As Anna picked up the pace, she got deeper and deeper into the fog, it too growing thicker and murkier until, at one point, she stopped moving. Looking around, deciding where to go, Mattie laughed.
+We're looossstttt!!!+ He said in a perky, hyper-manner.
Anna growled. Hating to be wrong, she shook her head and agrued, <We're not lost.... I'm deiciding where to turn to next....>
The wooper was about to reply when they heard a sound from behind them and span around, startled. Mattie continued smiling. Goody! Another pokemon to be friends with!
Anna, though, was reluctant and even more ticked when she turned around to see the female. She had just seen her land badly, which made the nidoran chuckle. But it quickly faded as she resented to wingull's appearance. Bitterly, she snapped, <Exploring... and staying away from my trainer. What does it look like?!>. The left side of her face switched to her scowl, along with a glower from her left eye, as she showed her deformed-ness.
Mattie, excited to meet this stranger, happily perked up, +I'm Mattie. This is Anna - excuse her sour tone. What's your name?!+ He giggled, continue to dance around happily.

<No trainer?> the wingull grinned. It was always fun to rough up trained pokemon. They strutted around while wild pokemon actually had to earn their living. Without a second thought she lunged at Anna with her beak, hoping to stab the gross little pokemon.

<I unfortunately have a trainer. Why should you care?!> Stamping her foot, she thought, I'll show all these 'perfect' pokemon one day.... And I'll make them pay... Yeah, I can't wait for that! Turning around, she was about to head off when Mattie cried,
+The Wingull's about to bump into you!+
Spinning around, she was met by a hurry of feathers and a beak, as she started being pecked and stabbed at by the wingull.
Mattie gasped, running around in circles. He guessed, with her tough attitude, Anna could do it but.... The blue pokemon leapt towards the opponent, spitting a water gun at the wingull.
Anna, in an attempt to get the wingull off of her, started trying to double kick from underneath.

Neither move hurt the wingull very much. Anna's kick boosted the flying type into the air. Within a few wing flaps, she managed to get high enough to by pass her fellow water type's attempts to hose her down. She glided along the path for a minute, shedding water, and working her muscles to ensure that all was well from the bruising that she had gotten in both attacks.
Then she circled around, and flew back toward the two targets of her pranks. The little amphibian looked pretty tasty, actually. The wingull dove to peck him as well.

Tensing up, all she did was glower angrily at the wingull's stomach as her own move boosted her opponent up. Forgetting about the Water Gun, the nidoran stood up, only to be pushed back down by the move of Mattie. Spluttering slightly, she glowered furiously at her companion and cautiously stood up again.
<Whoops! Sorry!> He called out, twitching a bit. But Anna just ignored him, muttering something under her breath.
The nidoran's eyes then quickly darted up to the sky, scanning the foggy place fast before the wingull could ambush her. Jumping around as she turned a bit at intervals, she spotted the wingull skimming something - water, she suspected - and then disappearing as the fog got heavier. Cursing, she leapt about wildly, waving the fog as she snalr,ed +Gosh, why is it so darn foggy?! Go AWAY fog!+ Too busy trying to shake away the fog, she did not notice anything the wingull or Mattie was planning. She just got into a fit of anger on her own, getting angry at... fog.
He scanned the place, on the look out for the wingull - or something that looked like her. His heart raced as his adrenaline rose, even those his face was just perky, not concentrated or anything, just perky. He didn't spot her until she was half way to him. Acting quickly, he shot out balls of Mud out at the blurry image while his deformed friend just got her barings and noticed the wingull. ((I am SO sorry for the long wait. I typed up replies but then my computer kept dying and then I didn't have inspiration on other days... Sorry ^^ )

(('Sokay. Just as long as you're feeling better from your cold. It's awful to be sick during the summer holidays.))
The flying type veered away seeing the heavy mass of mud. Unlike the other two, her keen eyes allowed her to see though the thick fog. There was a reason that wingull were common around these parts. Perhaps it was unfair of her, to pick on the small ground pounders. She had a total advantage over the little blue wriggler -- his water attacks were annoying, but not harmful, and like all birds this one could dodge ground attacks with ease. The thorny one might have been dangerous. Paras sometimes hid under thorny plants like that pokemon, and it always hurt to go after them when they had scuttled under that cover.
However, the bullying bird pokemon thought gleefully, whatever the thorny one might be able to do, she was stupid. It would have been different if these things had a trainer, but they didn't, and that meant she could push them around.
She slid onto another current of air, and took another pass at Mattie, her beak jutting forward proudly as she aimed to hit the water pokemon.

