Irae had a sweatdrop at the corner of her forehead at the Eevee's response. How wude... Shaking her head a little, she shrugged it off and grinned wide. "Alright... Counter with Quick-Attack!!" she shouted, pointing at the cubone and it's flying boomeranging bone.

Cetherion rolled his eyes, but decided to do the Quick Attack anyway. It would lull her into a false sense of security, or something. He zoomed forward at the cubone, claws pointed. He then savagely lashed out at the ground-types sensitive skin after knocking him to the ground, and did a sort of impromptu Fury Swipes.
Needless to say, the cubone received a few nasty, bleeding wounds...but luckily, his natural health-monitering reaction kicked in, and he slipped unconscious so his body could heal. Unfortunately, it took awhile for Cetherion to realize this...
Meanwhile, Irae's Pokedex beeped. "Your eevee (level 25) defeated a level 27 wild cubone, giving your eevee (level 25) 1 1/2 levels. The current level of your eevee is now level 26 1/2."
This also prompted a new filled Pokeball on Irae's belt to pop open, and a rather morose-looking trapinch appeared. She looked up at Irae and sighed. "<So this is the trainer I get...ugh. You don't happen to like dragons, do you?>"
Luckily for the cubone, Cetherion switched his attention to the depressed-sounding trapinch, and smiled evilly. He then lunged at the sand ant, and bit down on her hard skull. She didn't even flinch.
"<Figures...my trainer also has an insane eevee. I don't suppose you're going to let go...>"
"<Heck no!>" Came Cetherion's muffled (and evil) response.
((So that's one evil furry thing, one emo dragon...I'm thinking you'll want something a bit more cute 'n hyper? ^_^;; ))

Irae blinked and sighed. I really, really, need to switch out my team to more a compatible team... Irae thought sullenly as she wiggles her nose at the Eevee and the Trapinch. "Hm... let's just continue." She said with a grin at the Eevee. "Oh, and good work Cetherion. I bet that cubone was more surprised by the Fury Swipes chain then me." She gave a slight wink at the prankster of a kitten and scratched behind his ears.

<Why thank you,> the eevee purred cutely, before whipping his head around, and biting down on the offending fingers. Cetherion looked up at Irae with utter innocence, even as his pointed incisors slipped into her skin. <Oo fasse goo. Guoo fwy fulling awaaay. Uleash.>
The gloomy trapinch, her head now out of the furry kitten's grasp sighed. She waddled behind Cetherion on her stubby legs, and bit down hard on his fuzzy tail, causing the evil eevee to let go of Irae with a yelp of pain. Not that it mattered in the long run, since life was just one long string of suffering with no end in sight, but something about Cetherion made the diminutive ground type want to foil his entertainment.
The eevee tried to swing around, but this only made the lighter trapinch sail after him, clinging stubbornly to his tail with her jaws. Cetherion made three tail chasing circuits at high speed, before giving up, and glaring defiantly at Irae, the horrible glint of mischief still visible in his eyes.
((Don't worry about the bite. My cat bites fingers all the time when she's in a hunting mood (Blackberry has two moods, loving and friendly, and then her hunting mood. We should have called her Jekyll and Hyde...), and as long as you don't pull away it's no worse than getting stuck by a pin.))

Irae couldn't help but giggle a little at the two and sighed as the Eevee looked up at her. "I know, and I agree..." Irae lightly nudged her Trapinch. "Would you mind letting go of him? Unless you want me to leave you two 'alone' in a low-lit room." She chided teasingly to the emotional ground type, then a good nickname came to her. "Well, I think I'll call you Depression at any rate." He gave a small sigh at the nickname and shook her head. "Come on, you two," she said firmly. "Let's continue before you end up knocking each other out."

Cetherion just wriggled out of both girls' grasps, bounding away.
Depression just sighed. "<Wow. Now I have no choice but to live up to my name. Or am I living down?>" She gave another sad sigh.
Meanwhile, Cetherion seemed to find himself a seedot near the edge of the forest, and proceded to chase said seedot around in an "<I'M GOING TO EAT YOU>" manner.

Irae sighed with her Trapinch. "It'll be okay... let's go make sure he doesn't get into any trouble..." She sighed again and started walking off in the direction of her Eevee, waiting after a few steps to make sure that her other pokémon follow her.

