Alright! For the opening of the mini-region of Miteinjan (which I will finish, by the way, just later), I'm holding a giveaway! Now then... Something you may or may not have picked up about Miteinjan: it's a pretty poor region (in the scheme of things). You won't find shops with cheap goods, and you'll probably have to work hard to get a Pokeball or a potion - good luck trying to get both. Oh, and pyen? Yeah. Don't think you'll get any from a nice "gym leader". There's none to be given away...feel lucky Kauri is backed by a wealthy company here on mainland Jenta, or you'd get a either a starter or the money, not both. There's no evil plot going on...Miteinjan is just a region in need of an economic boost. That's why it lied on all the tourism fliers about how nice a region it was, how it was the perfect vacation spot (it is if you like scenery, it's not if you like commodities), and how easy it was to become a successful trainer there. It needed the trainer tourists to come and spend money, since it sure wasn't going to start giving away stuff to its own people (not a wise investment in the long run). So here's a giveaway to hopefully jumpstart your journey into Miteinjan. Here's what you gotta do: In light of the "Miteinjan choice" (a slang phrase used to jab at the fact that you can often only buy one thing you need - such as the typical "Pokeball or potion" dilemma), I'm going to offer you a list of stuff. Pick three, and you will get them. Just copy and paste the list and bold/underline/italicize/capitalize/put an arrow next to/etc. the three things you want. THE LIST OF STUFF (PICK THREE THINGS):- A tough Pokemon to fight off bad things (level 10) - A hardy Pokemon to help you travel (level 10) - A rare Pokemon you might want to sell for a nice price (level 10) - A Pokemon egg - Three Pokeballs - One Great Ball - Three Potions - One Super Potion - One Revive - One elemental stone (please specify: ___) - One held-item that powers up type-specific attacks (please specify: ___) - 2500 pyen - A bag of assorted berries - A Pokemon translator chip for your Pokedex - Something random

Question, what exactly is the Pokèmon translator chip? Does it simply allow you to understand Pokèmon or does it have some higher resion?

Yup. Y'know how on mainland Jenta, all the Pokemon "talk"? Well, they're really just being translated by a region-wide translator program. That's why you can understand other people's Pokemon and wild Pokemon. A chip is something you put in your sorry excuse for a Pokedex so you can understand your Pokemon, and your Pokemon only. You can usually find one for sale...sometimes. Beach Houses will probably have 'em.

Wait according to the information in the first town of Miteinjan you get a status checker not a pokdex but down there it says pokedex, mind clearing that up?

Alright, I'm going to make two lists. The first is the list of what everybody gets, and the second is the list of all the stats and egg descriptions.
Once I put your stuff in the list, you may either have your character find it lying on the ground (or something), or have them already in your pack.
What people get:
Nick the Rabbit: - Pokemon egg (see list below for description) - 3 Pokeballs - Translator chip
Ian the Jolteon: - Machop (see list below for stats) - 3 Pokeballs - 2500 pyen
MorriganFearn: - Pokemon egg (see list below for description) - 3 Pokeballs - 2500 pyen
Emma: - Pokemon egg (see list below for description) - 2500 pyen - Translator chip
Jason-Kun: - Tauros (see list below for stats) - 3 Pokeballs - Translator chip
Pascal: - 3 Pokeballs - Berry bag: 10 oran, 3 pecha, 3 cheri, 3 chesto, 1 rawst, 1 aspear, 1 sitrus, 1 starf (I'd sell this if I were you) - Translator chip
Ninetales: - 3 Pokeballs - 2500 pyen - Random thing: Drowzee (see list below for stats)
Ruin Queen of Oblivion: - Unown Y (see list below for stats) - 3 Pokeballs - 3 Potions
Stats and Descriptions:
Nick the Rabbit's Pokemon egg: --> A deep, dark blue. Almost a single color, save for the almost unseeable bright red stripe around the middle (it's very thin, so it's pretty hard to see). It will probably hatch in a couple weeks, as it looks pretty well-developed.
Ian the Jolteon's machop: Machop Gender: female Level: 10 Nickname: you choose Ability: Guts - when afflicted with a status condition, attack power is raised by 1/2 Attacks: Low Kick, Leer, Focus Energy, Thunderpunch Personality: Cheerful, loyal, and hardworking. However, she can get a bit worked up about battles (she's a tad too competitive and sometimes-violent for her own good), and overexert herself...and perhaps beat up on the opponent more than she should.
MorriganFearn's Pokemon egg: --> Black with red splotches and yellow splotches all over. It's a bit on the small side, and is a bit longer than a lot of eggs. It will probably hatch in a week or two, as it seems well on it's way through development.
Emma's Pokemon egg: --> A pale brown with dark brown speckles all over. The shell feels very rough and thick. It's pretty big, and will hatch in a few weeks.
Jason-Kun's tauros: Tauros Gender: male Level: 10 Nickname: you choose Ability: Intimidate - upon entry to battle, opponent's attack power is lowered Attacks: Tail Whip, Rage, Horn Attack, Refresh Personality: Gruff, stoic, and mostly silent. He usually just grunts a one-word answer, and he means business. He'll do what you say, but he won't say much about it. He's pleasant enough to not be unfriendly, though, and does his best in battles.
Ninetales' drowzee: Drowzee Gender: female Level: 10 Nickname: you choose Ability: Insomnia - prevents induced sleep Attacks: Hypnosis, Disable, Confusion, Fire Punch Personality: A rather young drowzee, she's always trying to be in-your-face about everything. She's always saying something, and has too much energy to use. She's bouncy, a bit of a handful, but not sugary. Just energetic and a bit naiive.
Ruin Queen of Oblivions' unown Y: Unown Y Gender: not applicable Level: 10 Nickname: you choose Ability: Levitate - ground-type attacks have no effect Attacks: Hidden Power - poison Personality: Bland - rather typical of genderless species. It usually just stares at you, does what you say, but doesn't try to be your friend. It never really cares enough about anything to have an opinion, and just goes along with the authoritative figure - it's really just easier.
...Whew! That took awhile. This is still open, by the way!

I wouldne worry too much. The eggs' outer appearances don't usually have much to do with what's inside, according to Nyaa. As in life, appearances are deceiving.
