((Note - make a new thread when you use the trading center. Then just follow the instructions listed below. Remember, this is a text-based RP, so make it third-person and et-cetera.))
The Trading Center: Second Floor
This large, spacious floor is home to a number of state-of-the-art trading machines. They do the paperwork for you in the blink of an eye! Rather useful, don't you think? They can even trade with trainers in other regions or en route to a Jenta city! There is a large bulletin board taking practically the whole of one of the walls. That is where all the Pokemon for trade are listed, one for each flier. There is also at least one staff member-slash-receptionist behind a large desk next to the bulletin board.
The receptionist:
One of the staff members of the Nishihara Building is always behind this, doing some sort of computer work. If you need to offer a Pokemon for trade, you need to give them a copy of the flier you want to put on the bulletin board, so they can enter it into the computer. Likewise, if you want to trade a Pokemon for one of the ones offered on the board, you need to bring them the flier. They do the computer searches, and find the other trainer for you, since sometimes they need to be contacted through a phone call.
The bulletin board:
Here are all the fliers with Pokemon for trade. If you find one that interests you, rip off a portion of the bottom (it has the identification number the receptionist needs to do a computer search), and bring it to the receptionist. Then they can hook you up with the other trainer to perform needed negotiations. If you can work something out, it's off to the trading machines!
The fliers/Pokemon offered:
Krabby
Gender: Female
Level: 24
Group: 1
Nickname: Clara
Ability: Shell Armor: opponent's moves cannot critically hit
Attacks: Harden, Vicegrip, Mud Shot, Surf
Personality: Pretty nice, easygoing, good in battle. Keeps a good head about her.
Trainer: Kristen (NPC)
Location: Iikagen City
Notes: Clara is pretty good, but I don't like krabby much. She's trained to the highest level for Group 1, so she's good for the Underwater Arena. I want a Pokemon that can fly, and I want it in between level 20-30 (inclusive). Negotiations are open.
Badge Requirement: Freeze Badge and Terrain Badge
Dragonair
Gender: Male
Level: 37
Group: 2
Nickname: David
Ability: Shed Skin: status conditions are healed in 1 to 3 turns
Attacks: Thunder Wave, Twister, Dragon Rage, Slam
Personality: Vicious, wild, untamed, and doesn't like humans. Won't listen to anybody, won't get close to anybody, and is generally hateful.
Trainer: Samantha (NPC)
Location: Trading Center
Notes: David is way too wild for me to handle. He was even mean to the other dratini when he was younger...I think he was born with it. I'll take something nicer! Any level! I just want somebody to take him who can handle him! Open to negotiation!
Notes (other): HE'S MAH BOYFRIEND! NO TOUCHIE! *Twister'd*
Badge Requirement: Peony Badge
Aerodactyl
Gender: Male
Level: 15
Group: 1
Nickname: Blaze
Ability: Rock Head: receives no recoil damage
Attacks: Wing Attack, Agility, Bite
Personality: Lazy. Nice, but lazy. Doesn't like to battle, doesn't even like to talk or make decisions. Mostly, he just likes to sleep.
Trainer: Vince (NPC)
Location: Trading Center
Notes: Blaze is just too lazy! He won't fight at ALL! I need somebody who can fight...somewhere in the high teens in terms of levels (I'm going to fight the Iikagen City gym). If you have something that is good for the Iikagen City gym, I'm all ears. I'm open to negotiation, too.
Badge Requirement: Freeze Badge
Pupitar
Gender: Female
Level: 45
Group: 3
Nickname: Salan
Ability: Shed Skin: recovers from status conditions in 1 to 3 turns
Attacks: Sandstorm, Rock Slide, Thrash, Scary Face
Personality: Trained for battle. She doesn't really have a personality yet...she just does what her trainer tells her to, and gets on with her life.
Trainer: Trading Corp. (NPC Corporation)
Location: We have an office in the Nishihara Building
Notes: Salan is one of the Pokemon we offer. We will take much of anything, or a weaker Pokemon with money. Salan is a good battler. Open to negotiation.
Badge Requirement: None
Duskull
Gender: Female
Level: 10
Group: 1
Nickname: Kimma
Notes: shiny
Ability: Levitate: ground-type attacks won't work
Attacks: Leer, Night Shade, Disable
Personality: Nice, but a bit egotistical. She knows she is special, since she's shiny, and wants everybody to know it. And respect her. And by respect, she means bow down to her sheer awesomeness.
Trainer: Sandra (NPC)
Location: Sapphire City
Notes: Kimma is kinda freaky...I don't like ghosts! Plus, I don't like her attitude. Can you trade me a Pokemon of a similar level (Group 1, level 10 or below) that is nicer? Or at least not a ghost? I am super open to negotiation!
Badge Requirement: None
Successful trades:
None thus far.