((I figure that if I'm going to be stealing all of your characters save one, I might as well steal somebody else's, too. XD)) Cetherion was about to pounce on the tasty-looking seedot when the said grass-type was pulled into the bushes by an invisible force. Confused, the eevee stopped, twitching his ears in an annoyed fashion. "<Oi! I was gonna eat that!>" "<It would give you a horrible stomachache, you idiot,>" a female voice chided. A kadabra stepped out of the bushes, the seedot whimpering behind her. "<Now then,>" she began in a sarcastic-sweet voice. "<Am I going to have to turn my psychic attacks on you, or are you going to behave?>" The eevee grinned. "<I'll just eat you, then!>" He lunged blindly at the psychic, causing the seedot to run into the forest in fear. The kadabra rolled her eyes, and held out her spoon. Before Cetherion could reach her, a beam of psychic energy slammed into him, and he was knocked back. He stood up, dazed. "<Wha...wha...whazzat?>" The psychic-type was about to answer when Irae and Depression came running in after them. Depression rolled her eyes. "<If I fight that thing, I'll lose,>" she mumbled, yawning. The kadabra smirked. "<Oh, no, I totally think you'd win,>" she trilled, grinning. "<You misshapen, overused, most-likely-slow, grounded dragon.>" Cetherion growled. "<I wanna kill you...>" "<Good luck with that,>" retorted the kadabra, crossing her arms. "<You're pretty weak.>" |

Irae frowned deeply at the rather cruel remarks of the psychic pokémon. "Cetherion, stand down. She's not worth getting into a fight. Besides, by the sounds of things, she has you beat for psychological damage." Irae rolled her eyes at the Kadabra before picking up the trapinch. "As for you... you should have something better to do then picking on those weaker then you. If not, then you need to be taught a lesson in humility and respect." She turned away and looked at her Eevee. "Come on, Ceth... let's go before we give the satisfaction of having broke our will and resort to something idiotic."

Cetherion growled, pulling his lips back in a sneer. "<No...I want to beat you. I have to beat you. DIE!>" He then roared (which sounded rather pathetic, seeing as eevee just weren't built to roar), and lunged at the kadabra's neck.
She rolled her eyes, waiting for him to just get to the point where his teeth were about to pierce her skin...then she aimed a psybeam right for him. He was thrown back, hit a tree, then fell to the ground unconscious.
The kadabra rolled her eyes. "<How amazing. I defeated him, and he was only just under my level,>" she drawled sarcastically. She then looked behind her. A few seconds later, there was a crashing of something through the underbrush of the forest, and a young man popped out. He glanced at the unconscious eevee, and sighed.
"Boy or girl?" the boy asked tiredly.
"<Boy, or was that not extremely obvious?>" The kadabra gave her trainer a look. "<Lore, are you feeling exceptionally smart today?>"
The young man, Lore, chuckled slightly. "Just the same as always, my dear," he shot back as he bent down to look at the eevee. "Hunh, did he attack you first?"
"<Nooooo, whatever gave you that impression?>"
Lore nodded, then took out a revive. He sprayed Cetherion, who came back to the world of consciousness with a woozy scowl. "<Gonna...killllll...>" Then he noticed Lore, and was about to do great harm to Lore's hand when Lore quickly slapped an eevee-sized muzzle on him. The thing looked shocked, and tried to wriggle free (with no real luck).
Ignoring the preoccupied eevee, Lore stood up and looked at Irae. "I'm sorry about that - I didn't mean to get separated from Kaza like that. Your eevee should be fine, well," he glanced at the almost rabid thing, "to some extent. Have you ever thought about taking him in to see a psychiatrist? He seems rather...evil..."
((Eheheh...I stole Lore for a cameo from Persian. Lore was her character on another site...XD))

Irae sighed as she watched her poor little Eevee, then walked over to him. "No... And I really don't want to. Besides... he just likes doing that sort of thing for the effects." She picked up the dazed pokémon and began to lightly pet him, ready to snatch her hand away if he tried to bite at her again. "Ceth, are you alright? You really shouldn't go off and attack a Kadabra, unless, of course, you want to get beat as horribly as you did..." Glancing over at her trapinch. "Well, you may have a chance at it, but that's as unlikely as Cetherion being nice, even with help... it kinda makes me sad."
