Zach had, of course, forgotten the fact that the Sudowoodo was hidden beneath all of that stuff. Since he couldn't see it, that was kind of hard to fathom, but hey. It worked. This whole region was beginning to freak him out though. Random men dressed in black appearing and disapearing from and to nowhere. Birds dropping messages on sticks, messages that were only intelligable with hard thought.
Of course, Zach had a pretty good idea on how to get the pokeball. Jasmine's curiousity was finally (it was only the first day) going to be of use. The Sandshrew appeared as Zach released her, having carefully placed Akriso's pokeball in another pocket, and opened up with at on of questions.
"Who's he? What's he? Where are we? Why's that Nidoking in that pile of stuff? What's in the pile of stuff?"
Rapheal took care of the first three questions, with simple answers. < I'm Rapheal, I'm a Zangoose, and we're outside. >
Before Jasmine could ask any questions on where outside was, what kind of a name Rapheal was, or something of sort, Zach spoke up. "He fell in when we started a domino effect in a battle with a Sudowoodo, lots of stuff's in it, and I need you to go in it to get a pokeball out of it. You can find out what the stuff is while you're up to it."
< Pokeball? Get? 'Kay! > Her willingness to get the item was probably only because she was able to go on an adventure, seeing what was in the pile of stuff (and maybe poking the Nidoking), and playing 'find the item'. Which was a game she thought she had invented that she loved.
So she entered the pile of stuff. The hole the pokeball had entered was to small for her, but her curiosity also produced some genius, and she was able to widen the hole by removing a small tree's branch, and digging under the stuff to deepen the hole. Then she disapeared from site, and the pair staying outside had no clue what she was up to.
Because the entire thing would be much to tiring to explain, only small pieces will be recorded of Jasmine's incredible journey, in the dialogue of her thoughts and voice.
'Oh cool! Pretty stones...'
< Ahahahahaha! Funny. >
'...That must be the Nidoking's tail...'
< Eeeeek! Sorry! >
'Oh look! I wonder if that's the pokeball!...Hm...Oooh! Lookit! More pretty stones!'
'Wonder what a pokeball is...'
< Oh hi there! >
In her extensive searching of the pile, she had opened the pokeball containing the Sudowoodo, which sent a cascade of dirt, stone, tree, and randomly assorted items down in random places. Also blocking off Jasmine's return, but that didn't matter since one rocky branch had extended out of the top of the rubble, shoving the Nidoking down the mountain of rubble. Poor guy.
< What happened? >
< Oh. Zach caught you and sent me to get the pokeball, only I didn't know what a pokeball was, so I just kept looking around 'cause there was lots of neat stuff under here, and it's still here, but he told me to get a pokeball, so I didn't pick any of it up, because I didn't know if they were a pokeball or not, and then I touched the little button on that thing you were in and you came out so I said hi, and now we need to get out of here, only you can't fit through my tunnel, and anyways, I don't think it's still up so I can't- >
< I'm caught? ... > Heaving a sigh, the tree/pokemon/rock stood up all the way, emerging from the pile of rubble. < Nothing to help it I suppose...Well, the sooner I get you out of here, the sooner I can go back to being a tree. Pick up the pokeball-the thing with the button you pressed that made me pop out. > Without waiting for Jasmine to say anything, he swooped down and tossed her out with a branch, made difficult by the point of fact he was in cramped quarters and because tree's just didn't bend like that. Of course, her initial sentence had made it clear that she was not to be allowed to speak.
He disapeared again into a flash of red light as Zach recalled him, picking up Jasmine and deciding to endure her questions (But not her running off the route into the underbrush, thus the reason he carried her), since she had preformed so admirably.
"Thanks, Jasmine!"
< Hey, what were those pretty stones, and that funny looking thing like a pokeball, only it wasn't the right colors, and how come that Nidoking tried to bite me when I poked him... >
It was not going to be a quiet walk.
