(Okay, let me point out things then. First of all, it wasn't Red that beat the Elite 4, it was Yellow, Red couldn't beat Lance, because of a technicality in the manga, that he could only be defeated by a trainer and pokemon born of the Viridian Forest.
In the manga, there are only 3 such trainers known.
Lance and Dragonite Yellow and Pikachu And ironicaly, Giovanni and Beedrill.
In addition, Rain herself fits the profile, but has completely droped out of the war for personal reasons.
The Genocide in question, is the ultimate plan of the Elite 4, the total elimination of the human race, other than themselves of course.)

((Really? Oh well, I'll change that to "Yellow," then. And fiiiine...I'll do something. Considering Shana and everybody else SHOULD BE DEAD, I'll have to pull her out somehow. I doubt you'll like it, though, since only she gets out.)) Shana suddenly felt a hot, searing pain. Before she could scream, however, she suddenly realized everything had gone black. She didn't think she'd know what happened...but suddenly, she was able to scream once she realized she had no body. "I'M DEAD! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Suddenly, there was another blinding light... And she was in the air. As a flygon...with her stone... Glued to her neck. Infused with her skin. A part of her... She would have fainted, but her dragon instinct told her, "if that were to happen, you'd drop out of the air and die of impact from a hundred feet up, you idiot." "<Rayquaza?>" She whimpered in her scratchy flygon voice. "<What-what happened? Why am I alive?>" Suddenly, the green scaly thing ((LOL @ Ruin)) flew up beside her. He had a suprisingly grave expression. "<The stone. I was able to get you out through manipulating the stone. Not sure how to get it off you now...I hope you meant what you said when you were mouthing off to that other stupid human. You know, I would not miss her if she died along with Momo...>" "<WHAT?>" Shana could barely keep flapping. The dragon looked up. "<I couldn't get her out. The lava burnt her to a crisp. There isn't much else to say...I'd give you her remains, but they probably vaporized at such a high temperature." Tears filled up Shana's bug eyes. But...I never got to know her!"<R-rayquaza...I-I...nooo...I...>" The dragon looked at her. "<Be sad if you wish. But don't stop flying.>" He looked away, and Shana looked through her tears to see that he wore a sad expression. "<She was a good Pokemon...had potential, in fact. She should have been wild...I should have known never to trust that idiot, Kyogre. He and Groudon...the two of them have no intelligence.>" Shana just looked down at the world below. Momo...please rest in peace...((Huh. I killed off Momo. @_@ ))

Somewhere below them, a Rapidash is running. Rain had recalled Ruby at the last moment, and grabbed her stone, somehow she had survived the lava, and now slows into a trot as she looks around.

Jason meanwhile was still falling. Suddenly he came to a stop and found himself in the Pokemon Center. "Cool...I wander what happened to those others..."he said. Jason sighed and turned to leave the Pokemon Center. The lab wasn't too far away...

Rain drops the Tempest Stone, which she had been holding in her mouth, and walks out in front of Jason, checking to make sure all of her pokeballs are intact, she concentrates, making sure that none of them are hurt, she turns to Jason. "Hello," she says.

A flygon landed next to Jason, looking at him angrily. If Jason looked carefully, he would see the twisted Draconic Stone embedded in her neck. The snake pattern on it was mauled beyond belief, and the colors had mixed together and burned to cause it to turn an ugly brown.
The flygon herself looked beat up. Minor burns were all over her body, and she had all but collapsed. Her wings, though a charred brown, had somehow managed to carry her to the Center.
She growled angrily at Jason before collapsing on the ground in front of him.
All...your...fault...

Rain closes her eyes, and reaches out to touch the Flygon as an attempt to heal the pokemon with her, uhh, abilities, but shakes her head. "Its that girl, the one who was defending Rayquaza. I, don't know if I can heal her..."

Jason turned to Ruin. "Why hello Ruin. And Shana if that's you it is not my fault at all...Noone could have expected that they'd send us through hell in order to get to the Pokemon Center. So ha!"he said with a small smile.
*This is it. Your journey begins. But first.* a voice boomed from the sky. Kyogre scooped down. Blasting ice at the Drsgonic Stone, it began to peel off. Also he touched Momo who began to glow...

"She's still probably not going to like this," Rain mutters. "I guess I kind of lost control back there..."

