This sent Zach stumbling backwards, even though he wasn't on the main side of it. Rapheal grabbed Jasmine so she didn't get in trouble, and yelled at Zach, <Battle, trainer!>
Oakash fell back, almost falling to the ground. Which would have been bad, since he wasn't all that good at getting back up. Luckily (Or unfortunantly) he was pushed into a wall hard enough to leave a slight imprint of his rock/tree body on it. Painful.
"Oakash...Uh...Low kick!" Zach had had a temporary blank of his pokemon's moves...But for rock throw and low kick. And considering their current position, it probably wasn't a good idea to use rock throw.

The loudred fell painfully on his back as Oakash's rock foot scythed its legs out from under it. He rose slowly, feeling the bruises forming, and ignoring the lightning bolt of pain coursing down his back. He raised his head, and howled, feeling bravery and confidence strengthening him as he reaffirmed his own vocal power.

Zach stumbled backwards a few steps as Jasmine flew into his arms, thouroughly frightened of the Loudred, and held the shaking pokemon close to him while calling out, "Use Faint Attack!" He glanced down at the open pokedex that Rapheal was holding, wondering what block was. He'd have to look it up.
Oakash took a step foward, fading into a shady outline as he did so, before heading foward for a punch/kick sort of attack, since that was really the only type of thing a tree could do during a faint attack.

The loudred flew back, dark energy crackling off him where Oakash had connected. Instead of hitting the floor, this time, however, he hit the wall, unsurprisingly, as there was very little space in the tunnel. The smack of his skin against the rock was worse that then sandy floor, but the blue beast ignored it, in favor of using the wall as a support to keep him upright.
The loudred's large mouth, and sonic waves blasted their way at Oakash again, ripping up the floor of Sunstone tunnel even more.

Oakash skidded backwards, losing his foothold as the floor shifted beneath him and ending up on his back. He thrashed about for a moment, furthering his bruises and hurts even more until he managed to get back on his feet.
Zach shouted out the next command from his seat on the floor, since he'd fallen as well when the attack had changed the interior decorating of the tunnel. "Low Kick!" He coughed, covering his mouth as the dust settled. Rapheal helped him up, as Jasmine squeaked and tunneled beneath the floor while neither of them were looking, her head popping up a moment later as she watched from the 'safety' of her undertunnel tunnel.
Oakash strode foward quite a few steps before he was in any position to use the attack.

The loudred fell, his stubby legs neatly taken out from under him by the sudowoodo's scything kick. And when this boy fell, he fell hard, with pain shooting up hios back. The agony must have reached the tiny thing between his eyes that he called a brain, for his eyes rolled up in his head after a few moments, and the big monster went limp.
A mysterious piece of paper laned on top of Raphael's furry eared head, as soon as the loudred's body relaxed.

OoC: -dances- 100 posts!
BiC: "Good job, Oakash! How about a rest? ...Then I can get out of this creepy place." Zach shuddered, suddenly remembering (now that the battle was over) that he was in a tunnel. It was semi-okay though, since it wasn't dark.
<A rest sounds...good...> Oakash began to sway, disapearing as Zach recalled him. He /was/ tired after all. He'd been beaten, captured, fought with a Slugma, and just won against a Loudred. Very tiring.
Rapheal swiped the paper from his head, holding it in his claws. < Hey Zach. Ya might want to read this. Look helpful to me. > He held the piece of paper up to Zach, then went to dig Jasmine out of her whole, and continue down the tunnel.
Zach took the paper, looked back at the Loudred, decided it would probably wake up in a moment (it didn't seem like it felt pain much) and hurried after them, eager to be out of the tunnel /before/ the Loudred woke up. He looked at the paper and read it when he caught up to them, glad for the light of the tunnel for yet another reason.

The paper said: "Congratulations for beating a level 47 loudred with your level 47 sudowoodo. Oakash gains 1 level. Oakash is now level 48. There will be no new moves for him until the Pearl/Diamond moves are translated into English. We can tell you that his final move is a fighting move, with 90% accuracy and a base power of 100. If you like, you may visit the move relearner once you get to Nga, and browse the list of available moves for your Sudowoodo to relearn. It can be found here: www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/185/attacksThank you. PS. Beware the angered lairon that your zangoose is about to crash into. She has a toothache." And, almost as Zach had finished reading the letter there was a loud and angry bellow.

