As Rachel continued to walk along the path the air was damp, but the sun was beginning to light up the clouds, and chase away the cloaking mists. A few minutes on a pile of smooth rocks fell onto the road and something squeaked in alarm. A small blue body shot toward the pile and a wooper glared challengingly at Rachel.

((Sorry. I lose track of which "R" character you're using for which RP ^^;.))

(That's okay.)
Rachel looks at the Wooper, and shrugs. "A Wooper, huh? Did I do something bad?"

Rachel hadn't done anything bad in particular. This wooper had just lost control of his lucky rock collection, and it had fallen in the road. Now the human was far too close to his precious rocks. He jumped up and down, trying to tell her to back off. However, since she wouldn't the young amphibian squirted a water gun at her, growling.

This time, the water gun got her in the face. "Great, that's twice in one day..." Rachel mutters, and backs away, taking a towel that she conveniently had in her bag, and starts drying her face off.

The wooper hopped after her angrily, his ire up. Oh, he'd tail whip her to death if she touched any of his precious rocks. He needed his collection of round things, darnit. They were fun to play with.
((Yeah... Well, just be glad you'd not in a fiery region, or pokemon would probably be shooting embers at Rachel it issue a challenge.))

(What should I do here? Battle it, or let it get its rocks?)

((I'd battle it, since your unnamed Geodude needs the experience. The rock thing is just a mod excuse for the pokemon to want to battle.))

(If I catch it, should I find the rocks afterwards?)
"Okay, lets do this, go Geodude!" Rachel shouts, and tosses a pokeball, letting out her Geodude. "Start with tackle!"

((It would be a nice move for the wooper, and he'd certainly like Rachel the better for it if she gave him his rock collection.))
It was a rock! That was round! These were the wooper's first happy impressions, before the geodude slammed into him, knocking his smaller body down. That hurt! The armless amphibian rolled upright, anger flashing in his eyes. He didn't want to ruin the roundness of the perfect rock with a water gun. So, he'd have to think of something else. Ah hah!
He flipped back on himself, wisting in midair to comdown facing away from the geodude. This accomplished he trotted backward at the male pokemon, and started to tail whip it across the face.

This seems to tick the Geodude off a little bit, and he tackles the Wooper again. Okay, that Wooper might be crazy, but a catch is a catch, unfortunately, Rachel thinks.
(Yeah, I'll get them.)

The harsh tackle knocked the wooper flying this time. He got up painfully, and hopped back and forth on unsteady legs, his body feeling like one giant bruise. He charged at the geodude again, flipping around at the last minute to deliver another punishing tail whip.
