If you would like a subboard of your very own in Mokenpo, please submit them here. However - no stealing another's idea, or modifying it, as that is plagiarism.
You may, however, post an idea. If you post an idea, it must be one sentence and only contain, at most, three vague information points.
So this:is an idea. It's only one sentence, and its three information points ("big city", "poison-type theme", and "large underground") Anybody can take it and expand on it, then turn in a submission for it.
However, this: is more than an idea - it is a submission...though a very bad one, so it would probably be rejected. This means that nobody else can expand on it, though the person who posted it can make it more detailed and resubmit it.
Also, if your subboard gets accepted...you are the moderator. I will not mod it - you will. I will not post informational stickied topics - you will. I will not design any little detailed parts of it - you will. You may ask somebody else to be a secondary mod if you can't handle it, and you can tell me the person so I can add them as a mod, but it will be your subboard to deal with. Not mine.
You may use any format to submit your area, but here is a sample form you could use some or all of:
---
Type of area: (city, park, preserve, forest, river, mountain, lake, etc.)
Name of area: (um, duh, name it)
Theme of area: (is there a type or Pokemon attribute that this place is based around? You don't need one, by the way...)
Description of area: (physical...what does it look like? How big is it? etc.)
History of area: (what sorts of things have happened here? etc.)
Environment: (temperature, weather, surroundings, pollution, etc.)
Natives: (are there Pokemon or people who call this their home? What are they like? How do they react to outsiders? etc.)
Obtainables: (can you get items here? What about Pokemon? How do you get them? What can you get? etc.)
Things to do: (what is there to do? Are there gyms? Gym-like-things? Shopping? Pokemon to catch or obtain some other way? Places to go? People to see? etc.)
Gym-like-things: (are there any places where you have to defeat a person or circumstance in order to receive some sort of material compensation? Are there gyms, contests, or some other thing? How do you defeat them? What are they like? etc.)
---
Remember, you don't have to use the form above, and you don't have to say everything - you can build on details in your informational threads, or whatever. I just want enough information to know that you actually care.

Type of area: Bridge/City
Name of area: Cendel Bridge
Theme of area: The theme of this area is byciclying as well as electric pokemon.
Description of area: Cendel Bridge is a bridge that goes about five miles over a large lake. It is made of metal. In random places there are energy conductors that send bolts of lightning through electric types that can be found there. This way they can heal pokemon and harness any extra power for energy. Its also a city with various buildings. The west side of the city is full of burnt building. The south holds the Element Dome amongst other things. The city is electric themed because of all the surrounding pokemon.
History of area: This area was built by William Cendel sixty years earlier so it is fairly modern. Shortly after the city was built it was attacked by wild electric types, thus being the reason why the town implanted energy conductors throughout the city. Soon many people came whom had a love for electric types to move in. The western part of the city was burned down in a flash fire one day about twenty years earlier. The remaining buildings weren't rebult due to the fact that noone would live there after those horrible events.
Environment: Cendel Bridge is surrouynded all around by mountains and lakes. Due to all the air and water, it is a moist climate.
Natives: Electric pokemon such as Pichu, Pikachu, Magnemite call this city home as well as humans. Most natives welcome those people who come to the town but the Pikachu don't like outsiders. Overall it is a very friendly place. The pokemon live out in the streets or in peoples' homes, depending on what part of the city you're in.
Obtainables: There are items you can get yes. Items such as heal balls, dusk balls, net balls, potions, antidotes, repels, and revives can be obtianed here. You can also catch Pichu and other electric pokemon if you're good enough in battle. The only way to obtain items is by battling for them since the city is a poor city. The reason you can only get sstuff by battling is becuase it brings in money by turist paying for tickets to watch your battles.
Things to do: Cendel Bridge has many things to do. You can battle, trade pokemon and items, paint pictures, or play the electric safarie maze game. You can trade or battle with either venders, people in the city, or other people. Items won from battles come from Kanto to support the city.
Gym-like-things: The only gym-like are is the Element Dome. There are six different gemd you can get there such as the Ice Crystal, the Fire Ruby, the Water Sapphire, the Air emerald, the Earth diamond, and the Light Candlegem. Obtaining each gem is different. For the Ice gem you have to get out of a cave full of falling ice shards and breaking floors. The fire ruby is gotten by escaping from a volcano filling with lava. The water sapphire is burried under water thast is freezing and that you must get. The Air gem can be obtained by fighting off a Salamence. The Earth gem can be gotten by finding a random berry chosen by a number generator. Lastly the light gem is found by getting out of a cave with twisting mazes.Once you have atleast three gems, you win either a pokeball or a potion. In terms of rping you go in, choose an element, and roleplay out the challenge.

