Creator's Notes: This game follows the GSC story-line, nothing to do with the "Play It Again, Sam" Kanto 1940s verse. Game play wise, it will be a cross between "Travel Through the Cities," and "Play It Again." This is just a simple: become the best trainer, watcher, whatever you want game. No plot, except what the players create for themselves.
RPers Level: This is an all writers level game, since there's no plot requirements or anything.
Rules:
1) No god modding (taking over characters without permission), or power playing (if your level 2 sentret survives a Submission from a machamp something is wrong).
2) There can be multiple characters. Just please have a filled out profile when you introduce them. The profile form can be found in the next section.
3) Your character CANNOT be related to, or have a past involving a cannon game character (ex. Claire's cousin, or Giovanni's former secretary). This RP is based off the GSC game cannon, so if Skye Leafdancer wasn't mentioned in the game as Lance's secret crush, Skye won't have been Lance's secret crush. That being said, there's no reason why you can't choose to be a cannon character.
4) If you are going to do a character history, please don't include any of the boring was rescued by/did rescue a [insert rare pokemon or pika-vilution, eveultion, vulpix/ninetails]. Or a was experimented on/parents were killed by Team Rocket. The number of wounded dratini that have been found lost in the woods must mean that they are no longer an endangered species, and don't get me started on the number of pokemorphs that are running around because of Team Rocket, who must have captured at least half of the population under 18 years old, and killed half over 18. If you want a sensationalist past, make it an original sensationalist past.
5) Level ups are entirely at your own discretion, as are learning moves. A tree falls on your pokemon's head, and it learns withdraw to survive, a-ok. Just please don't give your pokemon a level for every rattata that they beat, and don't let them learn fire blast because OMG @ lv 2 teh CHIKORITTA totly cud. lyk it sneeded 4 servival.
6) On the topic of moves, only 4 per pokemon. Game cannon.
7) Note: If the game gets out of New Bark Town (and it probably will) and all the Way to Violet City, I'll create a Violet City game. Basically this will be a game series with a new game for every gym leader.

Professor Elm looked around his shattered lab with the attitude of a drowning man. His aide had managed to neaten everything up, and put the pokeballs back on the shelves. But you still couldn't ignore the hole in the window, or the smashed computers, or the crack through the plexi-glass on the healing machine's monitor. Or the policemen huddled around the broken chair, cursing thieving vandals who wore gloves.
He had been expecting news from Mr. Pokemon about the big discovery today. It was supposed to be a marvelous day for science. Instead there was this. It almost made him cry.
"Don't worry, sir," the aide was saying. "Yes, the guy took a lot of spare pokeballs, and yes, one of the cyndaquil is missing, but we'll have this cleaned up in no time. The new trainers won't even notice."
Professor Elm's gaze remained riveted on the jagged hole that had been the window. The aide followed his gaze.
"Well -- um, maybe they'll be able to help."
Professor Elm tried to wrap his mind around the idea of children as young as ten being able to help He would trust their abilities if they were 15. He realized he needed a drink, and he sat down on the edge of an overturned work bench with a groan.

Meanwhile, the young man who had destroyed the lab, was hiding in the leafy branches of a tree near by, waiting to see what would happen. The pokemon he had stolen was still in it's pokeball. He wasn't going to let it out until he was safely away. But that meant leaving in the regular rush of trainers going away from the lab.