Anna snarled, not giving up the fight. Leaping about, she bounded over to her companion and growled. +She's dodging everything and we're taking all the moves!+ Kicking the ground, she eyed it slightly before looking back up at the wingull.
<Oooh, she seems to like me. Howa bout you launch an attack when she's swooping down to me!> He jumped up and down for a bit as Anna conjured over it. +Not a bad idea...+ She muttered and watched the wingull as she swooped in again.
+Get outta the way!+ She screamed at Mattie.
This time, though, Mattie avoided her attack and as she swooped past him, Anna launched a scratch from the front of her opponent, so she was almost ramming into the nidoran.
Meanwhile, as Sophie finished taking down the tent and putting everything together, she already knew her two first pokemon had ran off. Letting out Niyae, she squatted down in the mist, trying not to topple over and said softly, "Let's go find them." Picking him up, she tenderly picked him up and he hopped onto her shoulder and she started trekking into the fog, going in the direction (unknowingly) that they'd headed off in. ((Unfortunately, I still have school left. but yes, colds are evil. Colds in summer?! It's nuts... XD))

((Ooh, not nice. School is looooong where you live. Still, are you feeling better? Just a reminder: All attacks have to hit unless an accuracy modifier is used, or the type match up is ghost/normal, normal/ghost, fighting/ghost, ground/flying or ground/Levitate. If Mattie, or Anna end up dodging another attack they will be taking critical damage, instead.)) The wingull squawked, as red lines of pain opened in her body. The stinging feeling combined with the force of the nidoran's swatting paw knocked the wingull off her flight path. She was slightly ungainly, in any case, and one wing rose too high in over-correction. The white body of the bird tumbled over in the air, and slammed into the tan bark on her back. She screeched at the indignity. For a moment the tiny webbed feet trod on the air, but the wingull managed to right herself, ruffling her feathers, and trying not to wince at the pain coming from her left wing.

((Oh, I'm feeling much better, thanks x) And I have half a day left (tomorrow's the last day, and it's a half day) so yaaaah, that's good Can't wait! And sorry, I just thought because the wingull sort of evaded the attack that..? And seeing as it was foggy, accuracy falls doesn't it? xP *head desk*)) The blue rat creature grinned slightly as she saw her method working. She let out a bark of laughter as she heard the screech Of course, the whole thing had pushed her onto her back, which waste a few seconds getting up and missing it. Whatever. Back on her paws, she shivered in anticipation before her smile turned into a grin at the look of her face when she winced from the pain of one of the wings. It thrilled her, making her heart quicken. Mattie felt a bit bad for the wingull at the pain but started running over, grabbing the chance, and shooting Mud Shots at her before the Wingull had a chance to escape. ((Brain dead D:))

((I figured that was what was confusing about this place, with other pokemon it is possible to dodge ^^;. Sadly, wingull have Keen Eye, which means no accuracy lowering for them. And since it's a flying type it's naturally immune to ground attacks like Mud Shot.
Still, whoop for summer!))
The wingull stretched out her wings painfully, feeling stiff, and began to run as the wooper came at her. She felt enough of a breeze, and her wings began to beat. She took off, flapping heavily as a glob of mud splattered underneath her white body, staining some of her breast feathers brown.
She hit the air currents, and wheeled in a tight arc. As soon as her eyes hit on the blue creature that had dared to fire at her she shrieked in triumph. The white bird swooped, coming in low again, her mouth open to scream a supersonic at Mattie.

((Oh yeah D: I forgot about that... Darn it XD)) Yeah, still a definite whoop )) Watching this event unfold infront of her, a smirk grew over her face. Just a small one but it was there. As it did, it grew even bigger as she noticed Mattie's attack hit. But she did not attempt to get into the battle, she waited for the surge to grow. And what the wingull would do. Wouldn't want to fall into her trap. But just as she watched the brown hit her, annoyance waved through her, gripping the edge of her rock-hard skin as she realised Mud Shots were useless. Turning to Mattie, she screeched, <Don't you DARE use anymore Mud Shot attacks! They don't affect the dumb bird!>Mattie, turned, listening to this, and nodded. So he obviously payed no attention to the attack that was about to hit him. This made Mattie jump, startled at the loud screech, as it pounded through his tiny ear-drums, confusing him. Blinking a bit, he started to wobble and walk cautiously and unevenly before soon tripping over. As he did, it was a struggle to regain himself and get up. Clearly confused. Anna watched this for a few moment, angry, before looking away. Bounding over, she leapt up and tried to Double Kick at the Wingull.