Questions for Cendel Bridge:
- How does the metal change color?
- Why is it electric themed if the gym isn't electric?
- What are the gems for?
- What does the bridge go over? A lake? A mountain?
- Why did they decide to put in "energy conductors" to fight off electric types? Wouldn't that just help them?
- Where do the Pokemon live? Out in the open?
- Who do you trade with?
- If the western part of the bridge burned down, how come it's still up? Didn't it get rebuilt?
- Where do you get all those Pokeballs? Who do you battle? If it's a poor city, why wouldn't they want to sell you everything? Battling doesn't give them any money.
- How do the activities like painting and electric safari work in terms of an RP?
- How does the Element Dome work in terms of an RP?

Seems okay, though I'd rather you run a spell checker and grammar checker through it, first. I still don't understand why they don't just sell items or use that money to rebuild the houses if they burnt down 20 years ago, but whatever. I can make the board, if you want. (Please use this submission as an information topic.)
Edit: I want to know where the gem idea comes from, as another staff member thought it came from Zelda.

Here is a bare idea to be picked up and tossed around as much as anyone would like:
There should be a place for the ghosties to hang out, like a haunted forest with lots of bugs and ghosts and rabid pokies roaming the nights. And it is always night.... Muhahahahahaha. But seriously, a haunted forest with strands of moss, maybe a crumbling mansion somewhere nearby, like in the Sinnoh games. Bah. I'm sleep deprived :3

Edit: I want to know where the gem idea comes from, as another staff member thought it came from Zelda. The idea for gems? It came from me thinking too much about how some of the prevoius names for the Pokemon games were based off of gems and I wanted to use that someway. As for that Zelda remark I haven't even played any Legend of Zelda games. Oh and I'd love it if you made the subboard...

Alright, the subboard will go up with you as the moderator. I'd get a sticky in there with all the information (you can just copy + paste) if I were you, as that's always important. Other than that, it's up to you.

Hmm. Well, it looks pretty well thought out. Do you have any store names, or lists of items and the prices a which they might be obtainable? Also, it would be nice to have some information on your ideas for NPCs before you're actually forced to invent them. It's always good to have a stock to choose from, so if your mind is drawing a blank you don't have to think about it ^^

Very good. I can set up the subboard for you. If there's anything else you can always add it when Nyaa comes on. Just, why the black glasses if you have a steel pokemon, since they are dark pokemon related items?

