Yu-gi-oh: Return of the Soul Cards [Ep.2:Bunnyman]

You know how the story goes…

You know how a young boy named Yugi Mouto was given a strange gift – a puzzle made of complex, interlocking pieces, and how after years of work, he put it together. He found that with the Millennium Puzzle came a stranger gift… The spirit of a five-thousand year old Pharaoh who would become his protector… his partner… his friend…

You know how he became skilled at the game of Duel Monsters, and along with his friends, saved the world from dangerous threats, many times over. Dangerous demons and madmen, using his cards and his Heart to overcome them.

When all of it seemed over, there was nothing more to do. An ally told him of a way that a ritual could be performed to release the Pharaoh from the Puzzle so that he’d be free…

…and that is where realities split…

You see, in the myriad worlds of the cosmos, there exist many different realities; in many of them, the occupants are the same. However, their lives and their fates sometimes differ.

In the one you are familiar with, Yugi faced the Pharaoh in a Ceremonial Duel; in order to be set free, the Pharaoh had to know something that the strongest men must know – defeat. Yugi triumphed, and the Pharaoh was allowed to leave the world. The Millennium Items were buried forever, and for a short time, the world earned a respite from evil…

That was until a new evil king came. He came bearing the Millennium Eye. How he got it noone knows. But one things is for certain...he's up to something evil. For you see he has come using the cards of the late Maximellion Pegasus. He has started a tournament at Southsta Academy. This academy was named after Yugi and his friends. The tournament is knwn as the Soul Tournament. Many kids entered without knowing the plot. This man olny know to all is looing for two heirs. Yugi's and Jaden's. He plans to sacrifice these heirs and bring forth a dark age. He plans to start what Darts, Marik, The Shadow Riders, and the Light of Destruction started. He plans to rule the world.

This tournament also has a huge twist. Players may only use cards they made up themselves. Not only that but for each duel they win, they gain a peice to the Key of Souls. Only the true heirs can win these keys and defeat him. Will they do it, or will they fail?

Appearance: Lumera stands at five foot six. He wears blue jeans and a silver and blue shirt. Around his neck is a heart shaped locket with a sapphire in it. Brownish black hair falls over his shoulders. Brown eyes peirce through the hearts of many.
Personality:Lumera is an interesting kid. Sure his name is that of a female but he is still doesn't care. He likes to have fun, read, write, and flirt with cute girls/guys. He knows this tournament is more than meets the eye so he strives to solve the mystery behind it.

Five foot eight inches, mid-back length black hair, pure gold eyes, has no iris. Wears black leather and a black mask that covers her face, aside from unsettling her eyes. Has a small pouch tied to her leg and waist. Carries a gold scepter-like item with her at all times, it has an eye engraved into it.

Serious, dark, silent. Prefers to keep to herself. Is extremely protective of those she does make friends with. Though, she always seems to have ulterior motives.

Appearance: Basicaly, she looks like Trinity from the Matrix, why, no one really knows, she also carries a cane with her at all times.
Personality: A little shy sometimes, but can be very friendly.
Other: Lee was born with the same condition as Serenity Wheeler, with the exception being that she was never able to get the necessary surgery. She is now 100% blind in both eyes, but she has an ability that lets her see the souls of living beings (and Duel Monsters cards).

Duel Spirit: Toon Summoned Skull
Apperance: John usually wears a brown jacket with Bunnyman's face on the back. He also wears a black shirt and a pair of blue, thick denim pants. Finishing his outfit are a pair of white tennis shoes.
Personality: John is sarcastic, somewhat over-confident, and can be a tad on the annoying side. He usually relies on his ability to annoy opponents into blind, unrelenting fury so they attack without thought than on an actual strategy. In the event his annoyance doesn't work, he has a few back up plans. When not battling, he thinks up new cards, such as Bunnyman and Bun-Bun. If you insult his creations, run. Fast.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "ATTENTION! MAY JASON, ASHRIN, LEE, AND JOHN MEET IN THE DUEL STADIUM?! THE TWO TEAMS ARE ASHRIN AND JASON AND LEE AND JOHN!!!!" a voice boomed over the intercom. Jason sighed and stood up, trudging to the middle of the area. A black Duel Blade was strapped to his arm. There were also to girls and another guy. Spotting one whose Duel Blade had the name Ashrin on it, he went to stand beside her.

"Let the duel begin!"he said. His life point counter rose to 8000 as did everyone elses. Smiling, he drew five cards.

