[Oh noes! =O..Oh, and I think I should really roleplay Xui starting from now on. ] Terra quickly recalled her Growlithe back who was gnarling (sp?) at the Loudred. "Umm, okay." Terra said taken back by the wild pokemon's commanding voice. She motioned Happy - who was poking Blue by his trunk - to fight the Loudred and Happy Happily moved infronf of her to do so. Blue gave a large sigh of relief as he went away. " Use your Take Down Attack, Happy. " Terra said and as soon as she did, fast as lightening, the Donphan leaped towards the Loudred. Xui, her newly caught Chingling, kicked it's small hands and legs in an atempt to break of Terra's grasp. And failed miserably. "< Let me at him!...I wanna fight!...I can take him! > said the Chingling in it's cute-pretending-to-be-touch voice. Terra chuckled in reply. " Not now, later. " she said holding him tightly in a Misty-like fashion.

((Wow...you have 9 Pokemon - did you know that? @_@))
The loudred was knocked back, and hit her head on the rocky wall. She got up, yelling loudly about how much it hurt (though it was mostly filled with dizzy gibberish). She then used Screech, screaming in a high-pitched voice to lower Happy's defenses.
((Horrible post! *dies*))

[ I know and I'm only on my first route! >-< ]
Xui quickly clapped as he was thrilled by the loud screeching attack. And then stopped when he realized that it was his team mate that had his defense lowered. Happy stopped shaking voliently once he heard no sound and laughed at himself. He then quickly swooped in for a Roll Out Attack after Terra had commanded him to do so.

The loudred was knocked back again, and had to pause before she got up again. She didn't want to get lightheaded...
She then glared at the other Pokemon, dashed forward, and attempted to kick the phanpy with some sort of Stomp attack.

The phanpy was taken back and it winced in pain as the attack took place. Terra frowned in worry and Xui, her Chingling patted her as he sat on her shoulder. Terra slightly smiled at the baby pokemon`s cheerful attempt. "Happy, try your Take Down Attack!" Terra called out and Happy gave a slight nod and dashed forward for a Take down attack.

The Take Down proved successful, and the loudred slumped against the wall in a crumpled, unconscious heap.
Terra's Pokedex beeped. "Your donphan has successfully defeated a wild level 49 loudred. Your donphan gains one level, putting it at level 50. The level cap has been reached."
Meanwhile, a lairon trudged up to the group, eyeing them distastefully. "<Aaah, so you're here to train?>" he growled, his voice a deep rumble. "<Well, let's get it over with. Send out your Pokemon, and I'll fight the insolent little beast.>"

Terra nodded nervously and held back Xui as he tried to jump from her lap and punch the Lairon. While Happy happily stood in a charging-type-bull stance, Terra saw this and shook her head. "No Happy, you need a bit of rest first." the trainer said withdrawing him infront the wild Lairon. The Donphan gave a donphan-like pout and made his way to the shiny rocks, dissapointed.
The girl then took out one of her pokeballs and threw it against the ground. "Go...Garnet!" she said and outcame a Growlithe with a sarcastic look, the pokeball bounced from the ground and went back into the trainer's hands. "<Figures>" the dog pokemon said boredly as she eyed the Lairon.
"Garnet, use your Fire Blitz!"
"<Whatever.>" the Growlithe replied with an eye roll, and she preformed the Fire Blitz attack.

The arrogant lairon's eyes widened in surprise as Garnet suddenly burst into flames, ad then seemingly disappeared. The next thing the lumbering rock type knew, heat bit deeply into his iron armor. He bellowed in pain as his bulky plates glowed cherry red, and Garnet rebounded from his hide.
Slowly -- too slowly -- the steel cooled, making pinging noises and becoming far too tight where Garnet had hit. He stomped around, aiming to put one thick leg down on the canine menace.
((Note: Flare Blitz does 1/3 damage in recoil, but Garnet should be able to avoid most of the damage of the stomp, since she's faster than a lairon, and it should take only one more hit from ANY attack to pull this bad boy down ^^.))

[Wow, that's so cool! o-o . Um, am I ready for the Gym leader yet?]
Terra gasped at the steel pokemon raised it's heavly metal-y leg and attempted to smush her cocky Growlithe. Although, because of the Growlithe's speed, it managed to sort of dodge the attack. Her body did dodge. But her tail didn't.
The dog pokemon then let out a big yelp and almost came close to tears. She then turned around and casted a glare at the Lairon. She then clenched her teeth in anger and released plenty of fire from her mouth. Without waiting for her trainer's instruction, the pokemon used Heat Wave.

((Oh boy, no. You only have one pokemon that knows moves that are effective against steel types. And she's weak to the steelix's Rock Throw, and I think the metagross' Meteor Mash. You need to do a couple of things in preparation: 1) Get Garnet to level 50 2) Go to the Move Relearner and get either Earthquake or Magnitude for Happy 3) Catch a water type or another ground type and raise them to level 50
Right now Garnet is your only good pokemon vs. Bahati. You have Happy, but he doesn't know any powerful ground type moves. Or any ground type moves. Garnet will be your shock pokemon to hit hard and fast, but with her stats she can't stand up under a sustained battle. That's where Happy, your power house, comes in. He's got the defense and the type match ups to face Bahati's pokemon. He just doesn't have the moves.
Garet could take care of Muchumba, Bahati's Agrron, but I don't think she could take the steelix. She might be able to dent the metagross, but I also don't think she'd be able to do quite as much damage as you like. Flare Blitz is going to kill her HP faster than an earthquake. Happy should be able to take out the metagross, which only leaves the steelix to find someone to match up against. Steelix have a lot of weaknesses, and I'd also suggest trying to find a dual type, the secondary type strong against either rock or steel attacks. I'll try to get a list of pokemon like that available in Jenta for you.))
The heat blasted into the lairon. He bellowed in pain, his forelegs lifting from the floor, and coming back down again with a trembling thud. His armorwas red hot and running down his sides, and he fell to the earth, rolling inside the tunnel to dampen the pain. However, after a few moments he lay still, unmoving.
Terra's pokedex beeped, telling her that Garnet had defeated a level 48 lairon. Garnet gained a level, and was now level 49 1/2.
