"Well, that's the last time we're asking a psychic pokemon for directions! I mean, I just asked 'do you know the way to route 1?' and he ends up teleporting me to this...Place!" Terra complains as the warm island wind hit her face and her tiny pig tails swave back and forth.

Gale replied with a sheepish grin. <Sorry! I wanted to help Terra find route 1 quickly so, I kind of rushed and asked the quiet Abra without thinking that he may do any harm. Forgive me, Terra.> he said ias he slightly bowed.

A reassuring smile formed in Terra's face. "It's okay, it's not your fault. You were just trying to help. Now, let's go find some people and ask where exactly we are." she said walking aimlessly from one place to another.

[Nyaa-Neko]

A nincada crawled over to them with a confused look on her face. "<Wait...were you here just a minute ago? Or...oh man, it was a psychic again...probably. Those things are always messing with my head.>" And with that, she gave a defeated sigh.

Terra smiled at the scorpion pokemon. "Would you care for a battle?", she said taking out a pokeball and holding it high. "If your still able to fight, of course. I might as well train since I'm here." she said with a smile and Gale cheered happily beside her.

[Nyaa-Neko]

((Nincada's a bug...not a scorpion...-_-;; ))

The nincada shrugged in a strange way, considering her lack of defined shoulders. "<Sure, why not? I'm in Group 2, by the way.>"

Terra nodded and after a moment of thinking, she threw a pokeball on the ground which immediately burst opened. Revealing a small fire-type pokemon. Pyro, the Cyndaquil just looked at his surroundings and knew it was time for his first battle. He impatiently waited for Terra for her orders as he galred at his apponent.

"Pyro, use your Leer attack!" she commanded and Gale happily repeated what his trainer had said over a million times to make sure that the ill tempered Cyndaquil had heared what his trainer had said. Pyro, holding his temptation to blow up the Gligar, just snorted and did the glaring-thingy-ma-jegar.

[Nyaa-Neko]

The bug shivered, feeling a little weaker. That was a pretty creepy glare...

So she retaliated with a Harden, creating a shiny film over her body that soon hardened into a shell. Too bad Ember would go right through it...

"PYRO, EMBER ATTAA-"

"< I GOT IT, I'm not deaf. You don't need to scream!>"

"Oh...Sorry."

Pryo just shook his head in dismay and instantly shot few fire balls at the bug pokemon. Terra gave a satisfied smile and Gale just waited to see the results.

[Nyaa-Neko]

The bug shrieked as the fire slapped against her barrier, going right through it. She scuttled around, trying (and kinda failing) to put it out. Eventually the attack subsided, though she sustained a rather bad burn.

"<That hurt!>"

So she retaliated by going for a Fury Swipes. She scuttled up to Pyro, jumped up, and slashed three times with her claws towards his facial area.

Pyro's flames on the back got higher indicating that he had became angry. Terra hugged Happy tightely as the Panphy cheered the pokemon of his team, struggling to get loose and help his partner. "Er, another Ember attack. Please."

Without staring back at Terra, he kept his glare at the bug pokemon and shot of a few more embers. Small burst od flames were thrown at the bug pokemon.

[Nyaa-Neko]

This time, the flames successfully knocked out the nincada, and she fell to the ground in a singed heap.

Well, before a nidoran dashed by, picked her up, and zoomed off again.

Terra's Pokedex beeped, indicating that her level 25 cyndaquil had successfully defeated a level 26 nincada, giving him 1 1/2 levels of experience. And, just in case Terra was too lazy to do the math, that put him at level 26 1/2, meaning that he could evolve. Did Terra want to evolve her cyndaquil into a quilava? It told her to press A if she did, B if she did not.

[ You call adding 25 and 1 1/2, math!?...>> << >>]

As soon as the battle finished. Cyndaquil had started to glow. His legs spreaded widely and the flames behind his back became more flame-ish than before. He had quite a smooth look now. Terra, Blue, and Happy cheered as their team mate defeated the pokemon.

"<Wow...You're big.>" commented the little Phanpy and Pyro just silently walked over to hsi trainer without a word. After a while, all three of them had started travelling and discovering the rest of the island.

[Nyaa-Neko]

"<Wow...he is big,>" chirped something from the bushes. A little bell-like creature floated out, a smile on his face. "<He evolved...so, are you going to battle me, then?>"

The chingling smiled, but prepared himself for battle anyway.

[Yuri]

[I'll just guess it's a group one. XD]

Terra smiled. "Wow...So pretty. I've never seen one of those before." Terra said quitely staring at it and both Blue and the newly evolved Happy nodded while Pyro stared at a far away distance, thinking of something. "Sure, we're up for a fight." she said and motioned Blue to come to the field. Blue nodded, "<A'hve been thinking when my next battle is going to come.>"

And with that Terra had ordered to use the Bite attack. And at once, the Totodile had opened it's jaws and quickly swooped infront of her opponent to bite it.

[Nyaa-Neko]

"<Owch!>" The chingling squeaked as the totodile's jaws smashed against his bell-y exterior. So he used Growl, growling cutely, to try to make the next attack a bit less...owchy...

"How about...Your Water Gun?" she said eyeing the baby pokemon unsurely. The chingling was so cute! Although, Blue didn't concentrate on it's opponent's outer appereance and instead shot of a strong Water Gun which was streaming out of her big mouth.

"<Uhmm..go easy on it.>" said Happy from behind,

[Nyaa-Neko]

The little bell gasped for air after the water crashed down around him, then floated away from the scary water...

"<That was cold!>" he squeaked angrily. The he zoomed forward, whipping out his ribbon-tails, then wrapping them around Blue in a ferociously cute Wrap attack.

[Yuri]

Blue blinked as the bell pokemon wrapped itself to her. "<That Chingling gets cuter and cuter!...>" Happy cried happily and the Donphan rolled over the floor because of the excitment that the battle created.

"Use your Scratch Attack!" Terra yelled out and Blue tried to claw the small bell pokemon.

[Nyaa-Neko]

The "small bell Pokemon" then decided it was a good time to faint, and did so.

Terra's Pokedex beeped, and informed her that her level 5 totodile defeated another level 5 Pokemon (albeit chingling), and gained one level. In case Terra was not able to do simple addition, that meant her lovely little croco-blue was level 6. It also meant that it learned Water Gun.

[Err, my Totodile is level 14...And Blue learned Water Gun in another thread remember? Then I gave her alot of rare candies and stuffz. ]

Terra cheered as the chingling fainted and Blue had won yet another battle. "Good job!" she yelled after she threw a pokeball at the uncouncious pokemon. Blue had a proud smug on her face as Happy came and leaped on her. Pyro one the other hand, just stood there, quitely, as usual

The pokeball flew true, impacting into the mettal side of that chingling, and the burst of white energy sucked the psychic type in. The pokeball rocked twice, and then Terra's pokedex beeped, telling her that she had caught a chingling, and his stats began to scroll on the page.