Idea Submission: Bakir OasisA small oasis in the sand, filled with lush flowers and trees, all surrounding the natural spring. A tent village has sprung up on the east side, while beyond the trees in the west, the desert begins again. Come here to relax, or train against the inhabitants of the village. They appreciate a good battle, and sometimes give out prizes. Geography: The oasis is situated in a depression. The sand is level for a while, but begins to rise up into high dunes after a while. The spring itself is fairly large and surrounded by a kind of park, filled with thick green plants. There are many paths twisting through out the green undergrowth, some leading to the water, some twisting and turning through the verdant setting, encountering neither water nor sand, and others heading for the village, and finally a few rare ones lead to the western desert wall, and the small magma cavern under the seething desert. As for the village, it is a collection of tents and light huts crammed between the eastern sand dunes and the eastern end of the park. There would be a tent selling items, a tent selling charms, a tent selling masks, and a healing tent. The rest of the tents would be residences, with a larger hut for town meetings, and a school house. This village is often a scavenger hunt type place. In each hut or tent there might be a new game or information to be obtained. The cavern needs to be mapped, extensively. There are lovely stalactite formations, and the air is hot and steamy. Visibility is next to nil, but at the supposed center of the cave is a tar pit, and sometimes fossils of prehistoric pokemon can be found there. Crystal formations add light in certain places, but, not much. Getting in is hard, getting out is worse. This is going to be your typical RPG dungeon quest type area. There are things to be earned, pokemon fought, and secrets of the cavern to be uncovered. Objectives/Stuff to DoI planned Blakir Oasis as a "choose your own adventure" area, styled after old school table top RPGs. There are a variety of things to see and do here, or if you just want to hang out with your character you can do that too. 1. Catching or Battling Wild PokemonThere are pokemon all around the oasis. In the oasis itself there are: Totodile, croconaw, fraligator Magikarp, gyarados (rare) Quilfish Croagunk, toxicroak Poliwag, poliwhirl, politoed Hippotas In the vegetation: Troipus Exeggcute, exeggcutor Aipom Hoothoot, noctowl (the desert environment has made them smaller than normal) In the town: Sanee? Doduo, dotrio Growlithe Numel Trapinch In the cavern: Geodude, gravler, golem Slugma, macargo Magmar ? ? ? 2. Scavenger huntsIn the school building a five young trainers who are doing a project on pokemon types. Each of them brought in five different pokemon of a certain type set, to study as their homework. Too bad they released them all at once, and in the ensuing confusion all of the pokemon managed to escape. Find the set of pokemon for each child (if you want clues you can always talk to the child in question): A. Betty (Type - Grass) - Tangela - Hoppip - Oddish - Bellsprout - Sunkern B. David (Type - Fire) - Charmander - Cyndaquil - Torchic - Chimchar - Magby C. Hillary (Type - Water) - Buizel - Shellder - Staryu - Poliwag - Seel D. Bryant (Type - Electric) - Pichu - Minun - Plusel - Pachirisu - Eevee E. Lucy (Type - Ground) - Sandshrew - Diglett - Cubone - Phanpy - Trapinch 3. Battle series against trainersThere are five paths that wind through the vegetation of Blakir Oasis, and five trainers can be found on each path (Five is considered an auspicious number by the locals). Depending on the path you take battling a set of five trainers will get your character something nice. A. Deepening Green Walk into the vegetation that surrounds the oasis. Push the thick dwarf palms aside, and smell the fresh scents of ripening fruit and budding flowers. A path twists through the green gloom. Once you are deep in, the path forks at a massive, moss covered boulder. You may either climb the steps to the top of the rock, take the left fork, which heads for the watery oasis, or the right fork which leads deeper into the "park." Along the "park" route there is a massive hollow trunk with some seats carved into it. The road branches again, a little past this trunk, and the left path leads to a massive grove of flowering bushes, while the right leads to a tiered pit of what once might have been an open air theater. The path leads down to the stage, and then back out of the miniature valley, meandering toward the entrance of the magma cavern. 1) Bug Catcher Arana Location: Trying to catch butterflies in the sunny top of the boulder. Pokemon: Venonat, Venomoth, Butterfree Prize: None, but she might tell you some interesting information. 2) Fisherman Emil Location: Sitting on an old log fishing where the path leads to the oasis. Pokemon: Slowpoke, Slowbro, Slowking Prize: None, although you could get the old boot he fished up 3) Cooltrainer King Location: Holding court in the hollow tree Pokemon: Flaaffy, Kirlia, Tangela Prize: Miracle seed and a King's Rock 4) Aroma Lady Gardina Location: In the center of the flowering bower Pokemon: Roselia, Sunflora, Bellosom Prize: Lax Incense 5) Artist Vince Location: On the old amphitheater's stage, holding a player's mask Pokemon: Mr. Mime, Ditto, Exploud Prize: A player's mask from the stage B. Smokey Road C. Waterfall Way D. Magnetic Walk E. Soft and Quick Sand 4. Exploration 5. Getting fossils 6. Loot To Be Continued - I have to leave for breakfast/school. Shall finish later.
