot. They started talking, meditated for a while, and then went back to class together. She had to retake the test so that she wouldn't fail. She decided that she vastly preferred the seedot she found to the mightyena that she had caught, however.
She studied hard with the seedot (a quirky creature Robin named Ebony), and by her sophmore year he had evolved into a nuzleaf, thanks to near constant training. They still went out into the woods most days, Robin certain that the best way to catch pokemon was to lure them to you while being completely still. Ebony helped with the camouflage by teaching Robin how to dye her skin green so that she could blend in with the trees. Using this technique she managed to catch herself a hoothoot, and a nincada (well, she accidentally sat on Walnut the nincada).
Now she has entered her junior year, and juniors must go out to regions on an exchange program and survive for a year with the pokemon that they have managed to catch in the last two years.
Personality: Robin dyes her skin green, and likes to hang out in forests meditating, and pretending to be a witch. She's just a little off kilter. Just slightly. Ah well, she's a warm hearted person, despite her unusual taste in recreation. She really wants to be a hex maniac, but a hex mainiac that lives in a forest with forest pokemon. Yeah.
Starting Team: Nuzleaf, nincada, hoothoot
Species: Nuzleaf
Gender: Male
Nickname: Ebony
Ability: Early Bird - Wakes early from sleep
Hidden Power: NA
History: Ebony met Robin as a seedot wandering around in the woods one day talking about a test. He found her amusing and decided to sit down and talk with her. They talked until afternoon was wearing on about witches, and forest life, and school, and junk and stuff. When Robin decided that she would go back Ebony accompanied her for the heck of it. Although her instructor made her re-take the test so that she actually *caught* something, Ebony stayed with Robin, while the captured Mightyena ended up in the school's extra pokemon collection.
Personality: Ebony is curious and nosey by nature. The reason he st down with Robin was to find out what she was doing in the forest. The reason he's still with her is because he finds her oddness enjoyable. He's a relaxed, easy-going critter who likes surprises.
Species: Nincada
Gender: Female
Nickname: Walnut
Ability: Compound Eyes - Extra accuracy
Hidden Power: NA
History: Walnut was literally sat on by Robin when she was coming out of a rotten log. Despite the bad start, everything was smoothed over by Ebony, who dusted Walnut off, and made the nincada comfortable. Since then the nincada has had a crush on the nuzleaf, which is why she followed Robin out of the forest.
Personality: Walunt is shy and easily embarrassed. She has a massive crush on Ebony, but wants to keep that a secret. She finds Robin a little hard to put up with when it comes to her loony ways, but is very glad that her trainer is so absolutely clueless.
Species: Hoothoot
Gender: Male
Nickname: Mahogany
Ability: Insomnia - Cannot be put to sleep
Hidden Power: NA
History: One night when Ebony, Walnut and Robin were communing with nature (having a late night camp out to watch fire flies and talk about the oddness of the word fire fly) Mahogany landed on Robin's head. He seemed absolutely happy to stay there and take part in the conversation. So he stayed. Robin walked back to her dorm room with the hoothoot perched on her head, easily switching feet. Mahogany usually uses Robin's head as a perch, which sometimes can become embarrassing when he needs to go do his business.
Personality: Mahogany gets a great kick out of pretending to be wise. He'll often butt into conversations. He really likes Robin and her head, for some reason. He spends most of his time perched there. Unlike Ebony, it's far more easy to annoy this bird, and he really doesn't like to hear his odd trainer insulted.
