(I really need to think of some original titles, this one is the same as the title of an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh.)
Rain walks into the colliseum at Sankaku island, and approaches the desk. "I would like to challenge the colliseum," she says.

One of the island natives, a young woman with long brown hair and eyes of the same color, glanced up from her computer. Biting off the portion of the Pocky stick that was in her mouth, she pulled the rest of the stick away, and swallowed, a bit surprised she had to speak with somebody.
"Oh! Yeah, sure, sorry 'bout that," she said, grinning. "One sec..." Her long fingers tapped on her keyboard for awhile, then stopped. "Okay...tell me your name and hometown, and then go down the hall, take a left, keep walking, then open the third door on your right. You'll go into another hallway that'll lead to the challenger's box. By then I'll have your name in there...so yeah..." She glanced at Rain, waiting to get the information.

"Rain Skylark, Viridian City," Rain answers.

The woman tapped a few keys, then looked back up. "Hm? Oh, you're still here? You can leave now. Your first opponent is ready."
Then she went back to eating Pocky and pretending to work at her computer.
((Just so you know, matches here can be quick, they can be long, they can be against powerful Pokemon, they can be against not powerful Pokemon, they can be single, they can be double...it's random.
But the better you RP, the easier the matches will be. So type prettifully. X3))

(Thanks for the tip.)
Rain nods, and walks down the hallway towards the challenger's box. Well, this is it, I'll just give it my all, and if I fail, I'll have no regrets, she thinks.

Almost immediately, a boy ran into the arena. "Shoot, I'm not late, am I?" Seeing that Rain had just reached the box, he sighed in relief. "Good...the PA system was kinda experiencing some technical difficulties, and I'm only here for the summer, so heh...anyways, let's battle!"
An announcer's voice crackled over the microphone. "First match by challenger by Rain Skylark of Viridian City versus Ichiro Tanimura of Cherrygrove City! This will be a three-on-three single battle, with the first attack by the challenger."
He withdrew one of his Pokeballs, enlarged it, and chucked it into the arena. "Go! Kazeko!" The sphere hit the floor, revealing a small, brown owl-like Pokemon that hopped around on one foot. The Hoothoot cooed softly, preparing to glare down whatever Pokemon Rain chose.

"Hmm, a Hoot-Hoot, go Ruby!" Rain shouts, and tosses her pokeball, her Bagon appears in a burst of light. "Lets start out with a psychic attack!"

"P-psychic?" Ichiro gasped as Kazeko was thrown up into the air, and slammed back down. The bird got up shakily, but was able to shake it off. "<O-okay, Kazeko, use Tackle!>"
The bird, who glared at Ruby, muttered an affirmative, then flapped her little wings. She soared into the air (well, at least as much as a Hoot-Hoot can), and dove towards Ruby, aiming for her softer stomach than her head.

"Ruby, use Psychic again!" Rain commands.

This time, Kazeko was ready for it, and prepared for the upward jolt and the slam into the ground-so she took a little less damage.
Ichiro grinned. "Getting used to it, huh, Kazeko?"
"<Yes.>" She nodded, staring at Rain.
"Alright...now, show her that egg attack you know! Mirror Move!" Ichiro commanded, striking a rather lame pose in the process.
"<Of course,>" replied Kazeko in a flat, simple voice. Her feathers shone, and her mind recalled exactly how Ruby had attacked her. She was too thrown off, too surprised the first time, but now she remembered exactly what to do...
She focused her psychic energy on the Bagon, and attempted to do exactly what had been done to her-lift her into the air, and slam her back down into the cold, hard concrete.
((Ruin, could you please indicate how much damage is done to your Pokemon? If your Pokemon takes no damage, your opponent can't either. It's only fair that way.))

(Okay.)
"Hmm, Ruby, use your own psychic attack, on yourself!" Rain commands, and Ruby, slightly weakened by the attack, uses her own psychic energy to lower herself gently to the floor.

Kazeko raised a nonexistent eyebrow, then, without waiting for Ichiro to order anything, dove in for another flying Tackle at Ruby's stomach.
Ichiro just kind of stood there, wondering why Kazeko hadn't waited for any sort of order. He simply shrugged it off, and waited to see what would happen.