The flipping of the blue rabbit managed to strike at the wingull, knocking her off the perfect landing, and and causing her a few bruises as she landed heavily on one leg. She turned, her beak clacking angrily. It had almost become more than it was worth to attack these two. She was tired, and every part of her body was sore.
On the other hand, now that she had begun to harry them, it was hard not to carry it out to the end. She would get the fish thing first, and then hopefully live to fight another day. The annoying thorny thing was too much right now. She settled for puffin up her plumage, like feathery pins bristling from a pin cushion, and lunged at the whooper with another peck attack.

Of course, the wingull wasn't the only one in pain; although she refused to admit it, the deformed nidoran couldn't go on fighting forever - it was clear she'd have to give up soon. The fight had to end eventually. Lowering onto one paw, she shaked a bit as she grasped the air and swallowed it, feeling many sores all over her.
Panting, she looked up from her scratches and wounds, at the wingull. Spotting to where she was flying to, Anna started running towards the bird pokemon. Closing in, she leapt up into the air and tried to land a fury of scratches onto her, ignoring the still confused Mattie - who had just managed to fall over. But, annoyingly, she leapt up just after the peck was landed, jabbing into the back of Mattie. He let out a cry of pain, getting jammed into the dirt. Unfortunately, even this did not snap him out of confusion, much to Anna's annoyance.
((Sorry about the wait))

The claws of the nidoran bit into the wingull, causing her to shriek and stumble forward. The world spun around her for a moment, and then she fell flat on the path to lie there unmoving. The wind stirred, and wisps of fog shredded as the sun rose higher in the early morning sky.
((Your pokemon have defeated a level 8 wingull Anna gains 1/2 a level Anna is now level 10 Mattie gains 1/2 a level he is now level 10 1/2
Would you like to time warp? I would suggest that you keep the warp so that it only levels up your highest leveled pokemon to level 14 or 15, otherwise, they may not be able to compete in the gyms in the Beach Houses. If you go somewhere like Coast village or the Beach Houses, and deposit your high leveled pokemon in a PC after the time warp, you could increase the level of your poliwag, and your eggs hatching time without worrying about getting Anna and Mattie too high leveled to compete in the gyms.))

