"Now that's just gross..." Rain mutters. "Hera, use ember!"

The gulpin, once again, failed to move, and simply took the attack. Luckily, all the Amnesia attacks paid off, and the ember stung...but didn't hurt.
However, the hurt was still too much, so he forgot everything...and did another Amnesia.

"Another Amnesia attack? Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll forget he's battling..." Rain mutters as Hera tries yet another ember attack.

((I <3 Gulpin.))
The embers barely even hurt now! The gulpin was happy...or, at least, he drooled with more enthusiasm. In fact, he decided he was on a role...and used Amnesia once again!

"Maybe if I just leave, he won't notice..." Rain mumbles. "This isn't going to work, Hera return," Rain says, glances at the Gulpin, and just walks away.
(I was getting tired of that thing anyway.)

Slowly, the gulpin oozed after Rain. He forgot why...but weren't they in the middle of something.
Meanwhile, a Kirlia darted by, actually running at full speed. A green espeon was at his heels, snapping. "<GET THIS CRAZY THING AWAY FROM ME!>" He screamed as he ran off into the distance, carnivorous espeon right behind.
Of course, the gulpin took no notice...

(I'll decide what to do about those two tomorrow, give me pointers if you so desie, because I honestly don't know if I should stop the Espeon or not.)

((Doesn't matter, they're gone now, anyway. ^_^;; ))
The gulpin suddenly fainted, Rain's Pokedex indicating that the battle had given Hera half a level. Then the whole building shook, and the green Pokemon disappeared.
The only thing that broke the stillness was an ekans who slithered by.

And then Rain did the thing most people would do when confronted with such creatures, she screamed her head off.
Apparently someone forgot to tell whoever's in charge of sending wild pokemon after Rain that she has a rather severe case of ophidophobia, she's afraid of snakes.
"Go Hera, I don't care what, just get rid of that thing..." Rain says with a shudder while letting out her Combusken who uses an ember attack on the Ekans.
(It was this or insects.)

The ekans, for one, looked rather shocked as the fighting chicken blew flames at him. Hissing and spitting, he turned on the flightless bird, his yellow eyes flashing. He then lunged at Hera, his jaws wide open in preparation for a Bite attack.
((Poor Rain. ^_^;; ))

Hera kicks at the snake with a double kick, seeing as how Rain is currently in ophidophobic shock.

The ekans, being a poison type, rolled away from the kick without taking too much damage. He then went for her stomach with his next Bite.

Hera countered with another ember attack.

The snake fell unconscious, and rolled away. Rain's Pokedex informed her that Hera had gained 1/2 a level, putting her at level 18.
Meanwhile, the mansion shook again...and the Pokemon changed once more.

Rain recalls Hera, a little relieved now. I hope that means there's not going to be another snake... she thinks.

A roselia wandered up and stared blankly at Rain.

"Hello," Rain says, looking at the Roselia.

The roselia simply blinked.

"Well, at least its not staring unblinkingly," Rain mutters.

Then the mansion shook, the roselia disappeared, and a bidoof walked out. The bidoof simply smiled blankly at Rain, assuming she was going to be wanting to battle.
((Cuz that's kinda what you're here for...))