((Momo's body vaporized in the lava. She's my character. Don't bring her back without me saying so! I'm going to ignore that part.))
The warped stone fell off Shana's neck, and the girl rolled over. Her burns were gone...but her neck HURT.
Sitting up with a start, she realized her neck was bleeding a little. Nothing serious...more like a few layers of skin had been ripped off with the Draconic Stone.
Glaring at Jason, she spat, "I don't want to do this anymore, but I guess I have to, don't I? All I ever wanted was to go to school and have lots of friends...now I've lost one of them. But I can't let Rayquaza down. I'll be sad later, then."
Clutching the base of her neck, she grabbed the not-spherical-any-longer stone with part of her sleeve, and slipped it in her pocket. She didn't get up, though...although her flygon natural healing abilities were able to get rid of the burns, she was weakened by the ordeal, and couldn't do more than sit up and breathe heavily.

"Here, let me help you," Rain says, trying to make up for what she did before. She rumages around in her bag, and takes out a cloth. "Here, just use this until we can get you a better bandage," she says, offering it to Shana.

"Thanks," she muttered, wrapping the bandage around her neck. "It's not too bad...just hurts...and..."
Suddenly, her eyes overflowed with tears, and she wailed in pain for all that happened. It almost hadn't hit her before...Momo was DEAD. "WHY?" She shrieked, hugging her legs. "WHY DIDN'T THAT STUPID PORTAL WORK?"

"I don't know," Rain says somberly. "And I'm sorry about your pokemon, its tough when you lose a friend you hold dear," Rain says, and then something occurs to her. "Just a sec," she says, and steps off to the side to make a phone call.
She comes back in a minute with a pokeball in her hand. "Its not the same, probably, but I had a Swablu in storage, if you want to have her..."

She sniffed. "No, that's okay," she hiccuped. "I'll get a Pokemon on my own, but thanks for your offer. I don't know if I want one right away." Too much was happening at once for Shana to even comprehend the offer. Thoughts were swimming around in her head, and she needed to sort them all out before she had to add new ones.
Brushing her dirt-colored hair out of her wet eyes, she tried to ponder what to do. They had to get those stones, apparently. If she wasn't going to help them, then everything would have been for nothing. She didn't care so much about anything the others had gone through or would in the future, but she knew that in the past half an hour, more things had happened to her than she wanted.
Plus...Shana couldn't help but wonder if somehow, some way, this would all end happily and grant her some boost in her popularity at school.
Looking at Rain, she smiled shakily. She still didn't like Rain, but she felt that maybe she should be polite. "I'll wait to get a Pokemon. Thanks, though."
Of course, inside, maybe she hadn't changed as much as she liked to believe. There were two other reasons why she wouldn't accept the swablu, even if she ddin't think them consciously. First, she still didn't like Rain enough to accept charity from her. Second, she wanted a Pokemon from Rayquaza. She felt that they had a connection, and maybe it was in her destiny or something...
If Momo was alive, she'd have rolled her eyes.
((Bleh, it's too early for Shana to actually improve at anything. She'll be Shana inside and out for most of this RP...if not all of it. And while I thank you for the offer, Ruin, I still want to decide what Shana gets. I have an idea...I just want to wait to see if it'll work. If anybody knows me, my writing style, and what happened in the last page or so, they should probably be able to figure it out on their own what my idea is. X3 ))

"Alright, I'll just send her back," Rain says, and makes a quick phone call as the pokeball is telleported back to wherever she stores her pokemon. "Just keep something in mind for me, if you keep your friends close to your heart, you'll never really be apart from them."

Shana nodded. That was...helpful? advice, she thought, half sarcastically and half not. The fact was, she didn't really know Momo well enough to "keep her close to her heart." In fact, when she tried to think of some treasured memory they had together...she just pulled a blank.
I didn't know her...was she really my friend? The teen thought, and she wasn't sure if that made her more or less sad. In fact, Rayquaza told her to choose to be sad. Could she really do that?
I'll be sad...later. I should focus on more important things now, she thought, huffing as she pulled her heavy body to a standing position. The seams on her pants screamed silently, but held together.
After wobbling a bit, she managed to find some sort of center of balance, though she placed a sweaty palm against the wall of the building. Glaring at Jason, she began to wonder out loud. "I wonder where we're supposed to go next."
If Momo were alive, she'd have shuffled quietly off to a corner to see if there were any INTELLIGENT Pokemon thieves who would be willing to take her away from Miss Overweight Idiot.

"Going to the lab would probably be a good idea," Rain says.

Shana looked blankly at Rain. "There's a lab here?" she asked in a clueless voice. "And what would we need to get at a lab? I don't need a Pokemon yet, and everybody else has a Pokemon already. Or...do you mean like a research lab?"
Such a stupid question caused Momo to turn in her grave-that-did-not-actually-exist.
((See how Momo lives on in spirit? X3 ))

(And I thought Irae was crazy.)
"I really, really don't know, I think Jason mentioned something about one, but I don't know the details," Rain admits.