Zach squeaked, stopping before he ran into Rapheal, who was stumbling backwards and dragging Jasmine with him.
<Zach! Why couldn't you read faster?> Rapheal panted, putting Jasmine behind Zach, although she clambered up to be held in his arms and stuck her tongue out at the Lairon.
< Nanananana! Can't get me! ...Whats a toothache? >
Zach shook his head, "Um. Use context clues Jasmine. Sorry Rapheal. Steel, steel...Oh! Singe, it's your turn!" Balancing Jasmine in one hand, he released the Slugma, since he didn't really wanted to be flattened by an angry Lairon.
Singe blinked, lighting up the tunnel even more as she appeared in it. <Hello. I'm supposed to fight now, aren't I?>
Zach sighed, "Yes, you are Singe. Flamethrower. Please." He wondered why all of his pokemon seemed to be wierd, before he turned his attention back to the battle. He kept looking over his shoulder, expecting the Loudred to attempt to squish him from behind, which was making him rather jumpy.

Heat blasted through the tunnel, as the flamethrower issued from the slugma's mouth. The lairon was engulfed in the blast of flames. When Singe stopped, the flames still made a pyre out the steel type, flickering and dancing.
Then with a roar, the fires bulged, and the Lairon broke through the edge of the conflagaration. Her black iron skin glowed a cherry red, and the white plates of steel were warped and slightly melted from the heat. She shook herself in pain as steam roase off her bluk. Lifting her blocky head she roared ferociously, intent on making the slugma too scared to face her.
((This could be a chance for sudden exp points for a lesser group pokemon if you so desire. Think of it as my thank you gift for having challeneged my writing skills and not given me writer's block inducing posts while I was modding.))

((Ahahahaha. Thankees. ^^ -rubs hands together- It's the perfect chance to have some fun with Akriso too. -hugs-))
Zach flinched, as Singe followed suit, though in her case she disapeared back into her pokeball with something that sounded very much like a 'Not fighting /that/'. Before he could send in one of his other pokemon though, to finish off the now, he was certain, enraged pokemon, the pokeball in the otherwise empty pocket flashed open, and his terrible fear appeared.
<Oh dear, you shouldn't be doing that. Look! You're terrifying Zach! I won't have it!> Of course, Zach wasn't really terrified of the Lairon, since he was certain any of his other pokemon could have disposed of her easily enough, but of Akriso.
The Shuppet mumbled something that was unintelligable, setting a curse attack. She shuddered for a moment as half of her hp disapeared, but endured it. After all, she was protecting her frail trainer.
Rapheal shook his head. This was going to go bad the moment the Lairon was fainted. He wondered if he could capture it...They were hardy pokemon, and Zach was hardly going to be thinking straight when the Lairon was finished. In fact, he almost wondered if Zach would still be there. In mind of this, he grasped the petrified boy's arm in one hand, eyeing him worredly. It looked like he wasn't even breathing...
<Breathe!> Rapheal hit his trainer when he realized that he really wasn't breathing, and was rewarded with a gasp, though he then had to hold on fiercely to keep him from bolting back down the tunnel.

The burned lairon reeled backward and the evil little sprite of the curse whirled around her body, laughing like a maniac. She couldn't feel more pain, the agony was too excruciating, but a numb weakness settled over her body. She turned dizzily, iron spikes popping out of her tail as she tried to slam into the floating shuppet. However, "floating" was the important word in that statement, while "tried" was the operative one. Her iron tail crashed into the wall, shattering it, and dislodging a piece of sun stone.
She shook her head, and roared again, this time in pleading anger for someone to turn off the world for a moment, please! Meanwhile the curse imp zipped around her, laughing, and stealing what little was left of her HP, leaving her just enough to keep standing, because curses were cruel like that. Then the burn from Singe lanced through her body like a lightning bolt, and she felt her legs buckle. Oh, she thought happily, as the world blackened, and the pain lifted, some had decided to turn off the world.
The golbat, who had been forgotten in the ensuing battles, dropped from the ceiling, and handed a note to Zack. <Hey, Zacky-Whacky, someone told me to give this to you.>
"Your Slugma and your Shuppet each participated in a battle to bring down a level 45 lairon. Singe the slugma gains 1/2 a level. She is now level 46 1/2. Akriso the shuppet gains 5 levels, making her level 30. She is now capable of learning Will-o-Wisp and Faint Attack."