"Rage attack!" Rain commands, and the attack hits poor Ruby straight in the chest, but then she retaliates with the rage attack.

((Ruin? Could you please describe the attack? It's a little hard not to know what the attack looks like hor where it is aimed. ^_^;; ))
Kazeko shrieked as Ruby's hard head smacked into her, knocking her out of the air (she was flying pretty low). Skidding along the floor, she used her small talons to keep herself upright.
"Tackle! Again!"
The Hoot-hoot flapped her wings, taking to the air once more. However, she was growing weak, and missed her opponent's chest...and dove right towards her head.

(I don't know what a Rage attack looks like!)
"Rage attack again!" Rain commands, and Ruby rams her hard head right into the Hoot-Hoot's stomach after being hit by the tackle.

((Headbutt-y Rage is fine. ^_^; ) Kazeko shrieked as she skidded across the floor, finally crumpling against the opposite wall. She did not move after that, and the tell-tale swirls of unconsciousness appeared in her eyes. The referee nodded. "Hoot-Hoot is unable to battle! Bagon wins the round! Miss Skylark leads, 3-2." "Good job, Kazeko, return," Ichiro mumbled, zapping up his first Pokemon. He glared at Ruin, a small grin appearing. "Nice job, your Bagon's pretty powerful. But I doubt it'll last this round! It'll go crazy immediately...go, KANSAI!" Another Pokeball hit the arena, and another small, brown Pokemon appeared. However, this one was a rodent instead of a bird, and looked quite a bit less focused. It pulled itself up to a standing position...or, rather, a standing-on-tail position. The Pokemon, a confused-looking female Sentret, looked around. "<Why in the heck? Where am I?>" The Pokemon, speaking with a heavy Kansai accent, blinked stupidly. "<Hey! Ichiro! Why am I here?>" Only, her little "why am I here" sounded more like a "whah am Ah here." Ichiro smirked. "Okay, Kansai! Use ICE BEAM!" "<'Ahce beam'? Oh, Ice Beam! Yeah, I know what that is!>" She grinned, almost falling over. "<Hey, you know that other attack? Ice Punch? Does the Pokemon usin' it get all cold 'n stuff in the paw? I think I'd get mighty cold 'n my paw if I knew->" "JUST DO IT ALREADY!" "<Okay,>" Kansai replied serenely. She hopped off her tail, ran forward a bit, almost fell over, took a big breath, and blew. A thick blue-white beam appeared, and shot towards Ruby. Ichiro shivered as the temperature in the arena dropped a bit near Kansai. ((By the way, this Kansai the inspiration for your Kansai. X3 ))

(This is giving me a headache.)
Crap, of all the attacks they could've used, why did it have to be that one? Rain thinks, and looks at Ruby, they where probably expecting a psychic attack, but that wouldn't work as well, it would take a confusion attack to change the target, unless... "Ruby, use psychic!" She commands at the last minute, and Ruby lifts part of the arena floor up with the attack, and the ice beam hits it instead.
The small dragon gets hit by little bit of the attack, but not enough to do the amount of damage originaly intended.
But more importantly, the piece of the arena has frozen over, and if Rain was right, should've formed what resembles a mirror.

Kansai got off her tail immediately and began to skate around the ice on all four paws. <Whee! Look at me skidding!> she grinned at her trainer. <Nahce ahce!>
She zoomed forward, and jumped off the ice to where it was conctrete around Ruby. <Come on!> she cried, <you should join the ice fun, too.>
With a worryingly powerful headbutt she sent Ruby flying toward the ice.

<Wheeeee!> Kansai twirled past, Ruby, skidding all over the ice faster and faster.
Ichiro looked at Ruby worriedly. He was pretty certain that the psychic energy the bagon had wrapped herself with would withstand most physical assaults, and Kansai, though full of very odd surprises, didn't know any dark or ghost attacks which would be able to get through the barrier. He had better see what the Viridian trainer was planning, so he yelled out: "Double team!"
<Raihgt ya are, boss mahn,> the sentret saluted lazily, before whizzing around and around Ruby, leaving after images in her wake.