Lee silently places her deck into her duel disk, which is custom made to be in a similar design to the Orichalcos duel disks (the way it activates), but is covered with lines of green code. As she draws her 5 cards, you can only assume she's studying you behind those sunglasses and her life points are set at 8000. "Game... begin," she says in an almost emotionless voice.

Ashrin rolls her golden eyes and activates her smoke engulfed duel disk while placing her deck within it. These kids are in for a surprise... she thought with a smudge grin from behind the leather mask. She shifted a few feet away from Jason and waited for the fourth person to show up.

John activated his modified duel disk and placed his deck inside. He drew his five cards as he checked out the competition.

"Nothing I can't take on." he commented. John checked his hand before saying, "Shall we begin?"

Lee draws, and thinks for a second. "I'll set one monster in defense mode, and place this card face down to end my turn," she says.

Ashrin drew her entire opening hand at once. She glanced at the cards as she rearranged them and placed a few cards down. "i'll set one of each and end." She stated simply, giving no sign of emotion in her pure gold eyes, the mask not really helping much on that point.

Jason drew. Just as he was about to open his mouth, an announcement cut him off. "ON SECOND THOUGHT THIS WILL BE A TRIANGLE DUEL!!!! JOHN WILL DUEL THE WINNER!!!"a voice said. With a shrug, he drew his six cards. Smirking, he began.

"I summon Harpie Kuriboh (800/700)! Then using his effect, I sacrifice him to summon Harpie Magician (2100/1700) in defense mode. Since I can't use Harpie Magician's effect until my next turn, I play a card face down and end my turn."he said as the monster appeared.

Lee draws, and glances her cards over. "I'll start by flip summoning my face down monster, the Femme Fatale member, Sammi the Scout (500/500), which lets me add a teammate of her's to my hand," she says, and takes a card out of her deck as a young girl in armor appears. "But I'll save that for later, I'll sacrifice Sammi, to summon the strength and endurance of the Femme Fatales, Tawny the Amazon (2200/2000)!" She says, and a muscular woman in armor carrying a battle axe appears.

Ashrin just watched the female warrior arrise, making no move to counter the powerful summon.

"Okay, now I'll play the spell card Amazonian Charge, since I have Tawny on the field, I can summon this monster from my hand, the first of the Femme Fatale Pets, the Horse Thief-Star!" Lee continues, and a galoping is heard as a black horse gallops in, bowing her head as she stops next to Tawny. "And get this, she acts as a union monster of sorts, equipping to Tawny and giving her an additional effect, so I'll have Tawny attack your magician with Fatale Axe Smash!"

[Jason-Kun]

Jason let out a wide grin. "I activate the quick-play trap card Monster Incarnation. This cuases your monster to be reborn on my side of the feild to take your attack!" he said. Twany disolved and appeared on his side of the feild in defense mode. The blast hit her and she was destroyed.

"Sorry, but you activated my trap card, Loyalty to the Thief Queen, this trap card can only be activated when you target one of my Femme Fatales with a card that would bring her to your side, all I have to do is discard one card..." Lee says, placing a card in her graveyard. "And I can negate your card, and then attack twice with Tawny, so I can destroy both of your monsters!"

"You mean my one monster?"he asked lazily. He groaned as he lost 100 life points, bringing his life points down to 7900.Then he groaned again as he lost 22 more life points giving him 5700 life points. "Anyways are you don e yet?"he growled.

[Ruin Queen of Oblivion]

(I was talking about Ashrin's monster, but that's okay.)

"No, you have to discard cards from your deck equal to the total amount of cards in your field and hand, twice since Tawny damaged you twice, which I believe you have to discard 6," Lee says, and Tawny grabs 6 cards forcefully from Jason's deck and shoves them in his graveyard. "And now I'll end my turn."

[Irae K Strife]

Ashrin merely smirked as her facedown monster was killed, revealed to be a weak-looking ninja. "sadly, for you..." The ninja falls back after driving a kunai into Tawny's stomach, and disappears to the graveyard. "when my ninja is destroyed, it takes the attacking monster with him." She glanced over her hand and sighed. "it can't be helped. i'll play the spell card cost down." Ashrin glanced at the other two duelist before continuing. "i will summon ninja lv5[1800/1500], in attack mode. next, i will equip him with the magic card black pendant, which will boost his attack to twenty-three hundred."