Zach squeaked, and nearly toppled Rapheal in his haste to get out of the tunnel before Akriso saw him, or remembered him, or something, and because the Golbat had effectivly given him enough terror to actually get out of Rapheal's grasp and do so, before he tripped over the Lairon and proceeded to attempt to crawl, except that Jasmine had held him still just long enough for Rapheal to get a good hold on him again. Meaning, the Zangoose sat on him.
<Thank you, Golbat. Although you could have done it a bit more...less frighteningly.> Rapheal sighed as he saw Akriso hurrying over, and dug in Zach's pocket for an empty pokeball. Not for Akriso-she could wait-but to see if he could actually catch a pokemon in Zach's stead. Was there something in the rule book saying a pokemon could, if the trainer was indisposed? Shrugging, he tried it and threw the pokeball at the Lairon.
<Oh no! Get off him you brute, you might be hurting him! Oh Zach, what's wrong? Are you okay? Oh, you're so dirty, dearheart, and you look so frightened!> She floated down to his level, which only ended up in him squeaking and shutting his eyes tightly, and then in the rapid vacant expression that entered his once again opened eyes as he become too frightened to be scared.
Except that his body still knew he wanted to get out of the tunnel, so he attempted to crawl out from under Rapheal.
Rapheal shook his head, <Akriso, you're scaring him.>
<Me? Of course not! It's you, and your insistince on sitting on him! Get off!> She used an impromptu 'Night Shade' attack, creating an alternate her and succeeding in shocking Rapheal into falling over and off of Zach.
Jasmine wasn't half as shocked, and instead jumped up and stuck her hand through the illusion, laughing.
Zach was already half-way down the remainder of the tunnel, before any of them realized he had tooken off, and chased after him. Except for Rapheal who stayed to see if the pokeball would succeed in capturing the Lairon. He hoped Oakash would be able to come out and take things under control. Or Rapheal would have a hard time finding his trainer again and calming things down.

((Maybe we should let Zach reach Nga after this post...))
The pokeball rocked while above the golbat flipped in the air laughing and laughing. He was thoroughly enjoying himself. This human was hillarious.
Eventually, however, he flapped after Zach to watch more fun, and the pokeball stopped rocking with a quiet click. A note floated down to land next to Raphael.
"Ahem. This is highly irregular," the opening line on the note was irony in of itself, "However, you have captured a level 45 lairon. The stats are as follows:
Species: Lairon Name: ? ? ? Gender: Female Level: 45 Moveset: Iron Tail, Roar, Mud Slap, Headbutt Special Ability: Sturdy - Negates One-Hit K.O.s Parsonality: Short tempered, and stubborn. However, easily calmed if that which irritates is removed. Item: There is a king's rock stuck on one molar, which is giving her considerable pain. Find a dentist.

Rapheal snorted, <This is irregular? How many other regions have paper float down to tell you this stuff?> He paused, then shook his head. <Don't answer that.> Grabbing the pokeball, he shot off after Zach, intent on returning Akriso to her pokeball, and getting Zach to find a dentist. Surely there was one in the city they were almost at...
Zach had stopped running just outside the tunnel. This wasn't because he wasn't frightened. Actually, it was because he'd run into the side of a building, presumebly having reached Nga. Akriso hovered worredly over him, until he got enough sense back into his scrambled mind to return her to her pokeball, before beginning to twitch and stare at the sky.
Why had he gotten that pokemon? Why?
-prances off to Nga- ...-Despite how much fun it is to be mean to Zach-
