Nickname:

Mi-chan -- She's called that by her mother and the trainers/desciples studying under Hitmo's father that live in the gym and also participate in battles with challengers.
Kitty -- She's called this by her father only, ever since she was a little girl. She was nicknamed that because when she was about four years old she use to pretend to be a skitty and walk around, purring, crawling, and playing around with yarnballs. This was because a wild skitty chose to visit their kitchen window often.

Other Description:

Hitomi stands at 5'2 with a petite body. Her straight hair reaches till her waist and is tied in to two long ponytails, with a few strands bordering her face. Her brown eyes are big and sparkly with thin eyebrows and tiny eyelashes.

Hitomi wears a half-sleeves striped gray-black t-shirt that has a hoody attached to it, a pair of jeans short shorts, fingerless gray gloves, and a pair of dusty sneakers. Her attire varies in different seasons. She has an innocent and naive look about her but she can look quite mischevious when she wants to, as well. Her skin is is creamy and soft, and she's neither skinny or fat -- she's in between, thin most likely.

Personality:

Probably what seperates Hitomi from the rest is her interesting personality. Hotomi's father's gym (and their residence) being in an isolated area filled with a vast forest and mountains and no civillizationa at all, she had spent all her time growing up alone. Hitomi was and is a very shy and sweet girl that likes helping in need and cares for pokemon a lot, she daydreams a lot and this is important: has a phobia from everything.

And I mean everything -- in simpler words, she's scared from everything and everyone, non-living or living. But she usually faces them (like it or not), and she doesn't give up at something she starts it and is quite hardworking towards her goals.

When she was all alone in her house growing up she had a made a new friend -- a more loud, stubborn, angry, and violent person. The total opposite of Hitomi. It was an imaginary friend that she created, well atleast it started that way. The 'friend' slowly took over the little girl with time, consuming her body and mind momentarily often. And therefore, Hito developed a personality diorder.

Her parents, and the gym people had given both these Hitomis a name. Her original nice, sweet, shy-self was called 'the angellic kitten' while her other, more violent, scary, evil-self was called 'the demonic kitten'. Hitomi usually is the angelic kitten, the demon kitten just appears whenever someone upsets her about something. Like take pokemon abuse, mistreating other people, looking down on people as examples. She'd actually beat up people till they were black and blue. So it was no new news if the gym was being turned upside down whenever a new rude challenger or visitor came to face or visit her father.

History:

Hitomi resided in a tiny region of Rosera, it's a small region that's surrounded with snowy mountains. Hitomi's father was a fighting-type based gym leader and also a dojo master. He was quite focused in what he did and only concentrated on battling and fighting all day long, not really ever spending time with his daughter -- which is why Hitomi doesn't like fighting pokemon as much as the rest of the species since her father's obsessed with them and she has seen them all her life growing up, so in other words she's bored with them.

Hitomi's father had also taught Hitomi various arts of fighting and self-defense as she was growing up, he had to of course since she was the daughter of the great fighting gym leader slash dojo master ever existing. Hitmoi's mother was a professional photographer and still travels the world, taking pictures of various pokemon. Sometimes mailing a few to her family to see. Hitomi has always been in contact with her mom growing up through the video phones since her mother was always away, the girl's mother only comes home for certain occasions. She's quite the busy woman. But Hitomi doesn't mind and continues to support her career and life-long dream of photography.

As mentioned above in the personality section, due to her having a personality disorder she had caused quite a lot of ruckus in the gym. Her father was getting quite worried about her daughter since several people complained to Officer Jenny about her physically and verbally abusing people. Finally after a while, Hitomi's father decided to take her to a psychiatrist for check up and to take their advice on this strange behavioural issue.

The doctor, after much observing and examining, said that she might need some time in civilliazation, to go out, explore, and meet new people and pokemon and interact with them. Her father agreed hesitatingly, and with a heavy heart he had sent his little girl to the Jenta region for her very first life changing experience, a pokemon journey.

Hitomi's point of view in all of this? She's excited, yeah -- but is scared that a lot of random pokemon might gang up on her and beating her up along the way, or her own pokemon team hating her, insulting her, and throwing empty potion bottles at her. The blue-haired girl cringes at the very thought.

Mine: Psyduck, Mew, Bulbasaur, Totodile, Torchic, Wooper, Articuno, Zangoose, Staryu, and the list goes on~
Hitomi's: Butterfree, Espeon, Staryu, and Hoothoot to name some.

Riku knocked on the laboratory's door, panting.

Knock, knock.
Knock, knock, knock, knock.
KNOCK!

The dark green-haired boy's face twisted in confusion. Why wasn't anyone answering? Maybe the professor was busy doing some kind of research inside? He should probably just enter and see for himself, he couldn't be late otherwise all the starters would be taken.

The thirteen year old slowly twisted the door's knob and entered the lab. Riku's eyes widened as he looked around his surroundings, "woah.." this was a first time Riku had seen an actual laboratory. It seemed so high-tech and squeaky clean. Riku was from a small vilage in the forest nearby Azaela Town so everything was indeed very new to him. He wasn't new to pokemon though, oh no. Riku knew lots about pokemon.

Anyways, Riku searched the lab but the perfoessor that was suppose to be here, nor any other person that could assist or direct him was present currently. The young boy frowned at this. This wasn't right.

Riku walked over to the strange desk in the middle of the lab, with three pokeballs on top of it. Riku wondered if they were being researched, or were they for beginners. Oh well, since no one was here anyway..

Riku scooped up all three pokeballs and happily made his way out of the lab, dancing. He not only had a starter, but a team! Yay!

And Riku lived happily ever after in prison.

((And then was jailed for being felonious... Anyway, accepted, as long as this girl isn't a glameow 'morph. We still don't do pokemon morphs in Jenta.))

Personality: This pokemon is very curious, and he'll investigate anything that looks as if it might be interesting. He's one of those people who asks life's persistent questions. Unfortunately, the answers might lead to trouble. Still, he's very smart (he does have a very weird grab-bag of trivia stored away), and more importantly, he's fast enough to outrun most of what he gets into. Of course, all his running about does mean that he eats his weight in food when it's available, and he can get tired if he runs around too long on empty.

Ability: Thick Fat - Protection from hot and cold attacks
Personality: He's gonna grow up into a walrein. Yup! Uh huh! Mightiest sea creature in the world! Oh yeah! And he'll know blizzard, which is cool! He can be a little immature, because he's so excited about everything. But he's a nice pokemon willing to roll with whatever comes at him.

Ability: Poison Point - if hit by a direct attack has a 30% chance of poisoning the target.
Personality: She's a bit miffed that she hasn't been allowed to evolve for 29 levels. She's ready to be a nidorina, and the league wouldn't let her. Meanie pants. On the upside this means that she's eager to train with Hitomi, on the downside, she won't trust the trainer for whose benefit her evolution was delayed.
