The Pokemon Hospital: Third Floor
The third floor of the Nishihara building is as cheery as you can get...in a white, sterile environment. Here is the Pokemon Hospital, a place for seriously injured Pokemon - wild and captive - go to get medical help. Some of the Pokemon are more sick than others...but many of them would appreciate a visit! Some of the outpatients may need good homes, temporary and permanent, so if you feel up to it, maybe you should check them out? (You have to make the cut, though, and Mary-Sues aren't really good caretakers.)
The in-patients:
Zubat
Gender: Female
Level: 8
Group: 1
Ability: Inner Focus: prevents flinching
Attacks: Leech Life, Supersonic
Personality: Cheery and optimistic. She loves it when people visit her, since it makes her really happy. And she likes being happy!
Notes: Zubat (wild) was found in Sunstone Tunnel ripped to shreds and almost dead. It is still unknown what actually hit her, but she is doing remarkably well. However, one wing and one leg had to be amputated, so she can't move very well. Her other leg is also weak, though it doesn't need to be amputated, meaning she is bedridden. However, she loves visitors, and is very optimistic! So so are we.
Goldeen
Gender: Female
Level: 5
Group: 1
Ability: Water Veil: cannot be burned
Attacks: Peck, Tail Whip, Water Sport
Personality: Kind of depressed. She can't talk, can't see, and is confined to a large bowl of water.
Notes: Goldeen (tame) was gotten from a breeder when she hatched unable to see or speak. She had some problems, as she kept getting into accidents. One accident landed her in the hospital, where she stays to get care for her depression and physical state. Visitors sometimes help.
Tropius
Gender: Male
Level: 25
Group: 2
Notes: shiny
Ability: Chlorophyll: speed is raised in sunlight
Attacks: Growth, Razor Leaf, Stomp, Sweet Scent
Personality: Angry at his trainer, angry at the world, angry at visitors. Sometimes he calms down, but not usually. Don't be alarmed if he uses Razor Leaf on you - he has really bad aim on account of only having one eye.
Notes: Tropius (tame) came from an abusive trainer. He was often beat, or not healed after battles. He lost one eye and has a large wound on his back. We expect scarring and restrained movement when he gets better. Visitors are welcome, but we require you must have a staff member, as he often attacks.
The out-patients:
Bayleef
Gender: Female
Level: 28
Group: 2
Ability: Overgrow: when health gets low, grass power is raised by 1/2
Attacks: Razor Leaf, Reflect, Poisonpowder, Synthesis
Personality: Sort of cheery. She has some sort of mental inhibitor, and often has a warped sense of reality. This leads to strange reactions, hallucinations, and other things...so sometimes she displays weird emotions. They're always extreme, though.
Notes: We're not really sure what's wrong with Bayleef (tame). She came to us from somebody who couldn't keep her, on account of her mental disability. She has a warped sense of reality, and can't tell reality from fantasy. Sometimes she gets scared or angry for no reason...she needs a calm trainer who can take care of her. Other than that, she's physically healthy, though we do not recommend battles. If you want to visit her, we would highly recommend it! It reallly helps!
Swellow
Gender: Male
Level: 46
Group: 3
Ability: Guts: when inflicted with a status condition, attack is raised by 1/2
Attacks: Focus Energy, Double Team, Endeavor, Aerial Ace
Personality: Used to have depression, but is getting better. Tries to see the bright side of things, though sometimes has trouble. He would like to battle sometimes, when he is better.
Notes: Swellow (wild) was found in a state of depression, and wouldn't eat. He was brought in for malnutrition as well, and was slowly brought to a stable point. He is much better, though not quite ready to leave yet. We would like him to go to a home with a kind trainer who can handle his depression. Visitors would be appreciated, though we don't want him battling yet.