Anna stared at the effects she did to the wingull, leaping back. Cherishing the feeling of the skin wripping as her claws dug into her, she looked back at the wingull. As it fell, she watched it, even after it was fainted. Her heart was still racing, and that was the only warm thing under this cold, misty blanket. Limping over, she prodded it, leaning back incase the wingull was faking. But it seemed it wasn't. A grin - just a small one - appeared on her face and she muttered, <Serves her right,> A few horrific images of the bird and her occured in her head but she turned away, deciding not to do such things. Looking up to the sky, she first thought it was her imagination when everything started to become clearer but, after shaking her head weakly and blinking heavily for a few moments, she realised the place was clearing up. The nidoran looked over at the wooper, who's confusion was wearing off slightly. Another trip onto the floor and she scowled. Idiot. She thought before turning around and collapsing onto the floor, well more sitting than collapsing. At that, Sophie and the small poliwag burst through the clearing just in time to feel the sun stroke her skin eagerly, taking the chance at the fog deciding to take a break. Looking around, Anna was her first immediate glance at. Panting and hurt, Sophie walked cautiously over, kneeling down and spoke the obvious, "Oh, you look hurt." Her reply was a roll of the eyes and a raising of the eyebrow muscle. Leaning back, blushing, she quickly said, "Stupid comment... What hap- oh another stupid though, obviously a battle went on. I can see who won." She smirked. "Yay." The girl spoke in a sort of enthusiastic manner. Spotting the fainted bird, her heart skipped a beat at the sight. "Oh Anna, you didn't kill it, did you?? Killing is so not the answer." Looking back down at Anna, the nidoran snapped; <Course I didn't kill her! Not like I didn't want to... but you really think I'm that cruel?!> Shaking her head, she span around and stomped over to Mattie, who quickly turned into a flash of red energy along with the words, "Confused? Poor thing. Better have a good rest. I'm proud of both of you. Though I'm annoyed you both ran off, it's not really that surprising. Well, you have a pokeball so no-one can catch you! Meaning you could meet your perfect trainer and they could never own you!" Ending it with a proud laugh, she went over to investigate the wingull. I could capture it but... then I'd have to grab my pokeball, chuck it. And then there's healing it and getting to know it. ..... Nah. Plenty of pokemon. Getting up, she looked down at her battered Nidoran. "Come on, let's head to Coast Village to get you guys healed up. As much as I dislike this path, how else am I meant to level up my Poliwag and get my eggs to hatch without training you guys too high? It'd be a disaster if I couldn't enter you in the gym battles, which I'm planning to do." The last bit was more to herself then the others, but Anna still heard it. Ignoring Anna's expressions - whether they be good or bad ones - she walked on behind anna and gave her a small kick. Jumping, Anna cast Sophie a glower before muttering something unintelligble and walking on. "When we get back, I'm getting her a collar and lead - if they have any. Infact..." Too tired to put up with her sour attitude, ugly appearance and the fact that she was probably likely to run away again, Sophie grabbed Anna's pokeball and, before the deformed little rabbit could react or even notice, returned her. Gripping the pokeball, clutching it as the light disappeared into it, she made it smaller and place it on her belt. The young girl then looked over at her Poliwag, who wore a frightened expression, stroked the amphibion with her forefinger before turning back to where she was and leaving. Before she left, a quick glance was done, looking at the fainted wingull, checking nothing had been left, before going. ~~TIMP WARP - 3 DAYS AHEAD Three days... They'd been here three days and there was STILL no sign of civilaization! Just none at all! As she walked along with a wooper at her heels, she screeched, "I think I'm going to go MAD if I don't get out of here! I feel like I'm the only human on earth! Like everyone else has been turned into a pokemon and I was left a human! Coastal village... where are you?!" There had been the breaking point when she almost burst into tears but she luckily kept it together. Giggling, Mattie looked up at his trainer. +oooohhh really?! What human was I? This sounds like a fun game! I can see what human Anna would be! Perhaps she was nice and got deformed in a fire; making her all grumpy and such? Was I handsome? I bet I was!+ the little blue thing then went off into a world of his own, which Sophie let him into. Rolling her eyes, she got out a packet of crips and started eating it. Anna was in her pokeball for obvious reasons; the main ones being that she seemed to bring on so many uncalled for fights and that she was often running off. Unlike Mattie, she could not be trusted. Often times, she could feel Anna's pokeball shaking like crazy, trying to get free but yet hold back at some lengths so that she couldn't. Sometimes Anna did burst out of her pokeball. But today, Anna was being quiet. Despite such terms being slightly unusual, Sophie did not push it. Why ruin such peacefulness? Even if the girl was about to lose it. Of course, she had been let out many times to train and everything. Although it wasn't much to some people, she had managed 3 levels to each other her pokemon over three days - a level each day. Amongst the three days, Sophie had unknowningly gotten lost about three or four times. She had always found her way back onto the path, but getting lost was still aggrivating. If only this place wasn't foggy! As she walked along, pushing away the cloudy air infront of her, she pondered if this place was at all pretty without the fog. What if it was a wonderful, beyond-you-wildest-dreams beautiful paradise behind this fog? Hanging on that idea for a moment, she quickly moved on as the images of her getting all muddy often enough and tripping over many things occurred in her mind. Tutting to herself, her pace remained slow, despite her heart racing at the small worry that she would get stuck here forever and eventually die out here where, years later, after much search, they would find the bones of her and - probably - the bones of the poliwag while an evolved deformed nidorina would leap out, scaring them all away and while the evolved formed of wooper - what was it again? - came out of the shadows beside her before they looked at the bones and ran off into the fog together. At that, the wonders of if anyone had died out here came into her head, replacing those other ideas, and she went into thoughts on the stories of how they'd died. Occasionally, she came out of her daydream - or nightdream, she honestly had no clue what time of day it was after losing her watch in some mud - to check where she was going and that everything was still with her. Every time, she was going in the right direction and everything was with her. Both the wooper and his trainer were in daydreams.
